That morning Seokjin drove her jeep wrangler, taking her to the campus where she was going to work. He also escorted Taehyung and Namjoon because they were on the same campus. During the trip, Seokjin chatted that everything was well prepared. Seokjin is already manipulating the memory of classmates Namjoon and Taehyung. The humans will not remember when Taehyung and Namjoon joined the students there. Likewise the teachers. Taehyung is in his first year, while Namjoon is in his third year. Both are different majors.
While Seokjin will be a lecturer in History. Both his identity and all the materials he had prepared well. This one vampire is very smart and observant, maybe because it has felt the journey of life from time to time.
The three of them had already used the contact lenses that Yoongi had prepared. Contact lenses with normal human eye color to cover their vampire eyes. Each has prepared a hat, just in case they are not strong linger in the sun.
“I hope our life here is much better than before,” said Seokjin while turning the steering wheel for parking, “We are allowed to make friends but still be careful to maintain our identity. We don't know lest there be hunters around us.”
“What on this campus there are vampires as well besides us?” ask Namjoon.
Jeep was parked smoothly, the engine was dead, but all three were still inside.
“There are several...” says Seokjin, “But better we don't have to get close to vampires on this campus. Experience always proves that it will only invite the hunter find us.”
“Taehyung, are you nervous?” seokjin asked with a gentle smile, looking at Taehyung who had since looked out with enlarged eyes.
Taehyung just bit his lip and Namjoon who was sitting next to him, grabbed his shoulder. “The student world is more fun than school. You'll love it, Tae.”
“As vampires we have a very keen sense of hearing,” says Seokjin, “We have to pretend that we don't have it. And don't forget to breathe like a human being.”
Namjoon took a breath and threw it away. He must be used to doing this or people will consider him a zombie.
“Tomorrow I will go to campus by motor,” said Namjoon, “Taehyung, do you want to go tomorrow with me or with Seokjin Hyung?”
Taehyung gave a wry smile. He doesn't like riding motorcycles much less Namjoon drives it like a fidelity. “I'll be with Seokjin Hyung.”
“OK then.” Namjoon said while raising his shoulders.
They also came out of the jeep. Taehyung tightened the bag on his back. He is still pounding how his life journey as a student on this campus. Taehyung only hopes he can make friends on his first day, to make him not too awward.
Seokjin smelled vampires in the air. He turned his body and saw 2 vampires walking up to them. Seokjin's jaws harden at the sight of Woobin and Xiumin. They're from the Cha clan.
“Ohoho, look who came..” said Woobin smirked and looked at Seokjin with shiny eyes.
“Seokjin the alpha..” tukas Xiumin bent the body with scorn, “Long ago.”
Namjoon's reflex immediately stood in front of Taehyung, trying to protect the youngest member in their clan. Namjoon knew Woobin and Xiumin, arguably they were troublemaking vampires, sometimes also daring to disturb humans.
“I don't think you're here as students?” tanya Seokjin tried to speak calmly. They cannot do anything conspicuous here, it will only arouse suspicion in the public.
“See you have a new member?” knock Woobin while glancing at someone behind Namjoon's body, “Baby vampire? Cih.”
Seokjin growling. Almost his fangs will come out with a reflex because of Woobin's speech. “Urusion of your affairs.”
Taehyung who was behind Namjoon could only bite his lips. He doesn't like this kind of situation. He hopes his clan can live quietly in Seoul.
“Do not bother, we will take care of our affairs.” said Woobin. He lifted one of his hands into the air and turned away with Xiumin.
“Aish, why Woobin and Xiumin are on this campus.” Namjoon said.
“I've made sure your classmates are not vampires.” said Seokjin, “There may be vampires in the same department as you but are less likely to be classmates.”
“Arraseo,” sahut Namjoon, “Tae, kajja, I'll take you to your first class.”
Taehyung. “No need. I-I'll find my own class.”
“But this is your first time as a student, I'm afraid you'll be confused.”
Taehyung shook his head more firmly at Namjoon. Both men always thought of him as a baby. He may be a baby vampire, but he's a grown man. Namjoon who wants to take her to his first class like a parent who takes his child to a playgroup class. And Taehyung doesn't want to be too flashy. He and Namjoon are in different majors, he doesn't want people to wonder about the relationship between them.
Seokjin gave a nod to Namjoon, telling him not to force Taehyung. “The college schedule was brought right?”
Taehyung reached into his pants pocket and showed him a piece of paper that was his schedule. “I go first, Hyung~!!”
“May you get your first friend, Taetae!” namjoon said giving a smile with dimples.
Taehyung breathed out loudly. He didn't know if he could make friends on the first day. Taehyung also walked away leaving his two hyungs. His eyes looked down at the schedule, seeing that his first class was Chemistry was in the west wing building of the 3rd floor.
Taehyung tried to encourage himself. He had never been a student and walking on campus like this made him anxious. Actually he was excited because his hyungs said that the campus world is better than school. But it is undeniable Taehyung's fear that maybe there will be no humans interested in making friends with him.

.
.
Jeon Jungkook sat on his stool. Wireless headphones perched on his ear with his favorite playlist before starting first class this morning. He was doodling in a notebook, drawing sketches of creepy vampire monsters.
His boss is waiting for the lecturer who has not come as well. Jungkook put his pencil on the table, no longer interested in drawing. His eyes accidentally saw someone who had just entered the classroom. Her hair is brown and her facial lines are perfect.
Jungkook slightly pursed his nose when he saw the man wearing a kids-like jumpsuit cream outfit with a green inner shirt. Ugh, colors and appearance are very striking for a student size.
Jungkook tilted his face. Did he see the student for the first time? But it was like there was a hidden memory in his mind that said that the man had indeed become his classmate from the beginning.
Taehyung went into the classroom with his eyes patterned, full of admiration to see a classroom that was much wider than when he was a student, looking at people who were chatting, to him looked so cool. The humans in this room looked more mature compared to the school children.
Taehyung started smiling to himself. Looks like the situation will be much better compared to the schools he went to before?
Suddenly someone stumbling Taehyung's legs made him surprised and immediately fell to the floor. For this vampire will not hurt, but still Taehyung felt another pain when he heard the laughter of some humans.
Taehyung lifted his face and saw the two men who had been humming his legs giving a sneering smile to Taehyung. Seokjin has manipulated the memory of people who are Taehyung's class so that Taehyung thought he had joined the lecture from the beginning.
Taehyung got up and just looked down, quickly dodging before he was bullied like in the previous school. It turns out that the humans in this room are the same as their school friends.
Jungkook saw the incident. His classmates were again practicing themselves as if they were superior so that they could do such things to others who were considered weaker.
Taehyung's eyes caught Jungkook's gaze. He walked up to the man while trying harder. “Can I sit there?” Taehyung pointed to the bench next to the empty Jungkook.
Jungkook never allowed anyone to sit next to him. The bag is worth more to sit on that bench. But seeing the puppy eyes Taehyung showed, Jungkook could not resist. He would feel a sinner if he refused the request.
Jungkook nodded slowly making Taehyung smile widely while saying small ‘yes’.
Taehyung sits next to Jungkook. His face looked as excited as it was just being able to sit next to his classmates.
The lecturer finally entered the class and the Chemistry course was started. Jungkook tried to focus on listening to the lecturer even though sometimes the man next to him asked a lot about this course. Jungkook wondered to himself why it was as if the man next to him was a freshman who knew nothing? But in Jungkook's memory it is stored that the man was indeed his classmate from the beginning.
“Oh yes, we are not acquainted, what is your name?” taehyung asked quietly after he asked some of the words the lecturer said to Jungkook.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung skeptically. Oh, he doesn't intend to be friends with anyone in this room. If Taehyung asks him about the course, Jungkook will answer him but for friendship.
Jungkook simply threw away his face and shifted away from Taehyung, showing blatantly what Taehyung's question answered.
Taehyung has lips. It seems he failed to return to make friends. In the rest of the course Taehyung chose to be silent, not wanting to disturb Jungkook again.
The first course is completed. Taehyung looked at his schedule paper and it turned out that the next course was still two hours away. Ugh shit, still long enough. Now how, what should he do while waiting?
Next to him, Jungkook seemed to be tidying up his belongings and putting them in a bag. Without saying anything Jungkook immediately got up and left Taehyung.
Seeing his departure, Taehyung hurriedly entered his book and stationery. He didn't know where he was going, but he decided he was going to follow his friend.
Taehyung follows Jungkook while keeping his distance, so as not to be found to have followed. The world of lectures is very new for Taehyung. On his first day like this he didn't even know what to do like a typical student. So he decides to follow Jungkook while biting his nails, between confused and anxious.
Jungkook sighed. He wondered why the strange disciple was following him this way. Jungkook clearly realized that the student wearing the jumpsuit was following him. Of course from the tip of Jungkook's eye could notice, how the striking green color that Taehyung wore caught his eye.
But Jungkook won't bother. He continued his steps into the gymnasium. One of the things he did while waiting for his next class was exercise. In this gymnasium a lot of equipment that can help students exercise, there are even gym equipment as well.
Taehyung was again stunned when he entered the gymnasium. This room is very large and many students exercise here, some are running around the gymnasium, some are jumping rope, some are cycling, or just sitting relaxing on the empty benches provided.
If Yoon-gi and Nam-joon say that the world of college is much different from school, Taehyung seems to agree. This was beyond his expectations. Or maybe because he used to go to school on the edge of town, seeing these different apparitions made his mouth open.
Jungkook looked back and saw how Taehyung was looking around like a village man. Jungkook so wondered if that person had never even entered a gymnasium. Jungkook did not care, and he chose to sit alone, put his bag, fondle what he would do here. He wanted to exercise but did not want to sweat too much because there were still classes he had to take. Is it just push up.
Jungkook's eyes looked back at Taehyung. A student throws a soft drink can in front of Taehyung.
“Hey, little boy, please throw away that trash.” he casually said.
Jungkook looked at them. Again such an unworthy behavior. Jungkook snorted because Taehyung even gave a polite nod and obeyed the words of the person who bullied him.
“She's a student from which village,” tukas others mock, “His appearance is ancient once.”
“He might be able to make a maid on this campus. We tell this it.”
Their voices reached Jungkook's ears. How shameless those people show themselves to be so disgusting in the treatment of their fellow men. Jungkook tries to remind himself not to care, not to take care of other people's lives. But his eyes still could not turn. And he immediately stood up annoyed when he saw another student throw a sofdrink can on Taehyung's head, the remaining water in the can wet some of his face and clothes.
Taehyung stood frozen there, not daring to stare at anyone. He's being bullied, even on the first day at this college that he hopes things are going better than ever?
“Pour the trash,” said the man who threw the can, “Then go to the canteen and buy us 5 cans of the same drink.”
Jungkook growled in annoyance. He can't stand it. He picked up his bag and went straight to those people. He stood in front of Taehyung and glared at the bullies.
The students who had been pranking Taehyung immediately shrieked when they saw Jeon Jungkook. They were the same age and no one dared to disturb Jungkook because the student was great at boxing. They did not dare to say anything because they thought the person they were bothering was a friend of Jeon Jungkook.
Taehyung stood confused, not understanding what was really going on. Until Jungkook finally walked away but a few steps immediately stopped and turned to Taehyung. “Kajja!”
Though confused, Taehyung gets a sign that Jungkook has him follow her. Taehyung hurriedly followed Jungkook back. They left the gymnasium.
Jungkook walked towards the canteen, letting Taehyung follow him behind. Jungkook walked towards the table a little away from the crowd. He put his bag there and sat down with a loud sigh. Damn, since when did he pretend to be a superhero like this.
Taehyung stood by the table, biting his lips and could only duck. Not daring to sit down because his classmate did not necessarily want his presence.
“Ya, sit down.” review Jungkook slowly.
Taehyung's face instantly turned sparkling. His face had changed 180 degrees. He sat down in front of Jungkook, smiling as best he could. He was even offered straight away, he didn't need to offer himself like in his previous school.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung from top to bottom, looking at him while raising one eyebrow. Of course Taehyung's appearance will make anyone want to bully him. I mean, in modern times especially among Seoul students, no one looks like that. Honestly speaking, Taehyung's clothes were like those from the '90s, very outdated.
“What we will eat?” tanya Taehyung carefully, as if not wanting his voice to make Jungkook regret his existence here.
“Yeah, yeah..” said Jungkook lazily, don't know what else to do. Jungkook got up and walked towards the food. Taehyung.
“I will practice you..” whispered Taehyung slowly behind Jungkook while they were taking food.
Jungkook snorted, doubting that a student like Taehyung could do it.
Taehyung took meat, sausages and seafood. He muttered cheerfully as he spooned a lot of meat onto his plate. In Jungkook's heart, it seemed like Taehyung was a meat lover, look at the amount of meat he took.
At the checkout, Taehyung stops Jungkook from taking out his wallet. “Let me pay, Chi-Chingu..” he said more carefully when saying chingu.
Jungkook stopped taking out his wallet and stood facing Taehyung, as if to challenge him if this old-fashioned looking student could actually treat him.
Taehyung took the card out of his wallet and handed it to the cashier. Jungkook's eyes grew bigger, Taehyung used the card to pay! For your information, the card is not a credit card, it is a card that does contain electronic money in it.
After saying thank you, Taehyung reinserted his card. He glanced at Jungkook who was still dumbfounded. “Kajja...”
While back at the table and they start eating, Jungkook is still curious about what happened. He comes from a very capable family, but Jungkook has not been allowed to have such a card. His sister already has it but Jungkook himself does not have it. He still gets cash from his uncle.
“Your parents gave you a card as pocket money?” jungkook said at the end.
Taehyung's face looked up and he was very excited because he had gotten the question. “My first song gave it to me. I live with my hyungas.”
“Oh wow...” comments Jungkook. Looks like appearances can be deceiving. The student in front of him turned out to be quite dirty then, well even though his appearance was a little kampungan.
“Did you know the guys at the gym?” ask Taehyung. He always puts out his mouth when he's eating. “So I was confused whether I should buy you a drink for your friends or not.”
“They are not my friends.” said Jungkook flat. How could this guy be so innocent and if Jungkook wasn't there maybe Taehyung would really be the errant student's errand.
“Ohh...” Share Taehyung. He bit his lips, thinking of what else he had to say so that their chatter would not just stop.
“You don't live with your parents?” tanya Jungkook makes Taehyung surprised from his daydream.
“Oh, I have no parents, I live with 3 hyungku.” replied Taehyung innocently.
Jungkook stopped eating. Looks like he is the same as Taehyung, no longer has parents. Jungkook wonders if Taehyung's parents also died because…
Jungkook dismissed his thoughts. It would be stupid to ask that.
“I also only stay with my uncle and older sister.” Jungkook finally said.
“Yeay, we are the same..”.
Jungkook smiled faintly, how could Taehyung say it cheerfully, as if it was not something bitter.
They finished eating and were still sitting there waiting for the next class. Jungkook is not interested in talking a lot because he always thinks he does not want to get along with others. Taehyung could only sit up clumsily, not daring to open up the chatter of fear instead making Jungkook tell him to leave.
Jungkook pulled out his phone and opened what he could see, twitter, naver or some messages on the line. Jungkook rarely chat on his phone but there are several chat groups that he has, such as boxing groups and sports groups. Jungkook just opened it, read the chat in it with no interest.
Taehyung looks at Jungkook who is engrossed in his phone. Suddenly an idea came to his mind. “You also have a phone?”
Jungkook raised his face. “Uh, yes?”
Taehyung gave a big smile. He also took out his cell phone. “How about we exchange numbers?”
Jungkook smiled blandly. He wanted to say what he wanted to do. But again he did not have the heart, Taehyung's face was like a dog that was just expelled by its owner.
Okayyyy, just exchanging numbers might not matter, after all he would not reply to messages if Taehyung did.
Taehyung was very happy when the two finally exchanged numbers. Jungkook could clearly see that there were only 3 contacts in Taehyung's phone book. Surprisingly each contact was named: Hyung 1, Hyung 2, Hyung 3. It's not strange.
Jungkook raised his eyebrows, wondering what name Taehyung would have for this number.
Jungkook gulped as he read Taehyung typing : Chingu 1.
Oh myGod. Is he the only friend in the world?
I want Jungkook to hit the jidat.
“Save my number with Jeon Jungkook.”
“Eoh?” Taehyung looked surprised.
“That's my name. Jeon Jungkook.”
Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a sparkle. It's like an introduction among very good friends. Taehyung also typed the name, even giving the rabbit emoticon after the name.
“Why did you add rabbit emotes?” ask Jungkook to frown.
“I think it suits you.” replied Taehyung straightforwardly.
“Ya!” Jungkook felt like nagging but he had to hold it. He did not accept that he was likened to a cute and weak rabbit. But whatever, Jungkook won't bother, but that doesn't mean he'll contact Taehyung.
“My name is Kim Taehyung.” Taehyung said carefully.
Jungkook just turned the eyeball. Ugh. He just put Kim in.
“Anni, don't Kim.” Taehyung said. Kim is the name of his vampire clan. He doesn't want humans to keep his name with just Kim.
Jungkook's face is getting bland. He lazily typed Taehyung after Kim.
“I'm very happy, Jeon Jungkook Chingu..” muttered Taehyung with a big smile.
Jungkook is rather amused to hear he is called Jeon Jungkook Chingu. Oh, my God, that's weird.
“You were my first friend. I'm very happy.” continued Taehyung.
Taehyung's words surprised Jungkook. Whats? He's his first friend? Jungkook just threw his face away, already not knowing what to say.
