That morning Soojung passed Seokjin in the hallway. Somewhat different from the interaction of lecturers and students, the smiles they give are like meaningful smiles.

“Morning, Soojung..” greet Seokjin friendly.

Soojung returned a smile. The lecturer has given up the formality and called him by name only, not ‘Miss Soojung’ anymore. “You will teach, Mr. Kim?”

“Yep, in junior class..” Seokjin half laugh, “I hope they can be arranged like senior class.”

Soojung laughed softly. “Jouniors are always in opposition at the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Kim.”

“Yeah, yeah. maybe I should entertain them with non-boring material.”

“Vampire material is very non-boring.”

Seokjin smiled a long smile and looked at Soojung. “Yeah, maybe next time we also need to brainstorm back about vampires, Soojung.”

The woman smiled shyly and nodded. “Then excuse me, Mr. Kim.”

“Hopeful day, Soojung.” said Mr. Kim finally walked away.

Soojung looked back, looking at the lecturer. Why does he feel his heart melting yes just by looking at the smile of his lecturer. Oh God, what else now…

Soojung was in the library until night to complete some of her paper assignments. He didn't think he remembered the time. When it came out of the library the sky was already dark. Soojung was walking down the library stairs when one of her classmates came to her.

“Soojung-ssi, where have you been, since I was looking for you.” said Injae, “I called you and your phone is off.”

“Um?” Soojung confused herself. He reached into the cellphone in his jacket pocket which turned out to be dead because of the battery drain. “Wae?”

“Tadi afternoon Kai invited Mr. Kim stormed in the parking lot. Kai's your girlfriend, right?”

“Mwo?” Soojung was shocked.

“He spied on Mr. Kim while carrying your name and he punched Mr. Kim one time.”

Soojung shut her mouth, shocked to hear it. He should have solved the matter with Kai. And indeed since the incident at the cafe, Soojung ignored all the messages Kai sent. Soojung is still angry, and he is even more angry now when he finds out what Kai has done.

“La-then?” tanya Soojung tries to master the shock inside her.

“Other students who saw him tried to prevent Kai from hitting Mr. Kim again. In the end, Mr. Kim got in the car and left.”

Soojung wants to curse. Kai had completely missed, could he not control his temperament just once?

Soojung immediately rushed away, she will come to Kai right now. He wanted to scold her, give her calculations, reprimand her for being prejudiced against Seokjin.

Soojung knows where she can find Kai now. The club always mentioned his girlfriend.

Although Soojung hated the club and never set foot there, she was forced to do so tonight. I can't be patient to wait until tomorrow.

Half an hour later Soojung arrived at the club in question. He came in, the smell of alcohol and cigarettes was already pestering his nose. The dimly lit room was accompanied by stomping music. Soojung hates places like this.

Soojung is looking for where Kai is. Even if Kai isn't here, Soojung will go to his house. His eyes looked at someone who seemed to be Kai, especially since the leather jacket that the person was wearing was the same jacket that Kai used to wear.

Soojung came to the table. His eyes were round and his heart was full of annoyance when he realized Kai was sitting with a woman. Kai's hand hugged the woman's waist, while the woman slipped spoiled onto Kai's shoulder.

Soojung snorted laughter. Is this how her boyfriend at the club does it? Soojung can't help it.

“Kai!” tukas Soojung after arriving at the table.

Kai raised his face and was surprised to see Soojung coming.

“So this is what you do when you're not with me?” tukas Soojung is angry.

“Mwo?” Soojung was eager to laugh because of how childish Kai's answer was. “I and Mr. Kim is not dating. We talked about important things.”

“Cih, what important talks until the lecturer and students meet at the cafe?” Kai stood up angry.

“We only talk about vampires!!”

“Vampire again?” Kai gave a mocking grin, “Are you an SD boy, Soojung? You think I believe?”

“Mwo?” Soojung glanced at the woman who was still sitting. The woman seemed to be not bothered at all with this conversation. What the fuck.

“Then what about you, Kai? Not trying to ask what happened, but you were here with another woman after hitting Mr. Kim?”

Kai grunts. “Can't I do it?”

Both of Soojung's hands clenched in anger, she felt so betrayed and humiliated. “K-you... You jerk man!!”

Kai glared furiously. “Jaga what you say!” Kai raised his hand already about to hit Soojung.

The woman was so scared that she could only close her eyes, waiting for a punch to land on her cheek. But it had been waiting for a while for the blow not to come. Soojung braced himself to open his eyes. He saw that there was another hand holding Kai's punch. Soojung was shocked when she saw Seokjin already standing next to her, holding Kai's wrists firmly. His face looked so serious and cold.

Kai growled and tried to escape from Seokjin's grip but how strong Seokjin's hand was. Kai groaned in pain as Seokjin squeezed him even stronger. He did not know that Seokjin had this kind of strength, but had never fought back before when he was hit.

Soojung looked at Seokjin dumbfoundedly.

“Enyahlah.” tukas Seokjin cold and then throw Kai's hand. Seokjin pulls Soojung's hand and takes her away from it.

Kai fell onto the sofa and stared at the two. He saw her wrists red because of Seokjin's grip. Damn, he did not know that it turned out that the lecturer had great strength as well.

Seokjin pulls Soojung and takes her into the car. The woman did not refuse at all, she was actually still shocked as to what had just happened.

“Gwaenchana?” seokjin asked as the two were already sitting inside the jeep. Seokjin's face still looked serious though not as scary as it was when inside the club.

Soojung's eyes are still patterning and can only nod. It's not a dream, is it? What happens until Seokjin can also be inside the club?

“I'll take you home, Soojung..” muttered Seokjin started the car engine.

“Ke-Why Mr. Kim can be here?” ask Soojung to vent, “So I got word from my friend that Kai hit you again in the campus parking lot.”

Seokjin glanced at the woman. He said nothing and refocused on the road.

“A-I actually want to apologize for what Kai did to you, Mr. Kim´s. He's been looking for a commotion twice without knowing the problem clearly.”

“He who should apologize, you are not wrong with me.”

Soojung gulps. Compared to being in a dimly lit club, Soojung can now see Seokjin's right cheek slightly turning blue. “A-you're okay? Your cheeks are still bruised.”

“It's just a minor injury, Soojung, gwaenchana.”

“I should have instantly resolved this issue with Kai since yesterday so that Mr. Kim doesn't need to be dragged back into Kai's bad behavior. D-and I don't know what happened if Mr. Kim didn't show up earlier.”

Seokjin turned her head and gave a gentle smile to Soojung. “Actually I'm waiting for you on campus, I want to tell you directly about what happened. But seeing you go in a hurry, I followed you to the club. I wasn't going to interfere with your conversation with Kai. But when he saw he was going to play a hand..”.

Soojung bit her lips and lowered her head a little. That's shameful. She was embarrassed for being treated like that by her own lover in public, also in front of Seokjin.

“Trank, Mr. Kim, I owe you.”

Seokjin smiled at Soo-jung again. “It is my duty to protect my students. This will probably be a lesson for you too, Soojung, about being in a relationship.”

Soojung nodded and sighed. He wouldn't think twice about this. He will end his relationship with Kai.

“What shouldn't Kai's actions this afternoon that hit you just reported on the rector?”

“No need, I am not happy to find the limelight,” said Seokjin, “He will not be assortment again, Soojung, believe me.”

Soojung looked at the lecturer. Who is this man in front of him? So wise, gentle and helped him tonight. Su-jung played both her hands nervously. And just then when Seokjin held Kai's hand that was about to hit him, Soojung's heart beat really fast.
