Vampire In The City
The Defective Identity

Jungkook looked at the two friends sitting in front of him. He looked at Taehyung and Jimin alternately. Is this just his feeling? But there seemed to be something the two friends were hiding.

As usual they had lunch together in the cafeteria. Already since the morning Jimin has always been with Taehyung. The two came together to campus, even though they were different majors though. Jungkook wondered why Jimin suddenly clingy and followed wherever Taehyung went?

Jimin avoided Jungkook's gaze. He felt that his friend was astonished by him. And indeed, there was something Jimin had hidden. He didn't tell anyone what was going on in the basement, including Jungkook. He asks Taehyung to keep it a secret (although he does not know that Taehyung would be happy to do so so that his identity is not revealed).

Not much has Taehyung said since the basement incident. But quietly in his heart Jimin began to associate one thing with another. All of that was still milling around in his mind, still like a puzzle that he could soon solve. But Jimin will not rush, he is always patient for this kind of business.

Jimin glanced at Taehyung who was sitting next to him, who was eating. Jimin is deeply indebted to Taehyung and his hyungs. He still did not understand the truth, there were preconceptions in his heart. but more than that, he judged Taehyung on his prejudices. Taehyung was the best friend he ever had. He will not doubt Taehyung's friendship and sincerity.

“Jungkookie, we will return to the arcade, how?” bring Taehyung.

Jungkook. “Mian, I want to go straight home and rest.” The UTS period is over and Jungkook feels he wants to be able to sleep long in place of the previous nights he was sleep deprived.

“You can go with Jimin.”

Jimin raised his face looking at Jungkook. Why did he feel Jungkook's tone was so bitter.

“Ah ne...” Taehyung said weakly, slightly disappointed. “Oh yeah sometime I want to stay at your house huh, Jungkookie? My hyunga has allowed me to stay.”

“Yeay~” Jimin is excited to hear it, “We can stay up late and play video games together.”

Taehyung gave a nod to his boxy smile.

Jungkook just muttered softly and continued to eat. It was good that Taehyung was allowed to stay, but for now Jungkook was in no mood to stay together. Something's been bothering her mind these few days.

Jimin also wants to someday have the opportunity to come to Taehyung's house. He was curious and wanted to make sure of something.

Going home from college, Jungkook parted ways with Taehyung and Jimin. The two friends decide to go to the arcade, and Jungkook doesn't care at all. He walked straight, not allowing Taehyung and Jimin to say goodbye.

“What is Kookie not feeling well?” taehyung muttered to Jimin. The two walked towards the arcade which was a few more blocks away. “In class his face was grim.”

Jimin shrugged his shoulders. “He may be exhausted due to UTS preparation. He needs a break, Tae.”

“Oh so..”.

“Tae... I know I've said it many times..” Jimin said. Taehyung looked tensely at him. “But the incident in the basement is still a question mark for me. My mother doesn't remember the incident at all as if it were amnesia. And you said the vampire in my basement is gone.”

Taehyung gulped.

“How yes I said it. This brings me to some conclusions, Tae. I-I..” Jimin ruffled his own hair in frustration. He did not want to hurt Taehyung with this talk. “I may be in shock.. but.. Tae, believe me, I will not judge you and your hyungs.”.

“Ji-Jiminnie..”.

“I'm just in shock, okay? But I will still be the same Jimin as before. And to me, you are the same Taehyung, my friend.”.

Taehyung was surprised to hear that. He was very moved, although he was shocked by Jimin's confession which led to Jimin knowing his true identity.

Jimin took a long breath. “Something you have to take me to your house, okay? I have not thanked your hyungs. You also still owe me an explanation of the blood transfused into my body.”

Taehyung finally smiled. “If the time is right, I will take you home. And my hyung will explain everything to you.”

Jimin immediately hugged his best friend's body. “Oh, Tae.. I don't know what happens if I never meet you. Gomawo, Chinguya.”

Taehyung smiled full haru. He feels the same. She is so grateful to have met Jimin and Jungkook, her life was never bland again.

They took off their hugs and walked back towards the arcade while chatting cheerfully. While walking like that, suddenly their path was blocked. Unexpectedly Woobin and Xiumin confronted them with scornful smiles.

“Very moving, eoh.” said Woobin looking at Taehyung and Jimin cynically.

“You again!” jimin tukas beaver. He was about to come forward punching them but Taehyung held his arm. He doesn't want to have a commotion here.

“Ka-you want what?” tanya Taehyung tried not to be afraid. What else do the two vampires want? Wasn't it enough that their previous actions had left a wound on Taehyung's chest?

“So your friend already knows your identity?” xiumin hatch. His vampire ears could of course hear what Taehyung and Jimin were talking about. Xiumin looked at Jimin with an evil smirk. “Do you wonder what we did to your vampire friend a while ago?”

Jimin's teeth were clenching in anger. He'll never forget what happened in the back of the lab. The two people in front of him were not wrong to bully, but it seems that both of them deliberately hurt Taehyung because Taehyung is a vampire? This is Jimin's thinking, he doesn't know that Woobin and Xiumin themselves are vampires.

“Ji-Jimin, we do not need to serve them..” muttered Taehyung trembled and held his friend's arm, telling him to leave from there.

But Jimin refused. He was eager to take revenge on what Taehyung had experienced before. It seems like what the two people did to Taehyung was very dangerous because the vampire was suffering from pain. Jimin doesn't know what's going on, but he's very much against this kind of torture. Taehyung did not do anything harmful to others as a vampire, therefore Taehyung should not be bullied and persecuted so.

“If at that time you do not need to come to disturb my business.” said Woobin misgivings to Jimin. He certainly did not forget how Jimin punched him.

Jimin is very upset, he will give the calculation of two people who have molested his friend. Jimin moved quickly towards Woobin and Xiumin. The two vampires ran away and Jimin chased after him.

“Jimin!!!” taehyung cried frantically to see Jimin who ran after the two vampires. Unable to do anything else, Taehyung ran after them.

Jungkook gnashed confused. What else is going on?

Woobin and Xiumin deliberately ran away from the crowded place. They were unlikely to fight in public places and many people. Woobin and Xiumin ran towards the deserted unused building. A kind of dead-end alley with uninhabited old buildings. In a place like this it would be safer if Woobin and Xiumin wanted to beat up Taehyung and Jimin.

“You will make me regret for hurting my best friend!!” jimin shouted, not panting at all running fast after the two vampires to get here.

“Nice.” said Woobin gave a smirk, quite satisfied because he was sure this place was quiet, no one.

A few moments later Taehyung also came. He was very afraid of what would happen. He's never seen Jimin this angry. What is severe is that faced by his friend are two adult vampires, there is no way Jimin can defeat the two vampires.

“Jimin, let's go.” Taehyung said in a clear tone, holding his best friend's arm.

Jimin moved his arm away from Taehyung's grip. “I want to teach these two people a lesson, Tae.”

Xiumin snorted and threw spit onto the floor. No longer want to be stale. “Let's prove what you said, little boy.”

Jimin immediately ran over the two vampires. He thought he could defeat the two with his strength, as he remembered earlier he had managed to save Taehyung and hit one of them. Yet today it looked different, the two vampires easily dodged from his fists. Their movements were very fast, Jimin did not know what style the two people were doing.

“You are too young if you want to fight us.” said Woobin then hit Jimin's stomach.

The blow was so powerful and powerful. Blood came straight out of Jimin's mouth, and he felt it in his stomach like it was torn.

“Jimin!!” taehyung panicked. He ran crying towards his friend but Xiumin first confronted him by kicking at the baby vampire's feet, making Taehyung fall hard to the floor.

“Baby vampire fool.” Xiumin said satisfied to see his opponent had fallen.

Jimin looked back to see how Taehyung was being played by Xiumin. His friend's hand was trampled by the shoes Xiumin had worn.

“Bastard!!” jimin said, his eyes were already reddened from holding back the overflowing anger on his chest. He was about to attack Xiumin but Woobin pulled his arm back and punched him hard in the jaw. Jimin fell to the floor.

Taehyung groaned in pain as his hands were stepped on by Xiumin. And what did these two vampires do to her? Will he be attacked using silver plates again?

Jimin tried to stand up, he was not a typical who would give up on opponents just like that. But again Woobin kicked his stomach and punched him twice.

“Jimin!!” isak Taehyung saw the condition of his best friend whose cheeks and nose were bleeding. The baby vampire was crying, cursing at her so weak and helpless. Even when his friend was in danger, he could do nothing. It's depressing. He never wanted this to happen. He never wanted to see his friend get hurt.

“It turns out just a stupid human friend.” ketus Woobin looking at Jimin who has been lying on the floor. Woobin took out a folding knife from his pants pocket. “It's been quite a joke. I'll show you who I really am.”

“Andwae!!” taehyung exclaimed to see how Woobin pulled out a knife and then with his other hand he grabbed Jimin by the hair, pulling his head up from the floor.

“Don't mess with vampires.” whispered Woobin with a scary smile on Jimin. Woobin's eyes changed to a deep blue color, his original eyes. Jimin was unable to fight back, Woobin's punch had made him helpless.

Woobin licks lips looking at the blood on Jimin's face. Maybe he will also suck the blood of this human as a souvenir.

There was a great anger inside Taehyung. Seeing how Woobin had hurt Jimin and was getting ready to slit his friend's throat. He never wanted this to happen. He always told her he wanted to protect his friends. It doesn't matter if he's the one who's hurt, but he's not his friend.

Both Taehyung's hands were shaking on the floor. He no longer felt any pain even though Xiumin was trampling his back. Whether strength came from where, Taehyung got up and threw Xiumin's foot on him.

In a split second, he immediately grabbed Xiumin's leg, twisting it to make the vampire scream in pain as he felt Taehyung's strength begin to crush the bones in his leg.

Taehyung is not like Taehyung usually. His expression right now was too sinister. He gave a grin as if enjoying how the sound of bones heard from Xiumin's legs mixed with the vampire's scream of pain. One of Taehyung's eyes was abnormal, a deep white like a ghost while the other eye was colored like a normal human.

“Aaaackkk!!” scream Xiumin. He didn't think that a baby vampire could be like this, like having monster powers. Taehyung pokes satisfied to see Xiumin in pain.

“Xiumin!!” Woobin was shocked to see what was happening, so quickly the conditions had turned around.

Woobin runs towards Taehyung to attack him, but Taehyung is faster. In a split second, he threw Xiumin down, threw the vampire on the floor, then turned around and confronted Woobin. Like nothing, Taehyung held back Woobin's hand holding a knife. With his strength he squeezed Woobin's wrist making the vampire scream because Taehyung was breaking his bones easily. There was the sound of broken bones accompanied by the cry of Woobin.

Jimin, who was on the floor, held his breath seeing what was happening. Taehyung is so different now. He was so scary, one of his eyes was white. And that evil smirk doesn't belong to the Taehyung he knows.

“You said not to play around with vampires?” tukas Taehyung quietly with a mocking grin, “Now look who's in pain, hmm?”

Taehyung strangled Woobin's neck, lifting his body into the air. Woobin's face was pale and blue. Surely Taehyung can do the same thing to his neck as his already broken wrist.

“Still consider me a baby vampire, eoh?” tukas Taehyung grinned enjoying seeing the expression of his opponent in pain.

Jimin gulped, horrified at the sight. “Tae..”

Jungkook stood glued behind the wall to see what happened. His eyes were wide as if he were seeing a ghost.

He had arrived a minute ago and was shocked to see the scene before his eyes. He saw how Taehyung broke his opponent's legs and hands easily like breaking a twig. How Taehyung strangled his opponent while saying that he did not want to be considered a baby vampire.
