Vampire Curse

Jungkook has been in front of his laptop. It had been thirty minutes that he had spent just stringing sentences together in one email. Type and then delete again. Type, delete again. Keep it that way over and over again. Jungkook tries to create a message that is not too flashy but easily accepted.

His breathing is irregular. The body was a little cold. There was a battle inside him. There was a part of him telling him to do it immediately, solve this problem. But there was a part of him that forbade him to do so, accusing him of being a traitor.

Jungkook is typing an email message into the hunter's headquarters, reporting the presence of vampires in Seoul. Jungkook does not understand why he should feel guilty and very anxious just because he wants to report Taehyung to the vampire headquarters. Isn't this doing good? He could have just reported it to his uncle but he didn't want to do it. Jungkook does not want to hurt Taehyung more than he has done before. Perhaps by reporting to the hunter's headquarters, he could feel a little neutral. If the hunter headquarters were to publish his email, then that was fate right?

Jungkook stared at the screen, reading the final message he made :

From: jjk_jeon@mail.com

Subject: vampire detected

Message :

I suspect there's a vampire at Seoul University disguised as a student. If interested, please do a scanning of the campus. Suspicion for personal reasons.

Jungkook bit his lip, he deliberately added the last sentence to make this email ignored by the headquarters because actually Jungkook did not really want to trap Taehyung. But he's still doing it now so he doesn't betray his parents too much. If fate wills, then Taehyung will be caught as a vampire. If not, Jungkook can't be friends with Taehyung anymore.

Jungkook blew his breath out loud. He has to take heart and not worry. With that Jungkook press the button ‘SEND’.

The routine is back to normal. College, assignment, college.

Jungkook did not comment when Taehyung entered the class that morning, not trying to look at him at all, the vampire chose an empty bench that was quite far away from Jungkook. Jungkook actually thought Taehyung would still beg him to be his friend, convincing him that Taehyung was not a monster.

Jungkook smiled thinly. It seems Taehyung has given up and will not try to convince her again?

Taehyung just looked down, waiting for the lecturer to come to start the lecture. Last night he decided to keep his distance from Jungkook, because that's what Jungkook seems to need. Taehyung no longer has a place in Jungkook's heart because of his hatred of vampires.

When the lecture is over, Taehyung must get used to 3 humans who often extort and disturb him: Jaewook, Bohyun and Geunwon. And as usual Jungkook did not help him, just passing through.

“This time the money is less than yesterday..” Jaewook said while counting the money in Taehyung wallet.

“Why? Are you afraid of losing money?” knock Bohyun while punching Taehyung's arm softly.

Taehyung did not answer and tried to avoid eye contact with the men. Why are there also humans who always act arbitrarily and oppress without reason?

“Besok bring more money,” said Geunwon while throwing a wallet into Taehyung's face, “OK?”

Jaewook gave a grin to Geunwon. “And remember, do not try to report yes. Or you'll we brush.”

“Geurre, geurre,” said Bohyun patting sweetened Taehyung on the head, “Solve your own problems with gentle. If you do not like our attitude please fight us, we will gladly serve.”

The three men laughed and left Taehyung alone. The vampire is still down. The money? He doesn't need the money. The hyunga can give a lot. But this scar on his heart still did not heal.

Jungkook stood outside, behind the classroom door, hearing from earlier what the men had done to Taehyung. His hands were clenched in annoyance. Why didn't Taehyung defend himself? Why don't the vampires just turn horrible and break their bones? The three humans deserve the consequences of blackmailing a vampire! But instead Taehyung looked weak so, not resisting, letting himself continue to be blasphemed.

Jaewook, Bohyun and Geunwon came out of the classroom still laughing. The three of them took the road to the right of the class, not seeing any Jeon Jungkook on the left of the class looking at them awkwardly. Jungkook tries to control himself not to interfere in the affair. After all he and Taehyung are not chingu anymore right?

Jungkook hurried to leave the place.

Seokjin and Soojung are having dinner together. After returning home from college, Seokjin invites her lover to eat while spending time together. The two are no longer aware of the vampire-human relationship. Soojung doesn't care that the person she loves is a vampire. Seokjin makes her always happy and that's enough for Soojung.

Soojung was reading a message on her phone when Seokjin was picking up a menu. Soojung gets a message from Jungkook asking for her whereabouts because Jungkook invited her brother to eat together.

What a coincidence, Soojung thought.

“Oppa, do you mind if my sister comes to eat with us now?” ask Soojung.

Seokjin raised her face and gave the woman a smile. “Of course not. This might also be a chance for me to meet your sister.”

“It just so happened that he took me out to eat so I figured if he should join us if you don't mind.”

“I don't mind at all. I was looking forward to meeting him.”

Soojung gave a long grin. “Okay then, I'll give this location to her.”

Seokjin nodded. He really wants to know his only beloved sister. Soojung is her lover and her lover's sister will definitely be her sister as well.

“Then I will order 3 sets for us.”

“Oke.” Soojung said then busy typing messages on mobile.

Ten minutes later Jeon Jungkook arrived at that place. She was quite astonished that her brother was not alone, seemingly together with a lover? If you knew so Jungkook would definitely refuse to come. She doesn't want to be a mosquito repellent in the middle of a dating couple.

“Finally my handsome sister came..” said Soojung with a big smile on Jungkook.

“Hallo..” greet Seokjin friendly looking at Jungkook. It turns out that Jungkook does not have any resemblance to his brother, although Jungkook is handsome and charming just like his brother.

“This is Jeon Jungkook, my sweet sister, Oppa.” said Soojung introduced his sister to the lover.

Seokjin was a bit dumbfounded upon hearing that name. Jungkook Jeon? Didn't he hear that name when Taehyung told him about his college friend?

“Jungkook, introduce this Seokjin, my lover.” said Soojung with a shy smile on his sister, “He is a lecturer at our campus, Kook.”

“Oh?” Jungkook was quite amazed because even his brother was dating a college lecturer. Daebak! If you see the lecturer looks young, usually the lecturer who is known to Jungkook is old like a Professor or at least his age is above 35 years. But Seokjin seems to be a long way from that huh. (it's almost 100 years woy!)

Seokjin gave a smile back at Jungkook who was observing him. If Jungkook is Taehyung's best friend then Jungkook should be in the same department as his dongsaeng. “Jungkook lectures in what majors?”

“Chemical engineering.” sahut Jungkook.

Bingo! Jungkook is Taehyung's friend. Seokjin's smile grew wider. He is very happy if it turns out that Soojung's sister is a friend of Taehyung. It's a good sign. They can be a very harmonious family. Seokjin felt this was fate!

Seokjin wanted to tell Jungkook right then and there that Taehyung was his sister! But Seokjin undo his intentions, maybe he should pretend not to know first and let Jungkook know for himself.

“Your brother has told me that you are a brilliant student in the class.” said Seokjin.

Jungkook glanced at his brother, not knowing how much information Soojung had told him about her. “I'm just a regular student kok.”

Seokjin gave another smile. He also remembered that Jungkook helped Taehyung a lot in college. Seokjin was very grateful because there was a person like Jungkook at Taehyung's side.

“What is your hobby, Jungkook?”

“Boxing.”

Seokjin chuckled and Soojung only gidded at her sister's answer.

“I told you that my sister is very happy to exercise. Just look at his muscles.”

“For sure I will direct KO if against you Jungkook.” said Seokjin half-jokingly. Of course not, right? Vampires must be stronger and faster than ordinary humans.

Jungkook just put his shoulders down. Along with that, the waiter came to bring food to their table. The three continued chatting while eating. Jungkook is grateful because he doesn't feel lonely there. Seokjin kindly always involved him in every conversation. His brother was too. It seems the couple chose to chat and spend time with Jungkook instead of chatting romance or privacy.

Jimin moved his legs in agitation. He sat on the bed, just received an incoming call from Yoon-gi. Jimin was quite surprised actually because the dhampir called him. And Jimin is surprised when Yoon-gi talks about Taehyung, saying that Taehyung seems to be having trouble with their friend Jeon Jungkook.

Jimin knows that there is something between Jungkook and Taehyung. Jungkook is no longer with Taehyung at rest. Although Taehyung always says Jungkook has to go to the library but Jimin is not that easy to lie. It's weird if Jungkook goes to the library while Taehyung doesn't. Are they both a class?

These few days Taehyung's face was not very excited. His smile was too forced. His laughter is discordant and Taehyung often daydreams blankly. Jimin never thought that the problems faced by his two friends were very serious. But why and about what?

Jimin tried to call Jungkook because he wanted to ask him right now. But Jungkook's phone is off. “Aish, Jeon Jungkook is doing what the hell!”

Jimin must know what really happened, because Jungkook does not usually behave like this.

Taehyung opened his locker that afternoon to pick up a lecture book. When he was about to take, he saw that there was a card in the top pile of books. He picked it up and was surprised to see the familiar card. This card is a vampire card, a card he once gave to Jungkook. Favorite card number one!

Taehyung's eyes widened and his hands trembled holding the card. Did Jungkook give it back? So Jungkook really wants to break up their relationship forever. It's so sad. Taehyung restrained his eyes to not tear up.

There was another card on top of the book pile. Taehyung took it and saw that the writing on the card was Jungkook's own. The card reads :

Tomorrow at eight o'clock at night, come to XX Building on XX Street.

Taehyung could not help it and his tears were dripping as well. He didn't think the problem would be over with the meeting. Maybe it was their last encounter, maybe Jungkook wanted to say goodbye for the last time.

Taehyung closed his eyes and hit his head against the locker door. It's very sad. He's very pathetic.

From a distance, Jungkook noticed Taehyung. He did not expect the vampire to cry again just because the vampire card was returned. But Jungkook did not want to keep Taehyung's stuff anymore. He really needs to end it.

Actually Jungkook got a message from the vampire headquarters, asking him to trap the vampire in question so that it can be captured or checked for truth by the hunter. And Jungkook also mentioned the same place and time as he wrote for Taehyung.

Tomorrow.Taehyung will be captured by the hunter.
