Itachi heard a scream from a nearby house. He frowned and immediately ran towards that shout.

Itachi reached his destination and entered a house. He saw blood painted everywhere on the walls of the house. The bodies of the citizens were cut into pieces and parts of his body were scattered everywhere.

Itachi felt the inside of his stomach churn as he felt the urge to vomit. He had done many dirty deeds in Anbu and killed many people during this time. But never in his life did he see such a horrible way of killing.

Itachi calmed his nerves and held himself back from vomiting. He continued to inspect the house and reached the top floor.

Itachi was only able to vomit when he saw the girl's terrible state.

Itachi gripped the kunai tightly and thought about Izumi.

"Home's close. I can't let criminals attack him."

He immediately jumped out the window and ran towards Izumi's house.

Inside Izumi's house, Izumi,

Izumi shivered as she looked at the killer. The black-robed man licked his firefly, which was covered in blood, and looked at Izumi.

"Your turn now. I prefer the carbon content of children. It's very fresh and pure. Old grandma tastes disgusting."

Dina looked at the dismembered body of the old woman.

He spits his saliva.

"Openers ruin my mood. But the main course looks more appetizing."

Izumi lifelessly saw the corpse of her grandmother. His mother was on a mission and he had lost his father during the nine-tailed incident.

Izumi was alone in her home with her grandmother.

Izumi sobbed as she looked at her grandmother.

"Why?.. Why did you kill my grandmother?"

Izumi angrily looked at Dina.

He drew a kunai and ran towards Dina. Izumi activated the Sharingan and attacked him. He slashed his firefly at the killer.

Dina licked her tongue.

He easily fended off Izumi's kunai and grabbed her arm. He lifted Izumi up in the air with one hand and made a Carbon blade in the other.

"Let me enjoy my food."

He slashed the carbon blades towards Izumi.

Another Kunai blocked his attack.

"Oh!"

Dina was startled and turned towards the newcomer. Itachi blocks the attack and saves Izumi.

"Everything will be fine. I'm right here. Don't worry."

Izumi weakly looked at Itachi's back and nodded. His vision became blurred. A large amount of chakra churned in his body and entered into his eyes.

The tension from the chakras caused Izumi to faint. Itachi looked at Grandma's dismembered body. Anger covered his mind, but he did not let him control his senses.

'She is a member of Akatsuki. So, that means he is an S-Rank villain at least.'

Itachi stared at the pattern of red clouds on Dina's robe. Izuna has informed about the Akatsuki members.

'His name is not on the big brother list. That means he joined Akatsuki recently.

I have to fight carefully or I can lose my life. Then there's Izumi, I have to protect her too. He killed grandma and many other clan members; I had to stop him from slaughtering people again.

I have sent a signal to Anbu headquarters. It took a while until the backup arrived.'

A large amount of chakra churned in his body, and flowed into his eyes. Itachi gripped the kunai and made several signatures.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu"

Itachi spewed a giant fireball towards Dina.

The house turned into rubble from the explosion. He grabbed Izumi and jumped out of the house.

Dina walked unscathed from the fireball. There was a large black shield in front of him.

"Carbon Control: Black Diamond Shield"

Some smoke billowed from the shield, but there were no scratches on it. He formed a shield into a black solid construction. The solid substance entered his body.

"The human body is made of about 18% carbon. My ability allows me to manipulate carbon and use it in combat. I can also steal carbon from other people's bodies.

Now, give me your carbon."

Dina formed the black object into a knife and ran towards Itachi.

Itachi blocked the attack with his kunai.

"Are you stronger than a diamond?"

The blade sparkled and the firefly broke in two. Itachi jumped back and avoided the slash.

'He can freely manipulate the carbon in his body. He can form the carbon inside his body into a shield to block any attack or turn it into a weapon to attack. I've never seen him use carbon as a projectile. Maybe he's not capable of doing that.'

Itachi calmly analyzed Dina's technique.

'An ordinary metal weapon would have no effect on his weapon. But what about chakra?'

Dina ran towards the shadow clone.

Itachi fired many fireballs quickly towards Dina.

Dina clicked her tongue and made a giant shield to block the attack.

Itachi appeared behind Dina and pierced her body. Dina's eyes widened as she looked at the exhausted Itachi in front of her.

Itachi disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Shadow clone! Since when!"

Dina turned towards Itachi, who was behind her.

"The previous "shadow clone was a distraction. I made two shadow clones and used the jutsu 'Earth Style: Hiding like a Ground Rat' to sneak in.

You fell for my trap and gave me a chance. I'm taking advantage of this."

Dina spewed out a mouthful of blood.

"You caught me ... Just kidding ..."

Dina grinned and turned around. He coated his legs with carbon and kicked Itachi's stomach.

Itachi spat out a mouthful of blood and shot through several buildings.

The black gleam on Dina's leg faded and her neck cracked.

"Haha. When they thought they had won, but in the end, they fell into my trap."

Some blood leaked from his wound. Dina saw the wound,

"But first, let me handle this wound. The skin around the wound turns pitch black and covers the wound completely.

I believe I coated my skin with hardened carbon to block the attack, but this kid's jutsu was able to pierce through my hardened carbon shell.

He made me bleed and vomit a mouthful of blood. I had to tear him apart bit by bit and return the favor."

Dina wiped the blood from her mouth and looked at Itachi.

Dina made a knife using 'Carbon Control'. He licked his blade and slowly walked towards Itachi.

"Let me unload your body and take out all your carbon."

Dina disappeared in a blurry manner.

He smashed a carbon blade near Itachi's head.

Itachi quickly dodged the attack and immediately made a few signatures.

Inside the house of Izuna.

A robed figure entered the room and noticed Aiko who was sleeping. He quietly walked towards her.

The robed man lifted the kunai and stabbed towards him.

Mendeering…

Another kunai blocked the attack. The cloaked figure turned around to look at the defender.

"Not so fast."

Akira blocked the kunai from the cloaked figure with his own. Aiko jumped back and made some signatures.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu" (A/N:- what can I do? I like this jutsu.:)

The explosion…

The jutsu smashed the roof, and made the cloaked man walk out of the house.

"Fix me. I recently paid a remuneration fee for it. Now I have to fix it again." Aiko complained.

"Aiko, this is not the time for that. There's an enemy at our doorstep. We have to face it." Akira reminded Aiko.

"Yes, the Izuna barrier warned us about the intruder. My Izuna is a genius." Aiko praised Izuna.

The two jumped out of the house and faced the cloaked man.

"Who are you? What's your motive behind this assassination attempt?" Akira frowned and looked at the killer.

They heard a huge explosion in one corner of the clan district.

Another explosion shocked them.

"It looks like our Uchiha clan is under attack. Whoever you are, you won't stay alive after this effort."

Akira infused chakra in his bracelet. A long knife appeared in his hand. He infused chakra in his blade and attacked the killer.

Aiko makes several signatures, and her body disappears on Sakura's petals.
