INTERROGATIONS

Izuna was packing her luggage with her family. Their home survived the Nine-Tails attack, but they had to move to a new location.

Izuna took out a lot of her luggage and made some signatures and kept them in scrolls.

'Cover Technique'

"Geez! It's too comfortable Izuna-chan." Fumiko looked at Izuna in amazement.

Izuna scratched her head and replied,

"I learned the Fuinjutsu Technique from the Fourth Hokage and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki," Izuna replied with a sad expression.

The mood turned grim. Akira, Yagami, Aiko, Fumiko, and Shisui silently stared at Izuna.

Anbu blinked and appeared in front of Izuna.

"Vice Captain! Hokage-sama has called you. Please follow me to the Hokage Office."

Anbu whispered to Izuna. Izuna blinked towards the Hokage Office and the Anbu members followed her.

Inside the Hokage's office, the,

Hiruzen sat on the table with his eyes closed. Danzo, Koharu, and Homura stood in front of him.

"Hiruzen, I want to watch the interrogation. I just want to hear the details of what happened." demands Danzo.

"We'll also watch the interrogation." Koharu and Homura stated.

"Danzo, that kid didn't commit a crime. He is a trusted member of Anbu who has risen the ranks with his abilities. Reaching the Vice-Captain Rank within a year showed his talent and skill.

You don't have to be skeptical about him. He has been very close to Minato and Kushina since childhood. I don't doubt the credibility of his words." Hiruzen defended Izuna.

"Hiruzen, the Nine-Tailed Attack involved many Uchiha clans. You want me to believe that this incident didn't involve the boy.

I have checked his attendance records in the Village. For the past three months, he had been far away from the village. Right before the Nine-Tails attack he had miraculously appeared out of nowhere.

He even survived the attack on the Nine-Tails, which killed the Fourth Hokage and his wife. Do you want me to believe the story?"

Danzo survives.

"Good! I will call Inoichi from the Yamanaka clan to monitor the boy. He would easily find lies mixed in the truth." Hiruzen agreed with Danzo.

"No, it's not gonna work. He is Captain Anbu. He specializes in the collection and disposal of information. Tell Inoichi to use the 'Psycho Mind Transmission' technique from their clan to get inside the child's subconscious and search for his memory. I'll do it." send one of my Root members to extract information from the boy." Danzo added another condition.

"Danzo, your actions may make us distrustful. Are you sure you want to do something like that?" hiruzen Questions.

"I will go as far as possible for the village. This is a serious matter. Many villagers lost their lives. I won't sit idly by in this situation." Danzo continued.

"Yes, Hiruzen! Danzo is right about this. We agree with him, it is better to take some necessary precautions than to bet on the circumstances. Also, we hope that as Vice-Captain Anbu, he will understand the seriousness of the matter. " Koharu and Homura agreed with Danzo.

Hiruzen rubbed his forehead and sighed,

"Alright, I agree to your terms. I just hope it won't make us distrust the Uchiha clan."

In a separate room, though,

Izuna arrives with the Anbu members. The Anbu members explained many things to Izuna.

"Vice Captain! You are aware of the recent developments. You are the only survivor of the attack who knows the information of the culprit.

Hokage-gama! Just want to ask you a few questions about the incident? We are expecting your cooperation."

Izuna looked at the surrounding Anbu members and nodded to them.

"It's okay. I will obey. Nothing is hidden in this situation."

"Please, Vice-Captain!" The Anbu members brought Izuna into a sealed room with a seat in the middle.

Izuna sat down on the chair and closed her eyes and patiently waited for Hiruzen's arrival. A few minutes later, Hiruzen along with the other elders and Inoichi Yamanaka arrived inside the room. Other members of the Konoha Torture and Interrogation Force followed them closely.

"Izuna Uchiha, I do not doubt your credibility and service. It was just that the recent events had a tremendous impact on the Village. I hope your cooperation." Hiruzen walked in front of Izuna and spoke to her.

Izuna nodded her head and replied,

"All right! Let's start with the details of the Nine-Tails attack." Hiruzen asked Izuna.

"Narrate the whole series of events for us."

Izuna recounted the entire incident involving the Nine-Tails. How Minato used the 'Reaper Death Seal' to seal the Nine-Tails. How he used the 'Eight Trigrams Seal' to create a new Naruto jinchuruki. How the Nine-Tails are in a fight to save themselves Minato and Kushina are severely injured.

Hiruzen looked towards Inoichi, who nodded his head. Hiruzen continued, though,

"Can you describe the characteristics of the attacker? You must be facing them?"

"The attacker used space-time ninjutsu to break through the barrier. He was wearing a one-eyed white mask with some markings. He took Kyubi out of Kushina and attacked the village." Izuna explained.

"That's not all the details yet, I'm sure you know more." Danzo interrupts interrogation.

"Yes, there's another detail, but it's irrelevant to the Nine-Tails attack." Izuna calmly replied to Danzo.

"In that case, can you explain those additional details? We are interested to hear all the details" Danzo stressed the issue.

"If you really want to hear them, then listen. A powerful entity attacked us as we fought the Nine-Tails. He easily shattered our barrier by flicking his finger and pushed back the combined strength of Minato, Kushina, and me.

The target is me for some unknown reason. He caught me and flew away from the village. I somehow escaped his grasp thanks to my ability. And you know the next series of events. Also, I'm sure some of you must have felt a huge wave of Chakras.

That is the chakra of that entity. I'd rather advise you all to be prepared to deal with it than to play a game of politics and power." Izuna looked towards Danzo and sneered.

"Izuna, if it's okay with you then can you allow Inoichi Yamanaka to enter your subconscious and allow him to convey that chain of events to us." Hiruzen asked.

"I will only pass on important information about the attack. I will hide all my secrets and jutsu. If you agree with my condition, then you can proceed." Izuna stated her condition.

"All right! I don't have a problem with your condition." Hiruzen nodded his head.

Inoichi slowly enters Izuna's subconscious mind. Izuna sorts out all her memories of the Nine-Tails attack and presents them to Inoichi, who conveys them to others using a special device.

"So, that's. Now, we have an important clue regarding this matter. Konoha will not stay silent and find the perpetrators of the attack." Hiruzen clenched his fists in anger.

"I'm not satisfied." Danzo interrupts Hiruzen and signals to his Root members.

The Root member walked over to Izuna and placed his hand on Izuna's head and entered her mind together with Inoichi.

"Danzo, stop. It'll weigh on the boy's consciousness." Hiruzen tried to stop Danzo.

Within Izuna's subconscious, the Root members forcibly tried to break down all the mental barriers and obstacles.

'I have to get the information needed by Danzo-Sama. Danzo-sama wants me to uncover all the secrets of this child. I got this opportunity, I will not spare a bit of information. I have to scavenge all his secrets.'

Before the Root members could interfere any further, a pair of large Sharingans appeared in Izuna's subconscious mind. Other purple and blue eyes appeared with the Sharingan.

'Genjutsu: Damage to the Five Indra'

The Sharingan gives off a powerful genjutsu on the Root member. Root members are on the counterattack. His body slowly drooped on the ground.

Foaming foam from his mouth and blood coming out of his eyes, ears, and nose. He lay on the ground and his body twitched uncontrollably.

Even Inoichi suffered a backlash, but his condition was much better. Inoichi's entire body was covered in sweat and heavy pants.

'What was that? Fortunately, it was not addressed to me or I would suffer the same fate as this person.'

Inoichi heaved a sigh of relief and looked at the moving Root members. Immediately, the two Root members beside Danzo blinked in front of Anbu Root and took him with them.

One of them walked towards Danzo and quietly passed on some information.

Ck…

Danzo silently clicked his tongue. Anger was clearly visible on his face.

"What does this mean?" Danzo yells at Izuna.

"You have permanently wounded the mind of one of my Root elites. What reason do you have for your crime?" He continued.

"This Root Member tried to break my secrets and techniques despite my warnings. He got a backlash from my mental block in his efforts. If you want to blame someone, blame them. I'm innocent in this matter." Izuna replied without looking at Danzo.

"I Hope You've got your answer. I have things I have to deal with. I'll go." Izuna continued.

Hiruzen nodded at him.

Izuna stood up and blinked away from the Interrogation Room. Danzo clenched his fists and walked out of the room. His Root minions followed him.
