He swung the sword horizontally right in front of A's neck. A dodged the attack as he ducked, but he also lost the momentum of the attack. Sakumo immediately made some hand signals,

'Wind Release: Compression Bomb'

Sakumo launched compressed air from his mouth that hit box A on his chest and threw it backwards against his lightning robe and negated it. A was thrown backwards as he spun in the air, he immediately balanced his body as he stopped hovering.

“As expected of White Fang Konoha. You really are on a different level.”

Blue B praises Sakumo, as he begins to weave his signature,

'Light Release: Hard Lightning'

Blue B unleashed a bolt of lightning from both of his hands that moved towards Sakumo. Sakumo makes several signatures as he inserts his Chakra,

'Wind Release: Hard Wind Breakthrough'

The strong wind collided with the lightning jutsu and the two cancelled each other out. 

'Lightning Release: Double Lariat'

A and Killer B attack with their tag team jutsu as they both hit Sakumo, smashing it between their jutsu.

With a puff of white smoke, Sakumo disappeared from their attack.

'It turns out it's a Shadow clone.'

'Kenjutsu Style: Slash of the Executioner'

A large sword made of white chakra slashed horizontally towards A and Killer B. Both of them were hit by the attack, A blocked the attack for Killer B as it protected him with his body as most of the damage was dampened by his lightning robe. A cough up a lot of blood when he faints. A wounded internally, Killer B carried him to his shoulder.

Blue B put on a serious expression as he said,

"I have no choice but to use it or we might die here today."

A layer of dark red and almost black Chakra began to envelop Blue B. His muscle mass began to increase as two horns began to grow from his head. Blue-shaped diamonds could be seen around his eyes as the Chakra bone began to form on his left shoulder. He entered the Version 2 form of the tailed beast mode as Eight tails appeared on his back.

'Light Release: Lariat'

Sakumo sensed the danger he was facing as he quickly made a few signatures and slammed it to the ground.

'Call Jutsu'

The big, fat bulldog with a big bone in his mouth was summoned to the battlefield. The Bulldog felt the presence of Blue B charging as he spat out his bones that fell to the ground and widened. The two take cover behind the bone as Blue B hits the bone.

Explosions

Dust and debris rose as Blue B collided with the bones. Blue B was thrown back from the recoil as he felt dizzy and fell to the ground. No damage to the bones, not even a dent.

"This is the femur of our Old sage Ancestor, who just died. He left this bone as a parting gift for me. It can't be hurt by you Eight-Tails."

The big bulldog mocked Blue B. Blue B opened his mouth wide as black and blue bubbles of chakra were released from his body. The chakra bubbles begin to fuse as they form a highly volatile ball of compressed chakra.

'Dirt! Its bad. We have to get as far away from this as possible.' Both the bulldog and Sakumo thought the same thing.

Wussssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss 

The tailed monster bomb moved at an extremely fast speed as it whizzed through the air and collided with the bones. 

Explosions

An extremely powerful explosion occurred when Sakumo and his dog ninja were thrown by the force of the impact. Sakumo collapsed from the shock wave released by the explosion. The bone blocked the explosion without any dents on it. It shrank and returned to the bulldog that brought the unconscious Sakumo towards Konoha.

On the other side of the explosion, the chakra mode version 2 of Blue B begins to fade as Blue B returns to its human form. The use of the tailed beast mode had been exhausting and damaging to his body, Blue B felt dizzy as his vision blurred. He staggered back and fell unconscious on the ground.

Shortly thereafter, Killer B arrived at the scene and was shocked to see a large trench carved into the forest that at one point split into two separate narrow canyons. He walked towards Blue B and examined his body. Ensuring the safety of Blue B, Killer B heaved a sigh of relief.

"Stupid! Yes Stupid! The explosion was so cool. Now I'm stuck here with two fools who lost their composure.” He brought A and Blue B towards Kumogakure. 

After a week, return to the village at the Hokage's office,

Hiruzen skimmed through the mission report as he looked at Sakumo Hatake. Sakumo I never expected you to fail the mission. The Fire Nation suffered heavy losses as the value of the Chakra ore was very high and most importantly fell into the hands of Kumogakure.

This will be a problem for us because Kumo has strengthened their military power and the amount of ore that Chakra can arm them from head to toe. The other members of his team stood still there without responding. They all blame the mission's failure on Sakumo as they are ready to sacrifice their lives but are ordered to retreat by their Team Leader Sakumo. Sakumo sighed as he gloomily left the Hokage's office. 

Various rumors began to spread in the village that increasingly defame his good name. Sakumo stopped taking any missions for a while because he was just wandering around without life in the village. Kakashi is worried about his father but is powerless to do anything.

A year passed in the blink of an eye. 

Sakumo had stopped practicing and as a result, his skills began to decline. This morning, Sakumo comes to the street market as thoughts of suicide haunt his mind. The muttering of the villagers echoed in his ears as he blamed himself for the mission's failure. He fails the mission, he fails the village, he fails as a shinobi and also he fails as a father because he cannot meet Kakashi's expectations. He is not the ideal father for his son as people are beginning to refer to Kakashi as a failed child.

His path of thought was cut off when an Uchiha boy approached the bench. The boy held a hot Takoyaki in his hand and was looking for a seat. I lifted my head to look at the boy. The boy also looked at me and he looked surprised to see me.

Izuna was shocked when she saw Sakumo in front of her.

'Wait, isn't that Sakumo Hatake, Kakashi's father. I don't understand, how is he still alive? Maybe it was the butterfly effect caused by my presence. But looking at him now, it seemed like something had still not changed. Well, I was cooped up all the time in the Uchiha clan and was unaware of the news. He seems to be at his breaking point, I have to console him and stop him from committing suicide.'

"Hello, Uncle Sakumo!"

I politely bowed to her as I greeted her. Sakumo was confused to hear me greet him. In confusion, he asked,

“Do I know you, Son?”

Izuna expected such a question as she replied,

“You may not know about me, but I know you very well. You are my hero Uncle Sakumo. You are my idol and when I grow up I want to be a great Ninja like you.”

“Eh!” Sakumo was surprised when the boy called him a hero and an idol. He asked the boy, though,

“I failed in the village. I failed the mission given to me by the village and the village suffered great losses. How am I still your ideal?

"No! I don't know about those things. But for me, you are the hero who saved my parents' lives five years ago. If not for your timely help, I would be an orphan now just like I would have done….I will ....”

I started sobbing while pretending to cry. Sakumo immediately comforted me,

“Don't worry son, your parents are fine. They will feel worried if you cry..”.

Sakumo stopped as he regained consciousness, 

'If I die, Kakashi will be like this child. Isn't he worried about me? Didn't she also cry in sorrow over the loss of her parents? No, I can't take this step. I have to stop for Kakashi.'

I see the change is Sakumo's expression. His depressive expression disappeared as he recovered from his own reproach. He just needs a final push. So, I spoke with the most sincere smile I could produce,

“I don't want you to stop Uncle Sakumo. I'm sure you'll save a lot of kids from being orphans. People may not understand your actions, but when they will return home and see their children smiling at them, they will realize it.”

Sakumo was stunned when he heard such deep words from this child. 

'This kid is very smart and sharp. His knowledge and IQ far surpassed his age. I'm sure he'll be a great man in the future far beyond the likes of me. I have to coach this boy.'

“What's your name boy?” Sakumo asked Izuna.

"My name is Izuna Uchiha."

Izuna sat on the bench as she started chewing Takoyaki. He offered it to Sakumo but Sakumo shook his head as he said,

“Eat and grow well son. For now, I have to go somewhere, if you want to train and grow stronger like me, then meet me after a month.”

I was surprised when I heard this. Trained by ninjas who are much stronger than Sannin will shorten my practice time because he will train me more efficiently.”

“Uncle, why one month from now?”

Sakumo laughed as he replied,

“Because for next month, I have to train myself because I feel tired.”

Sakumo disappears from Izuna's sight as she disappears with renewed vigor.
