DIFFICULT CHOICE PART - 2

Sakumo's team continues to pursue enemy ninjas detected earlier by Jounin's sensors. Seeing that they were not going anywhere, Sakumo applied some wind chakra to his feet and blinked towards the fleeing enemy. His speed increased drastically when Sakumo saw the back of the ninja.

Ninja sensed Sakumo's arrival as he turned around and looked at Sakumo. The enemy ninja panicked and increased his speed. Sakumo also increased his speed to its limit and closed the gap between the two.

Sakumo throws Shuriken towards the enemy ninja who is lodged on the ninja's back. With a puff of smoke, enemy ninjas were replaced by wooden beams. Sakumo took out his White Chakra Sword as he prepared to attack the enemy.

'Water Release: Water Bullet'

Water bullets launched towards Sakumo. Sakumo inserts the Chakra into his Chakrana Blade and slashes the Jutsu. He was able to find the enemy's location from the previous attack as he immediately made a signature.

'Earth Style: Avalanche'

Sakumo slams his hand to the ground, vibrations propagate across the earth as the earth near the enemy ninja shakes and he loses his balance and gets trapped in a jutsu. Sakumo approaches the enemy ninja as he prepares for a surprise attack. A kunai was thrown towards Sakumo as Sakumo blocked him with his Chakranya blade and made a few more signatures.

'Earth Style: Mud Prison'

Cages made of mud covered the area and trapped enemy ninjas. Meanwhile, the other Sakumo Team members also arrived at the location. They all surround the prison as Sakumo moves towards the prison to interrogate the enemy. 

They were all shocked when the enemy turned out to be a member of the Border Patrol Force. They had found their spy, Sakumo prepared to interrogate the spy but the spy took out a scroll from his bulletproof jacket. The scroll was full of paper bombs. The spy made a signature and inserted his chakra into the scroll. Scroll bombs and chakra are ignited as blinding light engulfs them.

'Earth Style: Mud wall'

Explosions

A powerful explosion occurred that blew the surrounding area and made a crater at the spy site. The spy blew himself up along with a clue to the enemy.

“It looks like he set an explosive trap inside the cave. He followed us to ensure our death in that explosion.”

One of the Jounin speculated on the possibility of spying. Sakumo agreed with the jounin as he spoke,

“Come back to camp. We have lost our lead, we have to scout the nearest area again to get another edge.”

They all returned to the camp and Sakumo told the Patrol Squad Captain about the spy. The captain was surprised to hear about the spy. He immediately called his other people and started checking them out. Leaving the Captain for his job, Sakumo took out a map and placed it on the table. He marked the area of the cave with a cross and began examining the map for other details.

The borders of the Hot Springs and the Land of Fire were nothing strange to them except a mountain range with barren rocks. He marked the mountain range in a circle and began to inspect the area. The distance between the mountain range and the cave was not too far away. Sakumo pondered for a moment but could not find anything. He closed the map and sighed, he should continue the search in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, the team regrouped. Sakumo spoke to the team, though,

“Let's check out the forest around the mountains. We will be divided into a team of three people.”

Sakumo divides the team into three, each team consists of 3 members. He decided to move on his own to scout the mountain area.

The three teams disbanded as they decided on a place to meet after two hours. Sakumo ran towards the mountains as he began to search for traces of enemies in the surroundings. After about an hour of searching, he felt some disturbance in the Chakra near one of the furthest mountains. 

Sakumo approached the mountains and stopped a few meters from the position of the chakra deployment. He checked the surroundings but there was no abnormality whatsoever. He decided to return to this place with his team as he ran towards the meeting place.

After two hours, Sakumo's team gathered near a mountain that was found suspicious by Sakumo. Jounin's sensor came out ahead and he made some signatures and put his hand on the ground,

'Hexagon Seal Sensing'

He sensed the Chakra for a while before a frown appeared on his face. Sakumo asked him, though,

Sensor Jounin nodded to Sakuma as he explained,

“It looks like there is a wide-scale Sensing Barrier surrounding this area. I could also feel the genjutsu barrier and some silencing seals placed near the barrier. I'm not sure but I also felt a very strong Chakra within the barrier. Also…"

Sensor-Jounin swallowed his saliva as he continued,

“...it looks like people with strong Chakras feel our presence.”

“What are we waiting for? Hurry up and enter the barrier to scout the area. The enemy is already aware of our presence and we should not give them a chance to prepare. ”

The experienced Jounin reprimanded others as they hurriedly entered without permission in the barrier. They were shocked when they entered the area. Sakumo's team is trapped in a genjutsu as they enter the barrier, aware of the previous situation, they eliminate the genjutsu as they move forward.

The team was surprised to see various mining carts lined up with Chakra ore and various workers were busy mining in the area.

'Light Style: Lightning Bullet Bomb'

They were greeted by a huge ball of blue lightning heading towards them. They all jumped back and dodged the jutsu. The lightning jutsu hit the ground and created a small crater as small sparks of lightning flashed in the area.

All Konoha ninja use their Kunai as they get ready for the Battle. The dust from the previous attack was settled when they saw a man facing them.

The man had long hair in two shades of green and white with matching eyebrows. He had a diamond-shaped purple mark on the right side of his face. The man wore standard Kumogakure shinobi clothing including a bulletproof jacket, over a long-sleeved V-neck outfit with bandages underneath, and carried a fairly long sword strapped to his back.

Sakumo immediately recognized the man as the 'Blue B of the Eight-Tailed'. He was immediately on alert when he told his team about the situation. More and more Kumo Ninjas besiege them as another man appears alongside Blue B.

The man was dark-skinned and muscular, blond hair combed back and a small beard on his chin. His face had prominent cheekbones and a basin of tears under his eyes and a protruding crease on his forehead. She has pointed canine teeth and her upper lip has a darker hue than the lower one.

This man was A, the son of Third Raikage A, and another powerful jounin who was at the same level as Kage.

"Stupid! Yes Stupid! I'm a Very Cool Kumo B Killer! Yes!”

A teenage boy with dark skin, a muscular body, and long white hair styled was combed backwards and tied with his forehead protector arrived next to A. He wore oval-shaped glasses and one strap over another Kumogakure bulletproof jacket with a white scarf tied around his neck.

“Kakak Yes! These Konoha fools will fall before I calm down! You idiot! Yes Stupid!”

Killer B, foster brother and tag A teammates. Sakumo had a grim expression on his face. The difficulty of the mission had increased a little.

“Our mission has changed from collecting information to retrieving Chakra ore stolen from Kumo Shinobi.” The experienced Jounin muttered to his teammates.

“We will not be able to complete the mission. We have to retreat.” Sakumo immediately announced to his teammates.

“This mission is more important than our lives. We can't let Kumo bring a large amount of Chakra ore back to their village.” Another Jounin chimed in and all the other members agreed with him on the matter.

“We will hold them Sakumo, you take the scroll and run back to the village. With your abilities, it won't be easy for them to chase and take the reels off of you. We will sacrifice ourselves for this mission.” Experienced jounin advises Sakumo.

“No, this will not work. I'm the leader of your team, listen to me. Retreat to the village, while I hold them. Your life is more important.” Without waiting for their answer, Sakumo attacked the three Kumo Shinobi.

The other Sakumo Team members stared at Sakumo helplessly and retreated. Sakumo was their leader and thus their superior. Breaking his orders would lead to insubordination. They are not happy with their leaders decisions. It would be a great loss for the village to lose a large amount of Chakra ore.
