Izuna ran towards the sound of falling water. Soon, he reached near the source of the sound and saw a gigantic waterfall.

Izuna gaped at the scene and was immersed in its beauty for a while. The reflection of the sun creates a large rainbow at the top of the waterfall. Fresh wind flowed near the waterfall and he could feel his body revitalized near the waterfall.

"This is Natural Energy. My body passively absorbed a bit of Senjutsu energy and rejuvenated itself." Izuna took a deep breath and walked towards the waterfall.

He cupped his hands and gathered water from the river and tasted it.

"The water is so clear and it tastes so good. This view is so fascinating. This ... very ..."

"Beautiful, right?"

Izuna was interrupted by a sudden feminine voice. He turned around to look at the newcomer. He saw a two-tailed giant fox. Izuna raised her vigilance and alertly looked at the fox and prepared to engage in a fight.

"Silent. Relax, I'm not looking for a fight." The fox tried to calm Izuna down.

Izuna slightly relaxed her vigilance and questioned the fox,

"Who are you? Do you have a problem with me?"

"I'm Kurumi. One of the original inhabitants of the Shikkotsu forest. I am part of the Fox clan."

The fox introduced himself.

"Sorry to bother you before. That wasn't my intention."

The fox apologized.

"I was ordered by Lady Katsuyu to call you. Lady Katsuyu wants to chat with you." The fox told Izuna.

"Oh! So, Katsuyu finally remembered me. I have some questions to ask him. Lead the way."

Izuna responded to the fox. The fox walked towards one of the cave passageways. Izuna followed the fox while still keeping watch.

The fox kept bringing him into the cave. After a while, they exited the cave in a large open area. There are no big trees out there, just some vines and shrubs. The size of shrubs and vines easily scale a two-story or three-story building.

Izuna continued to follow the fox. He saw many slugs creeping. One of the smaller snails raised his head and greeted Izuna.

"Hello. Izuna-kun's. It's been a long time since we last met."

Izuna skeptically looked at the snail that was very similar to Katsuyu. He activated his Sharingan and checked his chakra Signature.

"Katsuyu, you are Katsuyu."

"Hello! Izuna-kun's. How are you?" Another giant snail greeted him.

Izuna turned her head and looked at the new snail.

"You are Katsuyu too. Are you two clones or fissions?" Izuna asked them.

"No, we're both Katsuyu." The two snails reply to Izuna.

"Then which one of you is the real one, or is going through an identity crisis?" Izuna recalls Naruto's filler episode where Naruto's shadow clone took Naruto hostage.

"We're both real." Both of them replied simultaneously again.

"Hey! Can you take me to the real Katsuyu? I don't really understand the situation here." Izuna looked around and saw various versions of the giant Katsuyu.

The two-tailed fox nodded at him and continued to carry him towards Katsuyu.

They walked for a while and soon arrived near the roots of the giant tree. The fox pointed towards the cave and explained,

"Miss Katsuyu is inside that cave. My task is done if you want to see me again, then visit me at the Fox clan."

The fox turned around and ran in a certain direction. Izuna entered the cave and immediately saw a large snail creeping back and forth inside the cave.

"Katsuo! You're the real Katsuyu, who's looking for me, right?" Izuna questioned the snail.

"Yes, I am indeed Katsuyu who is looking for you."

The giant snail turned his head and looked at Izuna.

"Hey! Before we start our conversation, I have a question for you. Do you mind answering it?" Izuna question the slug.

"Come on! I'll try to answer your question." Snails reassured him.

"What's up with all the Katsuyu out there? Are they your fist clones or something? It's all Katsuyu, right?" Izuna questioned Katsuyu.

"Oh! That's. It is no secret for the natives of Shikkotsu Forest. Actually, they were all Katsuyu. We share every information with each other, and we are all telepathically connected to each other.

After a period of time, Katsuyu will undergo binary fission and split into two new Katsuyu. The new Katsuyu will inherit the memory of the Old Katsuyu. This way we've survived for a very long time."

Katsuyu answered Izuna. Izuna looked at Katsuyu with a surreal look.

'That's her. That's Katsuyu's secret. I think it would be something surprising. But this, I can't think about it. It's amazing actually but still, it's less compared to my fantasy.'

Izuna nodded to herself. He asked again,

"I placed my teleportation seal on one of your smaller bodies. When I teleported here, why did I appear so far away from your location?"

Izuna looked at Katsuyu.

"Izuna-kun, Shikkotsu Forest is isolated from the rest of the world by the space-time barrier. The founder of the Uzumaki clan built this barrier. I help keep the barrier around the forest.

It is for this reason that your teleportation formula cannot capture my coordinates closely. Thus, you were teleported on the outer edge of the forest. Various beings with low intelligence were on the outer edge of the forest."

Katsuyu continued to explain,

"Yuzuna-kun. Kami Katsuyu is the protector of the Shikkotsu Forest. We are the ones who care for the Forest and maintain its ecosystem despite being isolated from the rest of the world. The Shikkotsu Forest existed long before the Rikkudou Sennin era, and I have maintained it for a long time.

Over the years, due to the continuous cleavage, I have turned into several Katsuyu that help me keep the forest more efficient. Many of Katsuyu died by accident, died in battle, or for various other reasons."

Katsuyu explained about himself.

"Katsuyu, who's your former summoner? I meant before Tsunade signed you." Izuna asked curiously.

"I am a former summoner of Mito Uzumaki and earlier, I had a summoning contract with the Uzumaki clan members. One member of the Uzumaki clan once helped me by sealing the raging creatures that exist in the Shikkotsu Forest.

The battle led to the death of many Katsuyu. Fortunately, members of the Uzumaki clan sealed the creature before major damage occurred. That's when I made a summoning contract with the Uzumaki clan member."

Katsuyu placed the summoning contract in front of Izuna. Izuna unrolled the scroll and began to sift through the names of her contractors.

"Tsunade Senju, Mito Uzumaki, Ashina Uzumaki...."

He kept searching for the name of the previous contractor. After reading a brief glance, Izuna stopped at the first name on the list.

"Kenshiro Senju's..."

Izuna looked at the scroll once more.

He looked at Katsuyu and questioned him.

"Mrs Katsuyu! Who is Kenshiro Senju? You made a contract with a member of the Uzumaki clan, right? Then why would a member of the Senju clan be first on your contractor list?"

Izuna asked Katsuyu.

"Oh, that! I guess you are aware of the fact that the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan are brothers, right?"

Izuna nodded at Katsuyu.

"Kenshiro was the first member of the Uzumaki clan. He is also known as the founder of the Uzumaki clan. He was the one who sealed the ferocious creature and protected the Shikkotsu forest several centuries ago.

After he made a summoning contract with me, he established the Uzumaki clan and split from the Senju clan. If you're interested in the story, then I'll tell it to you."

Izuna nodded at him as she prepared to listen to his story.

'I am quite interested in this Kenshiro Senju story. He is the founder of the Uzumaki clan and has the 'Sin Eye'. I wonder how he can get the 'eyes of sin'.
