BECOME MADARA'S GRANDLE IN NARUTO WORLD
FOURTH HOKAGE

Early in the morning, a Chunnin placed a board in front of the Hokage's office. The board reads, though,

"I am Hiruzen Sarutobi, hereby announcing my resignation as Hokage and appointing Minato Namikaze as the Fourth Hokage."

A commotion rang out among the citizens of the leaves as they read this notice.

"Third Hokage-sama retired from the position of Hokage and has chosen the Fourth Hokage." Someone in the crowd shouted.

“Minato Namikaze ain't he Yellow Leaf Flashes. He will be a good Hokage.” Someone else shouted.

“I don't think he's a suitable candidate for the position. Isn't he too young to be Hokage? I mean, he has to shoulder a big responsibility.” An old man disagreed with the decision.

I secretly activated my Sharingan to check on the man. I suspect he is Danzo in disguise. After careful examination, I concluded that he was just another conservative old geezer.

“Minato-Sensei will be a good Hokage. If you think he is too young, then remember Third Hokage-sama was only twenty years old when he became Hokage. Facts speak louder, Old Man. ” I mocked the old man as I continued my training.

“This..the child has a point. The third Hokage was also young when he became Hokage. I think Minato Namikaze will be a good Hokage.” Other people agree with me.

“Yes, just look at Yellow Flash's contribution to Third War. He single-handedly stopped the invasion by a thousand Shinobi from Iwa.” Others speak in support.

Slowly, public opinion swayed in Minato's favor as the people split into two groups. One group liked Minato while the other group disagreed. 

Later in the day, on the rooftop of the Hokage Office,

In the presence of all the clan leaders and shinobi of the village, Hiruzen gives Minato the Hokage hat as he resigns from his position.

“From today onwards, Minato Namikaze will be appointed as the Fourth Hokage. I will count on you, Fourth Hokage.”

"I promised my life for it," Minato responded to Hiruzen as he walked towards the villagers.

Minato spoke to the villagers as he gave his usual Hokage speech and promised responsibility. After the speech, everyone returned to their jobs as many clan leaders began to plan their political actions and attitudes in the future.

A week had passed since Minato wore the Hokage's coat. I haven't been able to meet him in a week.

I would meet with Kushina whenever I visited their house.

“Female sister Kushina. Minato-san was too busy after she became Hokage. Aren't you sad because he doesn't have enough time for his family?” I asked Kushina.

Kushina smiled as she replied,

“It was Minato's dream to become Hokage. He finally made his dream come true, I'm happy for him. After a month, when he has mastered most of the troops and anbu, he will have more free time.”

I nodded at him when I returned, “See you later, Brother Kushina!”

"See you, Izuna-kun."

I walked towards the training ground while thinking about the future. It will take some time before the Nine-Tails attack and the Obito scheme. I have to train my Susanoo at this time.

I can fight the Nine-Tails with just my Susanoo. Perhaps, I should join forces with Anbu to better protect Minato and Kushina during the attack. I will ask Minato-san to appoint me as his security.

With that in mind, I moved to the Practice site and started practicing at my Susanoo. In order to prevent outside interference and interfere with my practice, I put up a barrier with Fuinjutsu and an optical illusion with my light style while I was practicing.

After the war ended, all the Hidden Nations and Villages were in the process of recovery. It will be at least a month before the mission will start to appear again. Until then, I could only train myself a little more. I must digest all the harvests of the War.

I activated my Mangekyo Sharingan as I began to infuse chakra around myself and mold it in the form of Susanoo from my memory. When I first opened the Mangekyo Sharingan, information about Susanoo just popped into my brain. 

Susanoo is more a technique associated with the Uchiha Lineage than the Mangekyo Sharingan. The only way to gain access to Susanoo is to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan. Even if you lose your Mangekyo Sharingan, you can still use techniques related to the Uchiha Descendants.

Also, I noticed that only people with pure Uchiha bloodlines were capable of using Susanoo. You need the Uchiha chakra to use Susanoo.

I began to form Chakra constructions from my memories. The process is very difficult as it requires great control of the Chakra to form a Susanoo. The process began to strain the nerves around my eyes as a large amount of Chakra was directed through them.

A large rib with a mixture of gold and silver colors began to wrap around me. The skeletal arm grew from the right side of my Susanoo as I tried to control it. After practicing for a while, I was able to master it. That arm feels like an extension of me. I moved with my basic skeleton Susanoo, I took out a tree and easily tore it in half with an arm.

The arm clenched as I smashed it into a huge rock. A huge hole the size of Susanoo's fist appeared on the chunk of rock. A crack appeared on the rock and broke.

Now for defense, I made shadow clones and clones started making Rasengan.

Rasengan hit my Susanoo. Several small cracks appeared at the impact point, no major damage. My Susanoo can hold back an A-rank jutsu for a while. I eliminated my Susanoo and started practicing another natural transformation Kekkai Genkai.

A month slowly passed and missions began to appear one after another. I took on a B-rank mission and decided to do it myself. The mission is not difficult, a group of chunnin level ninjas attack people in the land of waves.

I finished it quickly and returned to the Hokage's office to report the completion.

"Oh so!"

"Yes, Sir... I've never seen Kakashi like that before, sir."

“Fortunately, I secretly sent you as backup.”

"You have that right. I want to be able to help her at a time like this. That's the true meaning of being an eternal rival.”

“You've done a lot to help. Please leave the rest to me now, Guy.”

I heard Minato and Guy talk about Kakashi. I opened the door of the Hokage's office as I barged in.

"Let me help too, Kakashi is my friend and I want to help him too."

“Izuna!..Are you not on a mission?” Minato was surprised to see me.

“I have completed my mission and I am here to report it.” I took out a scroll from my pocket and gave it to Minato.

"okay! Then follow me to meet Kakashi. He's at the leaf village hospital now.” Minato blinked towards the hospital as I followed him.

Minato and I reached the hospital when I saw Kakashi reading a book while lying on the bed. I read the title of the book, 'How a Shinobi should die'.

Kakashi was surprised to see us as he quickly hid the book.

“Minato-sensei, I mean Mr. Fourth. Izuna, what are you doing here?"

“You can call me like Kakashi used to. You know, there are some people in the village, who consider me ineligible for this position and oppose me. I came here because I want to assign you to Anbu under my direct control. Minato's words startled Kakashi as he asked,

"But why me?"

"Because I want you to be Kakashi's right-hand man" Minato replied to Kakashi.

"Minato-san, I also want to join anbu and be in your personal security unit." I also asked Minato.

“Hah...” Minato was surprised by my request as she asked,

“Izuna, you are too young for Anbu. Tell me, why do you want to join anbu?”

“I heard the pay from Hokage's personal bodyguards is quite high. So, I also want to join anbu and become your bodyguard.” I laughed a little when I returned it.

Minato sighed at my answer and replied,

"okay! It's okay if you don't want to tell me the real reason. I trust you Izuna. But are you sure, you are ready to face the darkness of Anbu.”

“Minato-san, I have painted the battlefield with the blood of my enemies during the Third Shinobi War. I have killed many people in war until I got the nickname, 'Silent Shinigami' during the war. I think I'm ready for Anbu.” I spoke with a stern expression on my face.

“Alright then, I will write a letter of recommendation for the two of you,” Minato replied while teleporting from the hospital.

“What is Cha doing, Kakashi? Reading such a sad book.”

I took the book out of Kakashi's bed as I read the title aloud.

“How a shinobi should die! Uncle Sakumo won't be happy to see you like this. I'm sure he's worried about you. Get out of your depression, huh? See all your friends who worry about you.”

I burned the book with my Fire Chakra as the door of the room opened. 

Guy, Asuma, Shizune, Kurenai, Anko entered the room as they bombarded Kakashi with many questions. I smiled looking at their interactions as I joined them in the fray.
