I smiled behind the distant Sakumo as I muttered to myself,

“It looks like things will change drastically in the future. I also have to prepare myself.”

A month passed in the blink of an eye,

From my second day onwards at the academy, my shadow clones replaced me at the academy. I will go to the forest near training ground 3 and practice my Shurikenjutsu and Ninjutsu skills. In the evening, I will train with Kurenai at Genjutsu. He was the perfect test subject for me to practice Genjutsu. 

On our first training day, he tried to prank me with genjutsu but I turned it around with my Sharingan. From that day on, he became a submissive and willing to practice Genjutsu with me. My skills with genjutsu improved very quickly because I could cast genjutsu at Kurenai again and again. Kurenai is a quick learner in terms of genjutsu and I was surprised by his progress. Before he took thirty minutes to eliminate my genjutsu, now he could eliminate it in just twenty minutes. His strength was also getting stronger. 

Uncle Shinku Yuhi was somehow able to obtain some genjutsu scrolls from the Kurama Clan. I benefited from studying it with him. The Genjutsu of the Kurama Clan was different from the Uchiha. Our genjutsu technique affects the victim's five senses but the genjutsu of the Kurama clan is due to their lineage and it affects the user's brain. He also trained me in Kenjutsu twice every week. 

'What he just did was hand over the wooden sword and scroll with some moves like Swing, Slash, and chop and ask me to be proficient at using it while he corrected my posture.'

I did not feel late with training but the continuous training of these three movements for two weeks made my mind tired. Again after two weeks he gave me another roll with three other moves and asked to practice as usual.

Today, I was training in the forest while skipping class as usual. There were five targets marked at different angles in the forest. I closed my eyes as I began to focus my concentration.

I took five kunai in one hand and five secret weapons in the other. I spewed kunai into the air with my left hand, as they began to fall, I pointed my secret weapon at them and started throwing it towards the kunai to direct them towards the target. 

Clack... Clack...

The sound of metal colliding with metal resounded as my four kunai hit the target, but I missed the last kunai of the target as it was hidden behind a rock. I could have used my Sharingan to predict and aim correctly, but I refrained from doing so. 

What good is Shurikenjutsu training, if I use my Sharingan to train in it? I want to hone my other senses and improve my cognitive abilities. In a future battle, a momentary doubt or a bad decision could cost me my life. Practicing other senses allowed me to maintain balance in my body and I would not rely too much on my Sharingan. If I was going to go on a mission, I would not hesitate to land a deadly blow using the Sharingan. Training and combat were actually different things.

Applause…

The sudden sound of applause shocked me as I turned to look at the newcomer.

The newcomer had blue eyes and pointy blonde hair. Two bangs of hair along the jaw hung on either side of his face. He wore a standard Konoha uniform with two ribbons on both arms, a green bulletproof jacket, a blue forehead protector, and blue shinobi sandals.

He clapped his hands and praised me, 

“You're a pretty good boy. Your expertise with Shurikenjutsu is the best I've ever seen in someone your age.”

'Fuck! Not Minato? What the hell is he doing here? He will report my absence in the academy to the Hokage.I have to run.'

I ignored Minato as I started running towards the Uchiha compound. But can I run faster than the fastest Shinobi who ever lived, right?

I was caught in the blink of an eye, when my face was buried into something. I felt something soft pressing down on my face as I struggled to break free. I began to choke as my struggle intensified.

“You strangled her, Kushina! Release him from your embrace.”

I felt the grip around my body loosen as I began to breathe heavily as I looked confusedly at newcomer Kushina,

A white-skinned woman with a slender body, purple eyes and red hair appeared in my view. Her hair was straight as it reached her thighs with a strand of a boat framed on both sides of her face and a black pin splitting her hair to the left. She wore a high-collared sleeveless blouse under a loose-fitting long dress with a bracelet on her left wrist and standard shinobi sandals.

"Come on! Minato's. She's so cute, I can't help but hug her.”

Kushina pouted as she complained to Minato. Minato wryly scratched his forehead hearing Kushina's complaint. I knew their identities, but I still had to act as part of a stranger. After all, this was my first meeting with them. I acted sour when I asked, though,

"Who are you and why are you strangling me?"

Minato was surprised by my question as she answered my question with her question,

“It looks like you are an academy student. What are you doing here in the woods, skipping class? Should I report this matter to your Academy Instructor. ”

'Fuck! Is he going to report me to the academy instructor.' I stammered as I replied,

“Academy is so boring! I learned everything they could teach me. So, I replaced myself with my Shadow Clone when I came here to practice my skills. Earlier, when I saw you coming towards me, I thought you were one of the Academy Instructors. So, I was thinking of running away when I saw you. But you caught me.”

I looked at Kushina with a blaming look. Kushina chuckled as she whistled and avoided eye contact with me. But his hands were itching to hug me again.

Uhuk uhuk

“I'm Minato Namikaze, one of Jounin in the Village.”

He pointed at Kushina as he continued,

“She is Kushina Uzumaki, my wife. Earlier, I was training my ninja team when I heard some sounds from the forest. So, I came to check but I was surprised by your skill in Shurikenjutsu. ”

Minato praised me but she put on a stern expression as she replied,

“Stay, you can't miss a class like that. If you can perform the Shadow Clone technique, then you can always request an early graduation. ”

I shook my head and replied,

“My sister Shisui is still in the academy. I promised her that we would graduate at the same time. I can't break my promise with Shisui.”

'Can't tell them the real reason. Now, can I? After all, I want to become stronger and at the same time avoid Danzo for a while.'

“Minato-Sensei, Sister Kushina.”

Three voices called out to Minato and Kushina in conjugation. I turned around and saw Obito, Rin, and Kakashi shouting as they approached us. They reached us and Obito curiously looked at me and noticed the Uchiha Emblem on my back as he asked,

"Hi! You are also an Uchiha.”

He turned around and showed the Uchiha symbol to me as he spoke,

“I'm also an Uchiha. My name is Obito Uchiha”

I ignored Obito's antics as I looked at Minato doubtfully. Minato noticed my gaze as he began to introduce his team,

“This cheerful and active man is Obito”

He pointed to Rina and Kakashi as a follow-up,

"They are Rin Nohara and Kakashi Hatake."

They all greeted me as I returned their greetings and introduced myself,

“I Izuna Uchiha. I am still studying at the academy. ”

"You are Izuna Uchiha!" Kakashi confusedly looked at me.

“Yes, I am indeed Izuna Uchiha. Is there a problem?"

“You are the person that dad talks about a lot at the moment. He always seems to praise you a lot.” Kakashi.

"Oh! You mean Uncle Sakumo. I met him a month ago, he looked very depressed, so I comforted him a little. Nothing out of the ordinary to praise me.”

“Thank you so much for cheering my dad on!” Kakashi bowed to me as his upper body was almost parallel to the ground.

"Oh!" 

Everyone present there was dumbfounded by this development.

"Kakashi who is cold and stiff can act like this."

Obito teased Kakashi while giving my thumb.

“OK!... Okay fine! Enough of everyone. Now let's continue our training. Also, If you don't mind, you can join us as well with our training. ”

I was happy when Minato offered to train me. Like come on, he is a Kage level Ninja and he will personally train me. What better could I ask for in my academy days?

I immediately accepted and thus began to train with Tim Minato. Kushina cheered us on from the side as we trained.
