After the Roran incident was over, we all returned to Konoha. 

I looked at my right hand which had that strange Fuinjutsu seal. For some strange reason, the seal was only visible to me. I can only see the seal with my Sharingan. I felt uncomfortable with this unknown seal on my body as it continued to absorb my Chakra passively. I cannot suppress this seal with Fuinjutsu and even if I seal my Chakra, the 'Seals' will damage the seal in my Chakra and begin to absorb it again.

My Chakra Reserve was almost at the Two-Tails level and this continuous absorption of my Chakra did not affect me much. The only drawback is that when I start inserting more Chakras for a Jutsu, the Chakra absorption rate also increases leading to a rapid draining in my Chakra. I am powerless against this seal.

'This unknown 'seal' is still the cause of potential future harm and I cannot bear such a risk. Even my Sharingan is useless against him. It's too complicated to decipher just with my Three Tomoe Sharingan and maybe I need the Mangekyo Sharingan to know its secrets.

Since I can't do anything with him, I let him alone. Also just six months after me, Shisui graduated and joined a team. He also developed the Sharingan in one of his missions. Most of the time Hiruzen would pair me with Team Shisui for a mission and I started to like its members.

Shisui's team consists of Shisui, an orphaned Kazuko, and a civilian girl named Mami. Kazuko is a very cheerful man who is also a genius in Ninjutsu. His parents died while on a mission and he grew up in an orphanage. Mami is a shy girl and she seems to have a crush on Shisui that she is unaware of. I teased Shisui as usual because she was so dense. 

After Roran's mission, Minato-san asked for a promotion for me and Kakashi to Jounin. But Hiruzen had just promoted me to Chunnin and rejected the promotion to Jounin by mentioning various implications and such. He even explained that promoting Kakashi to Jounin was an exception and Kakashi was not ready for it yet.

Recently, the Iwa ninja experienced an increase in suspicious activity in the Land of Grass. Most of the Jounin were stationed there and this made Chunnin and Genin have many high-level missions. Time and again, mission difficulties for a genin team led by a Chunnin even rose to B-Rank.

I was assigned as Chunnin leader while Shisui team and our previous mission was B-Rank. It was also during this mission that Shisui developed his Sharingan directly with the Two-Tomoes. To be honest I was quite envious of Shisui who instantly awakened the Sharingan of two tomoe but the trauma that caused it made my emotions clash.

Today, I trained with Shisui's team about their teamwork and cooperation during the mission. I have learned a lot from Minato-san about teamwork and I try to teach them that. Recently, Minato-san and his team were too busy at the border and even Team Shisui's Chairman Jounin was on a mission. I don't know why, but I never paired with any team after my first team retired.

As we practiced, the summoning eagle began to float above us. Shisui and I quickly noticed the eagle as we hurriedly departed for the Hokage's office.

As usual, as we entered the office, Hiruzen was smoking from the pipe while breathing in the deep smoke before he exhaled it and placed the pipe on the table.

“Izuna Uchiha and Team 4, today I called you here for an urgent B-level mission. Normally, the mission would be handled by Jounin but the unrest at the border left us short on manpower. So, this mission will be handled by your team and Izuna will be the leader of your team.

Now, here are the details of his mission. In recent years, cases of illegal smuggling of weapons, minerals and even jutsu scrolls have been uncovered. Your mission this time is to find and kill the leader of the organization and take it all back. Remember the involvement of the Kumogakure Ninja during the mission. Now, is there any question?”

“Hokage-sama, there will likely be the involvement of Level Jounin ninja in such a mission. Isn't this mission's rating too low.” I question the mission specifications.

“You don't have to worry about that. The information collected is accurate and has been verified by reliable sources. So, the assessment for this mission is indeed B-rank.”

“That would be too presumptuous for me, but may I ask the source of the information. In any case, I need to make sure about the safety of my team during the mission. ”

"healthy. You don't have to worry too much. This information is really reliable as it was given by one of the village elders who is also a close friend of mine.”

'Fuck Danzo! Everywhere a pineapple head is involved, it smells of trouble. I can safely assume that this mission will be an A-rank or perhaps an S-rank. It is a suicide mission with no chance of coming back alive. Should I refuse the mission, but the village has a shortage of Danzo's ninja. Anyway, let's take this mission. I could easily face Jounin alone.'

“Alright, here are the other mission details and this is our spy information which you can contact for more information. Keep this file confidential and do not leak information about the spy to anyone.”

"Yes, Hokage-sama." The four of us answered in unison as we exited his office.

“Meet me at the village entrance in an hour. Prepare your belongings, tools and we'll set out for the mission. ”

After an hour, we all left for the Hot Spring Land as I began to explain further to them about the details of the mission.

“Our target this time is the leader of an underground organization called 'Claw'. His name was Wakano and he was a middle-aged man with a scar on his right cheek up to his neck. He is a fat-bellied man.”

I showed them a picture of Wakano as I continued,

“The base of operations is in Takeshi Village which borders the Land of Frost. The names of his right hand and left hand are Kobe and Benjiro respectively. They are your common criminals and there is nothing to look out for. But the real problem is the ninja from Kumogakure. I suspect many jounins are involved in this mission. So, this mission is likely an A-rank mission at least.”

“Yes, I have the same hunch. Izuna nii-san.” Shisui.

“We must take every step carefully during the mission because a small accident can take your life. I assume all of you have brought the antidote, just in case the enemy uses it. ”

“Yes, we are all ready Izuna nii-san.” Everyone speaks in unison.

We continued our journey to Takeshi village. It took us three days to arrive at the village. At the village entrance, we all changed our appearance to suit the merchants with a simple transformation jutsu. We don't want anyone to be suspicious of us and warn Ninja Kumo and Wakano's men. I even shrouded us with illusion techniques to make them look more realistic. 

“Now, it's time we gather information about underground gangs. Once we confirm the information, we will meet with the spies to request more information. Shisui and Mami, you two will move together on one side of the village. Kazuko and I will move towards the other side of the village. Right after three hours, gather in the same place.”

We entered the streets of Takeshi village to gather information.

“Izuna nii-san, where do you want to go first to collect information?” Kazuko.

“Let's go to a store or bar to find information. These criminals usually love alcohol and they will sometimes visit such places to drown themselves in alcohol. We can also hear most of the rumors circulating in the village. Perhaps, some news might give us some clues about the existence of 'Claw'. ”

Kazuko nodded at me as we moved towards the nearest tavern. I activated my Sharingan and covered it with another illusion as we walked towards the tavern. We entered the tavern, as I ordered food for the two of us to eat.

The owner of the tavern was a fat man with a big mustache and a thug look. He has a centipede-like in running horizontally on his head. I scan his body with my Sharingan to check for transformations or other clues.
