THE STRAIT OF DESPAIR

Ninja commander Iwa is dead. All the remaining Iwa ninjas were stunned to see this. But they soon gain their bearings as their enemies run out of chakra and many of them have retained their Chakra. They begin to besiege Akira, Aiko, and Yagami.

Indeed Akira and Aiko came out of the Chakra and weakened. Akira received serious injuries from the previous explosion. Most of the flesh from his left hand was torn from being blown away by the explosion. His left hand is almost undependent as it is almost deformed and requires immediate medical attention.

Aiko was not in good shape either. She was still weak after giving birth to Izuna. Although he was a ninja and had a stronger body, but prematurely releasing Izuna and then constantly fighting with the enemy made his body a victim.

Yagami was in better shape compared to the two of them. His blinking body did not use much chakra and he was also not seriously injured. 

The three of them faced the Iwa ninja with their backs touching each other. Aiko lovingly looked at Izuna as she muttered,

“Don't worry mom will protect you anyhow. “

He wrapped Izuna in a bandage and tied her to his back. She made sure to leave breathing room for her baby.

Izuna saw the fight between her parents and the Iwa ninja as tears began to flow in her eyes. She cried in silence, as she did not want to distract her mother to take care of her. Izuna thought to herself,

'I was an orphan in my previous life. My parents were doctors and they wanted me to be a doctor too. When I was ten years old they died in a car accident. I was adopted by my uncle's family. They barely noticed me, what mattered to them was the money my parents left behind. I successfully enrolled in one of the major medical universities in my country because I wanted to fulfill the wishes of my parents. I lost my parents in a previous life, I don't want to lose them anymore.'

A large amount of Chakras began to gather in his eyes. Emotions trigger chakra changes as his eyes begin to change. The sharing of one tomoe woke up in both of his eyes. Her newborn body was unable to withstand the stress caused by her violent emotions and the awakening of the Sharingan as Izuna fainted.

Her parents were unaware of Izuna's change because they were too focused on the battle ahead and assumed Izuna was asleep.

“We can't last too long, we're almost out of Chakra reserves and I can only do C-rank jutsu again before I run out of steam. “

Akira told them about the situation.

"I ran out of chakra and could only rely on kenjutsu and taijutsu to fight." Aiko reminded.

“I have little Chakra left for the B-rank jutsu and one C-rank jutsu, after which I will not have any Chakra left.”

Yagami makes them aware of his reserves.

Akira and Aiko nodded at each other and they made up their minds. Akira takes out the scroll hidden under his Jounin Vest and he hands it to Yagami. Yagami is stunned when Akira gives him an intel scroll. Before Yagami could speak, Akira interrupted,

“Yagami, you are the only wind user among us. Also, you are the fastest among the three of us and you are the only one with some chakra left. We will distract the enemy, while you retreat and hand this information over to the Village. This is very important information, we can not delay to report this to Hokage.”

"Yes, Yagami, you go to the village and take care of my son when we're not around."

Aiko spoke as she began to untie Izuna from her back. He handed Izuna over to Yagami and told her to be careful. Yagami shed tears as she spoke,

“But...but I cannot do this. Look at the newborn Izuna, how will I answer her when she asks me about her parents? Will I say 'Your Uncle was a coward who ran away when your parents risked their lives to save you'? I can't do this.”

“No, but.. Yagami promised me you'd take care of Izuna. We can escape this situation this time. If we continue to fight, the three of us will perish and they will kill Izuna as well. But if it distracts them long enough, one of us could run away and maybe call up the ninja reserve iwa.”

Akira scolds Yagami as she reminds him of their mission.

“Also, you will also be a father, go and take care of Fumiko and my nephew.”

Aiko reminds Yagami of his wife and unborn child. Yagami hesitated for a moment before he nodded,

"All right! I'll rush back and tell the patrols at the Fire Nation border to send back to you. But before that let me help you guys though a little.”

Yagami kept the scroll in his vest pocket and tied Izuna to his back as he began to weave some signatures.

This conversation only happened in a matter of seconds as Iwa ninja vigilantly stared at them. Although they were in a favorable position, they were still wary of the potential trump cards of these Uchiha Shinobi. There is a saying in another village 'Never blink before an Uchiha in battle otherwise the moment you blink will be the moment you lose your life.'

Yagami squeezed out a large amount of wind chakra and sucked up a large amount of air as he spewed out a huge scythe made from compressed wind. The wind scythe moves diagonally to cut down trees as it moves towards the Iwa ninja. 

Ninja Iwa responded quickly as they all made hand gestures simultaneously and shouted,

'Earth Style: Rock wall'

Large stone walls were erected from the ground as they blocked most of the attacks. Still, the stone wall split open and slashed the Five Special Iwa jounins and one Jounin lost his right hand in the attack.

Dust and debris rise as trees fall to the ground. Akira and Aiko threw another smoke bomb into the dust to make a smokescreen. Ninja Iwa reacted quickly as one of them made a hand gesture and shouted,

'Wind Style: Strong wind' 

Meanwhile, Yagami started running towards the Fire Nation border while carrying Izuna on her back. He looked back once at Akira and Aiko and prayed in his heart.

'Please return safely to your son, Izuna.'

A strong wind blew smoke and dust as Akira and Aiko appeared in the vision of the Iwa ninja. They are shocked when they are unable to find Yagami. Awareness arises at them as one of Iwa's jounins and two special jounins begin to run towards the Fire Nation towards Yagami. Akira and Aiko are powerless to stop them, instead, they focus their attention on the remaining Iwa Ninja.

'Today I will show you, the skills of the son of the Ghost Uchiha.'

Akira muttered as he swallowed the Chakra pill and began to weave his signature. He was ready to sacrifice himself to save his son. Aiko secretly follows along with Akira as she also swallows the Chakra Pill to recover some of her lost Chakras and starts weaving signatures. 

Today Duo Lightning Blossom will show their terror to Ninja Iwa.

Yagami hurriedly ran towards the Fire Nation border to ask law enforcement to return. He had tears in his eyes because he knew it was a waste. By the time, re-enforcement will reach them everything will be over. But he still clung to the last hope for a miracle.

Within ten minutes, the border patrol tower was visible to him as he looked at the patrol team.

“Re-enforcement!..... We need re-enforcement.”

He snorted as he shouted to the patrol ninja. The ninja team was shocked when they heard the screams. They immediately increased their vigilance as they prepared for the enemy's attack. But they let their guard down when they saw the Sharingan and Konoha headbands on the newcomers.

“We were on an important mission and were ambushed while retuning... huff. It's 2nd Northeast, hurry up and save them. I must return to the Village immediately to tell Hokage-Sama.”

The patrol guard nodded as one of them hurriedly left to tell the Captain and the rest marched in the designated direction.

Yagami ran towards the village of Konoha as tears flowed from his eyes. He felt guilty and helpless as he began to rebuke himself for his helplessness.

A large amount of Chakra started to gather around him as it started flowing into his eyes. Izuna was shocked as she sensed the buildup of Chakras.

Blood began to drip from Yagami's eyes as the three tomos on his Sharingan began to rapidly spin. After them the moment they joined and formed a forty-five degree sloping shuriken pattern.

'Yagami has awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan and is similar to Shisui it means my parents......No!' no!'

Izuna started to roar loudly. Yagami is shocked out of his mind as he begins to tend to Izuna to stop her crying.

“Do not worry Izuna. Everything's gonna be fine. I'm sure mom and dad will be back safely. So, don't cry.”

But she is aware of Akira and Aiko's predicament. He comforted Izuna as well as himself. He walked because for now, the most important issue was to return to the village.
