BATTLEGROUND OF KUMO VILLAGE

The war was completely different than I expected. There is no direct confrontation between two parties unless one side has an absolute advantage over the other.

Both sides used guerrilla warfare tactics to test their respective strengths. The forest near the mountains had become a battle zone for war. The captain further divided the battalion in squads with each squad having thirty members.

Shisui and I are in squad number Nine. We were deployed with a reconnaissance unit along with some Hyuga and Inuzuka. The captain assigned us to this squad because he doubted our combat capabilities. I have no problem with the squad because I want to slowly experience the intricacies of war. War will help me develop my skills in tracking and gathering information.

This war is an opportunity for me. There will be many users of Kekkai Genkai during this war and I can use this as an opportunity to improve Jutsu in my arsenal and learn more Kekkai Genkai. I was able to combine elements but watch the user do Kekkai Genkai or find out for themselves, the choice is obvious.

The ability to track down enemies and distinguish between decoys and clues is actually quite difficult than I thought. I activated my Sharingan and asked Shisui to do the same as we learned from Nin Tracker.

I was amazed by their deductions and perceptions when I began to absorb knowledge like a sponge. Our team did a scouting mission quite well. The Hyuga Byakugan helps a lot in avoiding the lying enemy in the ambush ahead. My Sharingan helps me see farther than Hyuga because I can even see infrared waves and other EM waves.

When the Hyugas ran out of chakra, we decided to return to the camp. On the way, a confrontation finally occurred. I warned my team about their presence. We met the battle-oriented Kumo team. There were about twenty-five ninjas on the enemy team.

'Fire Style: The Great Fireball Technique'

I made some signatures and spewed out a huge fireball. I had to benefit from a pre-emptive attack. 'The 'Sin Seal' in my hand started absorbing Chakraku quickly. 

After the previous use of 'Sin seal', the absorption rate of Chakrasya doubled. But I have found a way to fight it.

'Jutsu Clones Many Shadows'

I formed four shadow clones as I continued to fight them. Yes, the Shadow clone distributes my Chakra through the clone and the Clone Chakra is still a part of my body.

'Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu'

One of the enemy ninjas used a water style to fight my fireball. 

'Swis .. swish'

I appeared behind the enemy ninja as I slit his throat.

'Pooof'

The Fireball technique user turned out to be a clone of my Shadow. We are surrounded by several enemy teams up front and I can only choose this team to fight because they have the least number of ninjas. 

Blood dripped from the neck of the Kumo ninja as he lay dead on the ground. I've targeted one of their ninja trackers. The confrontation finally began. A confrontation usually begins with several jutsu from both sides followed by a bare-handed fight or taijutsu when they run out of chakra.

'Eight Trigrams of Vacuum Palm Oil'

One of the Hyugas used his soft fist art in conjugation with the Byakugan to attack the enemy.

'Genjutsu: Sharingan'

Both Shisui and I activated our Sharingan as we threw genjutsu at them. This provides a great opportunity for our team as we can kill five more enemies before Genjutsu is eliminated. This genjutsu is used against the entire enemy army rather than a single person, so it is less effective.

'My Genjutsu technique was left behind. I have to train them during the war with the enemy as my prey.'

Shisui took out his Tanto as he started running around the enemy,

'Body Flicker Technique: Clone Afterimage'

Several copies of Shisui appeared as they surrounded the enemy. With his fast speed, Shisui can move between his shadows and give an attack of each shadow, so that each of them has a mass behind it. He moved to another afterimage if any enemies attacked him so that his opponent could pass his afterimage.

'Kenjutsu Style: The Light of the Moon'

Shisui started attacking them one after another. There was no doubt in his movements as he smoothly executed one move after another.

Now, it's my turn to attack them. All of my shadow clones started to make hand seals,

'Fire Style: Water Style: Lightning Style: Wind Style: Massive Combo Jutsu'

All of my clones spewed out their respective elements as they clashed together to create a huge explosion that engulfed most of the enemy.

The surviving enemy was executed by my team as we finished it.

A day has passed since that incident. 

After that fight, Izuna was promoted to the One combat force. Shisui was transferred to Squad three. The next day,

The Scouts gather the latest intel as they deliver the scrolls to the Captain. The captain quickly traced the intel as he frowned. He quickly orders one of the Jounins, and,

“Quick send this information to Hokage-sama and ask for his help. We can't delay this news.”

Jounin immediately went to the logistic and information squad as he relayed the message. A Yamanaka member with a strange device on his head sat near one of the Sensing Techniques Scope'. 

Jounin approached members of the Yamanaka clan as he spoke,

“Inobu-san, please pass this important message to Hokage-sama immediately. We need help to face a new enemy. Sakumo-san is busy in the battle against the Third Raikage and cannot help us face the intruders.”

Inobu Yamanaka nodded as he transferred intel to the headquarters in Konoha. Yamanaka use the 'Hijutsu' of their clan to perform secret jutsu, which is,

'Mind Body Transmission Technique' 

This technique allows them to telepathically connect with others to send their memories to others located far away. This technique allows Konoha to have the latest intel on the battlefield at all times. The Yamanaka clan was respected throughout the Village just because of this technique.

In Konoha, inside a building near the Hokage's office, a group of people monitored the battlefield situation through intel sent by various logistics units near the battlefield. Shikaku wandered around the room as he pondered and relayed orders to various units through the help of Inoichi Yamanaka. 

Suddenly, Inoichi receives an important message as Shikaku calls.

"Shikaku, this is a very important message from the Battalion of one of the Four Shinobi Units stationed on the Kumo Front."

Shikaku immediately approaches Inoichi as Inoichi puts his hand on Shikaku's head to relay the information. Shikaku had a grim expression after he heard the intel.

“Try to hold them for a few hours, I will immediately pass this information to Hokage-sama. Help will be coming soon.”

Shikaku hurriedly left the room as he had a pensive expression on his face. He tapped on the Hokage's office and Hiruzen allowed him to enter.

“Hokage-sama, this is an emergency. We need quick help on the Kumo.” battlefield

Shikaku delivers all intel to Hiruzen. Hiruzen frowned as he began to ponder,

“Shikaku, tell him about the matter. I'm sure he will be able to turn things around. But before that report the current situation in Iwa bordering me.”

Shikaku reports intel as he returns to headquarters with the Hokage's message.

Meanwhile, on the Kumo battlefield, the,

The captain heard the plan conveyed by Shikaku as he heaved a sigh of relief. Looks like we just need to hold it for a while. 

"Gather Troops One and Two, I have an important order for them."

'The situation doesn't look good. Help will arrive in a few hours, we just need to hold them for a while. Some sacrifices must be made if we are to prevent disaster from befalling the Land of Fire.'

Soon Troops One and Troops Two gathered near the Captain's camp as he began to greet them.

“A Kumo ninja team managed to infiltrate the Fire Nation border and approach the camp. The number of Shinobi is still unknown but the enemy is quite strong as they have annihilated one of our troops in a matter of minutes.”

The Captain read out intel aloud in front of the Army as he commanded,

“We can't let the enemy team infiltrate the Land of Fire and possibly kill Daimyo. To overcome this, our two strongest squads will join hands and face them. You just need to hold them off for a while because help is on the way. ”

The two squads quickly ran towards the enemy. While running, Izuna wonders about the identity of the enemy who infiltrated the border.
