DAY OFF FROM TRAINING

It's been six months since I last went to the academy. Today, I decided to visit the academy with my real body. 

The reason was quite simple, Minato and his team were on a mission and it just so happened that Uncle Sakumo was also on a mission. This whole week will be free for me. So, I just decided to take a break from my hard training and visit the academy.

I have improved a lot in these six months with the help of Uncle Sakumo and Minato. Uncle Sakumo taught me the Earth and Water Element jutsu that I mastered within three months. I spent the last two months honing my skills in kenjutsu under his guidance. I have mastered the basics thanks to Shinku Yuhi. Now, I practice the sword arts given to me by Uncle Sakumo. But my little body was holding me back from doing some sword arts. 

I did not make any further improvements in Genjutsu. I guess I need to develop my Sharingan into three tomos to further improve my skills. But I need some intense fighting to develop my Sharingan further. Kurenai also stopped training with me as none of us progressed any further.

I am very satisfied with my progress in the Fuinjutsu seal and space element training. I visited the Weapon store to buy a lot of Fuinjutsu Ink Sticks and empty scrolls. I practiced using my shadow clones in the making of Calligraphy and Chakra inks. Unexpectedly, the manufacture of Chakra ink improved my Chakra Control a lot. My calligraphy now looks similar to the professional Calligraphy from my previous life. But I was still reprimanded by Kushina when she pointed out certain mistakes that I was not even aware of. When I saw them up close with the Sharingan, I cursed myself for my mistakes and improved upon them.

The Space Element training was a little different than I expected. I wish Minato trained me in a place with a lot of spatial disturbances or such. But he only gave me Uzumaki scrolls and Namikaze scrolls to practice. I guess I've read too many Wuxia fantasy novels that are a little damaging to my mind. 

The Uzumaki scroll has a seal with the kanji letter 'Key'. When I put my chakra into this scroll, it formed many Fuinjutsu seals that sealed the space around me. Minato just asked me to sit in a closed room and meditate while trying to understand the space inside. I was puzzled when I asked how this worked, she just shrugged as she replied,

"This is how I practice in the Space element."

But the Namikaze scroll is more interesting and amazing than the Uzumaki scroll. I channeled my Chakra in it and a strange piece of metal emerged from the scroll. When I touched the metal, I felt a kind of strange feeling running through my body as some subtle information about space began to appear in my mind. My understanding of the space element increased for a while as I continued to insert my chakra into it. When I stopped implanting Chakras, the flow of information stopped. 

I asked Minato-san about the origin of this metal. He mentioned that it was a relic passed down in his clan as an heirloom. Some time in the past the ancestors of his clan dug relics from some ruins. The relic was already broken when they found it. It was further crushed by the various fights and attacks from external enemies. His clan was also removed because of this relic. He is the only survivor left and he can escape to Konoha with the scroll given by his father who is the Clan head of the now extinct Namikaze clan.

I wonder if it is similar to the Karasuki Time Artifact, taken by Konoha in the future. Well, the artifact was used by Urashiki for time travel maybe this artifact has the same history.

I entered the classroom and went to my usual seat. I started to stare outside the academy because I was happy for successfully completing my Optical Illusion Jutsu. Now, I have covered my Sharingan with illusions as I keep activating it almost all the time. There is virtually no use of chakra in keeping this jutsu active.

I started observing my classmates with my Sharingan. My gaze fell on the members of the Aburame Clan and it frightened me. Insects were too many insects, that person had too many insects crawling inside his body. I slowly checked every member of the class as my eyes stopped on a certain girl. The girl seemed to feel someone's gaze on her turn around and look at me. We both stared for a while as I was shocked to see this girl here,

'The girl had straight purple hair that reached her waist. His brown eyes looked at me curiously.'

The girl tilted her head in confusion as she looked at me. I nodded my head at him as a greeting. She was confused by my nod as she pointed at herself with a finger. I just laughed at him and then kept looking around.

The girl was none other than Yugao Uzuki. In the original story, he joined Anbu shortly after graduating from the academy. He is a sensor-type ninja and I was very surprised when I first saw him in the same class as me.

Well, she's very cute and I would definitely date her if there was a chance. Well in the original story she fell in love with Hayate Gekko because the latter taught her Kenjutsu. Well, I can do the same and teach him Kenjutsu. He will also be a good training partner for me. 

Well, I've decided to take a leave of absence, so I'll just enjoy a tour around the village. I walked out of the academy and walked lazily towards the market. I was passing through the park when I saw some kids my age playing with each other. Most of the children were civilians with some clan members. I walked into one of the swings and applied some wind chakra to the swing and I closed my eyes as the swing moved to and fro by itself. 

I enjoy the breeze of the swing as I remember my childhood in my previous life. My parents would usually take me for a walk in the park because my dad would give me a ride on the swing. I lost my parents in my previous life and almost lost them in this life. I will be strong and protect them.

The To and Fro movement of my swing stopped as I opened my eyes to find out why. A ten-year-old boy with a genin headband held a swing chain in his hand as he stopped the swing.

I frowned seeing this as my mind started racing,

'If I'm not mistaken, then this man is the older brother of one of the academy's students who peed on their pants out of fear.'

As if beckoned, the four civilian children began to surround me as their leader made fun of me,

"What are you going to do now? We've surrounded you. My brother is a ninja, a true ninja with the rank of genin.”

The big man showed his forehead protector to me as he looked at me with a grin.

“You have the guts to bully my little brother in the academy. Now I'll see how you can do it in the future. ”

I shook my head at their stupidity as I just muttered,

'Genjutsu: Sharingan'

I started to stay away from civilian children when I decided to try more street food. The civilian children were bewildered to see my departure as the leader began to shake his elder brother,

“The boy escaped. Arrest him and hit him to get our revenge.”

Other children also joined the leader as they continued to shake the genin.

“Argh. I will beat you like ******!”

Genin shouted loudly as he started attacking the younger children. The younger children became frightened when their older brother started beating them. They frantically ran around the village as Genin men chased after them and beat them whenever one of them was caught by him. This continued for a while as the cries and cries of the children echoed in the streets of Konoha.
