Inside the Hokage Office,

Izuna and his team listened to the details of their latest mission as Minato and Hiruzen explained to them,

"Konoha has received a backup request from Takigakure. According to intel, the Hidden Waterfall Village was attacked by a group of unknown shinobi. In this crisis, the Hisen Village Chief of Takigakure sent a request mission to Konoha.

Since this mission involves conflicts between countries after the Third Shinobi War, we cannot deploy a regular team of shinobi to handle the situation. This can cause unrest if they find Konoha's involvement. So, I assign this task to your team. Help the Hidden Falls overcome this crisis."

Hiruzen gave the intel scroll to our Team Leader. We were all out of the Hokage Office, but Hiruzen stopped the Captain.

"I have a task for you. The Hidden Waterfall Village had a special liquid called 'Hero Water'. It is produced once every hundred years and has some special properties. Try to negotiate with the Village Chief for this water when you ask for compensation. "

We all gathered on the outskirts of Konoha as we marched towards Takigakure. Takigakure is a hidden village in the Land of Waterfall. Bordered by the Stone Country and the Fire Nation as a great country.

Takigakure is not a large hidden village, as it does not have an official Kage. But it survived the previous war and still stands after three wars.

Takigakure's most famous shinobi is Kakuzu, a runaway ninja who is ordered by the village's top brass to kill the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. He fails to complete his mission and returns to the Village only to face harsh stigma and punishment for the insurmountable failure of his mission.

Kakuzu came to hold Takigakure's ruthless hatred and escape from his prison. Before he escaped, he ruthlessly slaughtered the Village Elders and plucked out their hearts. He escaped from the village, not before stealing one of the most valuable 'Kinjutsu' in the village.

After the first war, Takigakure signed a peace treaty with Konoha, and since then a non-aggression agreement with Konoha.

I skimmed through the information provided by our captain in Takigakure. Not much detailed information is available regarding Takigakure, as my permission level is not enough.

The development of Takigakure is credited to the high number of Jounins. It never managed to be invaded despite being surrounded by four other countries, a feat they were very proud of.

It seems I can't remember much information about Takigakure from the anime. I only know about Kakuzu, because that person is popular.

Our journey lasted all day as we reached the Takigakure border. We got near a very large tree, which easily dwarfed the nearby trees. A huge waterfall flows near the tree. We had reached the meeting place designated by Takigakure while waiting for our guide.

I felt a look at our team.

'Perhaps, they are monitoring us to ensure our hostility.'

The captain walked up to the tree; he took out a whistle from his pocket and blew it. The whistle produced some inaudible sounds. This is a signal given by Takigakure to prove us as a friendly force. After waiting for a while, a group of Jounin Takigakure walked out from behind the tree.

'They probably used a secret passage to get here.'

One of the Jounin walked up to the Captain and extended his hand. The captain gave the scroll to Takigakure Jounin and waited for his response. The Takigakure jounins read the scroll and used some sort of seal to check its authenticity.

After a while, he nodded to us and led us to the waterfall. Jounin makes several signatures and touches the waterfall. The water screen shifted slightly, and a large stone with a seal appeared in front of us. Jounin made a few more signatures and slapped his hand in the middle of the seal.

The stone shook as it moved from its position to reveal a passageway. One of the Jounin walked inside the hallway and the other signaled for us to go inside.

Our team followed them inward, but we were all very vigilant for any suspicious activity. Some Jounin remained behind as they made some signatures and stones covered the entrance once more.

"This is for security measures. We don't want any invaders infiltrating our village." Jounin assured us as we followed him closely.

The entire passageway was an underground cave system with many passageways and labyrinth-like dead ends. If it wasn't for Takigakure Jounin leading us, our team would probably be lost in the labyrinth. Using Ninjutsu to blow up this place is not a good idea, because the entire hallway will collapse above us.

We stood on the water and followed Jounin. This lake is in the middle of the village. In the middle of the lake is a gazebo. Jounin took us there. We could see a man sitting in the middle of the gazebo.

"Welcome friends from Konoha. I'm glad to see you here, I hope Hokage-sama is fine."

"There is no need for such pleasantries, Village Chief Hisen-sama. Hokage-sama received your message, and he immediately deployed us to help you. Since this is a secret mission, we cannot reveal our identity. This is the message from Hokage-sama." The Captain gave a scroll to the Village Chief.

I observed the Village Chief Takigakure.

She has short silky brown hair that is gray on the outside with only the top retaining the brown color. He wore a black Takigakure forehead protector around his forehead and his hair hung on his left and right sides and he also had a brown sideburn. He has small black eyes and a small brown beard.

I can sense a large amount of Chakra from him, but if I judge his strength, then he could be considered a little weaker than Sannin.

'I think that's part of the reason why Takigakure doesn't have a Kage yet. Their strongest Shinobi is quite weak compared to the other Kage.'

We can't figure out their motives yet. Our village is away from the two previous Ninja wars and we have maintained friendly relations with other Countries after the First Hokage Incident."

Hisen Village Chief sighed as he explained the details of the attack to us.

"I have asked Iwagakure and Konohagakure for help, but Iwagakure refused our request due to the lack of personnel on their side due to the war. Fortunately, your people from Konoha came to help us."

He pointed to the nearest jounin as he continued,

"Suien will help you with your Inn, we will need your help during our night patrol. From the recent pattern of enemy attacks, they will most likely attack us today."

Suien has long pointed hair, small dark eyes, and a beard. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, gray pants, black shinobi sandals. He wore his forehead protector like a bandana on his forehead.

'This guy has a villain aura.' Somehow, this Suien man gave me the vibe of a petty villain. I ignored this feeling as I followed her to our inn.

The Village Chief had booked a quite luxurious inn for us near a large waterfall. After we settled in the inn, I explored the Hidden Waterfall Village and I asked the Captain for permission.

"As long as you don't break protocol, you're free to do anything. However, stay alert in the village."

I changed my appearance using Jutsu Transformation and walked out of the inn to tour the village.

The village has Southeast Asian Aesthetics. I looked around various places in the village while enjoying the local cuisine.

'Looks more like a vacation, then a secret mission for me.'
