"Mas, come in.abah wants to see Bram." Aisyah came out with a flat expression, gesturing from her gestures for Bram to follow her into Abah's room.
Bram left without protest, following Aisyah's steps.
Bram's look was pounded on his body. The old man was already leaning on his wooden bed, his smile was wide even though his lips were slightly down.
Aisyah bowed slightly, glanced at Bram and came out.
"Assalamu'alaikum, ottoman..." Bram as usual said his greetings and kissed the back of the old man's hand.
The hand felt stiff, and Bram realized the possible effects of a stroke. Fortunately, his face looks normal, it doesn't seem too bad.
"Wa tadaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, kak Bram." Greeting you with her soft voice, her voice was indeed a little different than usual.
"Change, how are you? I was surprised to hear the state of Ayesha earlier."
"It's okay Bram, thank God that God is still extending the age of you. So many unfinished things must be done in the world." Abah smiled again.
"Sorry, I'm not here when you're in trouble."
Bram looked at the old man's face with guilt.
"It's okay, son.abah is also okay, maybe God is reminding Abah to remember with an old body, should be more worship because the age of no one knows the time. The age that God gives to man is a message that must be well guarded. Perhaps it was Allah who rebuked through this sickness. Right now you are given the opportunity to see the sun, maybe God wants the rest of this age to be filled with goodness and godly charity." Abah always had words for all the trials in his life, never once did he get bad at all the misfortune that happened to him.
Bram nodded his head, while pulling a wooden chair in the corner of the restroom, sitting half-bending towards Abah.
"I'll take you to a specialist." Bram finally said.
"The doctor has handled me well, Bram boy. Don't worry about me too much." Abah laughed a little while pulling the blanket that almost faded color.
"I know, bah. But to a specialist we'll get a more specific diagnosis."
"For what?" Tukas Abah suddenly.
Bram was stunned staring at that sudden look so seriously.
"So you can handle it right." Answer Bram.
"If I don't exist, I don't know who will take care of them." The complaint sounded like it was stuck.
Bram was stunned for a moment, he waited for you to continue the sentence that was watching.
"Son Bram, I don't know who to talk about this to, but as I lay in a state of consciousness and not, I don't know why my memory was on you." Abah looked straight at Bram, his voice humbled, as if he did not want others to hear him.
"Yes, my dear.what can I do for you?"
"Son Bram, the age of no one knows, only God has the all-knowing destiny. I don't know how long this old body can be in this world, when God takes it then nothing can hold back. The more I thought, the more I became agitated, although this feeling was not the beach I pinned if I called myself a believer. As a human being, I can't help but think about it sometimes." Abah breathed.
"What makes you feel so nervous? Justsaytheword. If I can help you, I will." Bram spoke with a convincing attitude.
"I know that Bram boy must have said this, so I sometimes doubt if I should have asked Bram. I was afraid as if I was taking advantage of our closeness, but for God's sake now I'm just entrusting this to Bram's son." Her eyes were glared at the petals that were wrinkled at the age of eating, staring at Bram unblinkingly.
"Change.tell me."
"Son, Bram, can you do one thing for me, so that when my death comes, I can calmly leave this mortality."
"Change, I'll do whatever you ask."
"A fast-paced, uneasy 10 years had passed after Faraz left 11-year-old Aisyah with her pregnant, elderly mother, but I still dwell in the bitter root in my deepest heart. I could not get rid of the shadow of someone who had once published such a deep hatred that it poisoned me even in the time I was trying to be privileged. The hatred may have faded away with how many knees I had folded in front of His presence but many questions I would not have taken if I had to die." Abah's voice sounded hoarse, Bram never saw the old eye so sad.
"Son Bram, can Bram help me find where Ayesha's father is? if she's alive, I'd like to see her, just once..."
Bram gasped at the old face that looked increasingly withered.
"Whatever happens to him, I just want to listen to him, why is it so heartless to leave Atifa and the biological child he never saw? I just want to hear why she abandoned Atifa so miserable?"
