"I can't wait to unbox!ng." Bram replied while grinning at Aisyah.
"The unbox!ng? The unbox!ng what is it?" Ask Aisyah innocently. His eyes sparkled, so innocent.
"Hush, Bram!" Mama Bram glared at Bram who was greeted by the laughter of Bram, he was just joking but deep in his heart he was serious with his words. He can't wait to confirm Aisyah.
Papa Bram couldn't help but see Aisyah's innocence.
"Don't rush that either. At ready first mature. Girls people also want you know in a real marriage, parents also want to see their children married well, in a festive event. Yeah, right?" Mama Bram stroked Aisyah's shoulder, she couldn't shake her affection when she saw this child.
"When did you bring mom and dad to meet dad and mom Aisyah? mama had to meet Aisyah's parents immediately to determine the time. Good intentions need not be put off."
The question was actually so commonplace but immediately made Bram stunned especially Aisyah, she was speechless and downcast, not knowing what to say.
"We'll meet them." Bram then with a little hesitation, his eyes stole a glance at Aisyah who was getting down.
"Just..." Bram tried to look ordinary, he himself was still not sure what to say about the psychiatric condition of Aisyah's mother.
Bram is not shy, but sometimes parents like to consider the family tree of others. She was afraid, if she said Aisyah's mother was mentally unwell in these ten years and her father how, it became a stumbling block for their relationship between the two Aisyah in the future.
"Ayesha's mother is ill and her father is also."
"They're all sick? How the hell does that mean?" Mama Bram looks confused and concerned.
"Not so, but they've been living apart for a long time. And their health is not very good." Bram tried to explain.
"Aisyah's parents are divorced?"Mama Bram frowned.
"Yes, that's kind of it." Bram scratched his non-itchy head.
"Sort of like? The obvious speaking. Divorced or what?"Mama Bram looked at her son in confusion.
"They're divorced." Aisha replied, doubtful. He only remembered the letter of his father that he had looked at his mother before leaving her. Whether it was legitimate or not, at least that was the status of his parents that could be explained.
"That's it, Ayesha?" Ask Mama Bram, full of investigation on Aisyah.
Aisyah just nodded, one of the things she feared in life was when the family of her prospective partner's family asked for weights, seeds, bebetnya. He was the victim of an obscure divorce, a father who left his mother and the son of a mentally unwell mother. He never knew how to explain it.
"It's okay, they're divorced, not for their own good. No one judges people's decisions to do what they think is better for themselves. Like Bram and Diah, they divorced for a certain reason and now their lives are each much better than before. Aisyah is like Bella, she doesn't know anything about it. So don't be afraid, it's a common thing in life." Papa Bram's words sounded wise, trying to calm Aisyah who looked tense.
"Are you going to be able to say it's okay to know my mom is mentally ill?" Aisyah's whisper in her heart, honestly it must be done but she is not ready now.
...***...
"Yes, I know. There's nothing to hide. But, can we postpone it after we're officially married?" Bram looks worried.
"We have to tell him, before Bram marries me. I don't want to cheat Bram's mas family."
"Not deceive, Ayesha. We're just delaying telling him."
"Mas Bram is afraid they're revoking our blessing?"
Aisyah's question sounded ordinary but pierced right into Bram's heart.
Bram. He could not deny, a little afraid his parents' response was not in accordance with his expectations.
"I'm not afraid if Bram's parents don't approve of our relationship because of my family's genealogy. I can take it. I was born into a poor and broken family. Nothing I regret about that."
"What do you mean, Ayesha?"
"That means Mas Bram is not my soul mate. Is not God going to show us different ways and ways of saying that we are fooled or not?" Aisyah's eyes were slightly dewy as she said that.
"Dear of it!" Bram interrupted with a slightly raised tone. It was Aisyah's fingers clenched on the table.
"You are my soul mate. I believe you are the soul mate God sent me. If it's not written like that in our matchbook, I'll write it myself." Bram's words sounded stern and serious.
"Why did Bram write it?" Aisyah asked as she blinked her eyes which started to tear up.
"With all my dhikr, with all my tahajjud! I will force God to match you with me if necessary. Forcing him with every do'a in the beads that my brother gave me!"
Aisyah was stunned, she had never seen Bram so seriously that even her jaw hardened when she said that.
"How can we force God...?" a drop of tears fell in the corner of Aisyah's eyes.
Bram did not budge, his fingers squeezed Aisyah's hands involuntarily with a little strength.
"As long as our intentions are good, nothing is impossible. I'll convince my parents to marry you no matter your family background. With Bismillah I ask you and I believe the closing sentence is Alhamdulillah."
