"Are you awake?"
Aisyah almost jumped down the last rung of stairs.
"Astagfirefull!" Aisyah held onto her chest, the voice was familiar to her ears.
"Sir Retno?"
Retno smilingly stood facing the dining table, putting a bowl of soup cream in the middle of the table. On the table is also composed of other dishes, egg omelet omelette, fried rice and bread along with various jams. Milk and tea are also available. Breakfast is ready.
Even at the table was sitting his mother enjoying breakfast with a neat look jali.
"It looks like your path is a little abnormal, huh? looks like somebody's working too hard tonight." The Goda mbak Retno.
Aisyah's face blushed. Moreover, his mother and step-sister were also there, Adka.
"Eh, Assalamualaikum sis..." Adka stood up while slightly bowing, she looked as if she had just arrived, taking off her jacket.
"Wa'alaikumsalam, who are you here with? Daddy?" Aisyah's eyes turned around looking.
"Akh, no brother, I'm alone with Retno" replied Adka. The young man whose age was not even 18 years old glanced at Mbak Retno, a strange shy glance.
"Together with Retno?" Aisyah pulled up the chair next to her mother, having previously kissed her hand.
"Yes, me and Adka from 6 and a half are here. He who came to see me early in the morning, asked to be brought here. I've been here before the show. So I'll just take you with me." Mbak Retno fast.
"Oh, thanks mbak, we've delivered Adka."
"You should also thank me, I also helped Bude Atifa prepare breakfast and Adka delivered Tito to school earlier." Retno's smile.
"Waaaah, thank you very much. I don't know how to say thanks to you." Pias Aisyah's face flushed, it felt like Retno was trying to tease her.
"Akh, just ordinary. I already know, the newlyweds will wake up bad luck. In fact I was worse, you know, waking up at ten o'clock, because of hunger." Retno's mom chuckles.
"Akh, mbak.don't talk about it." Aisyah's face was like a boiled crab due to misbehaviour, let alone Adka looking at her in surprise.
"What's up here? dad's okay, right?" Aisyah asked, she glanced at her mother who seemed to have finished breakfast and went to the room to take medicine. He looked calm, Adka's presence did not affect him at all. Adka looks polite and reverent to Atifa, standing and bowing while saying greetings before Atifa came out of the dining room, it seemed that he was so disinclined by the woman who had been abandoned by his stepfather for the sake of his mother.
He had repeatedly begged for mercy and forgiveness at Atifa's feet for her late mother's guilt.
"There's nothing to forgive, son. I know our paths of destiny are different, and you don't know anything about what happened. God may have arranged it, whatever His plan, but I have no right to judge you for what your mother and Faraz have done." That's Atifa's answer, her sanity made her completely change. At all times he would sit in his room, and at night he would worship. There is no real remedy that goes beyond surrender to God.
"Where's Mas Bram?" Tanya mbak Retno with kepo.
"Still sleeping." Ayesha answered, she reached for a glass of milk, after saying bismillah in her sip for almost half a glass.
"Oalaaah, still sleeping? The piro iki clock? She's not working?"
"I. I don't know mbak." Aisha answered wrongly.
"What are you Bram? you give me some sleeping pills, huh?" Retno patted Aisyah's shoulder before casually dudul in the chair.
"Akh, ma'am Retno, I don't love anything." Aisha shames me. So the newlyweds are always in flirt.
"Is there anything I can help you with?" Aisyah grabbed the bread from the plate, trying to avoid the gaze of Retno who was still teasing her.
"I just want to meet Bram "Adka down. He clearly did not want to talk about his intentions to Aisyah.
"Why do you want to meet Mas Bram?" Aisyah's eyes did not blink looking at Adka.
"I'm..." Adka looks doubtful, he glanced for a moment at Retno who was cuek duck taking fried rice to his plate.
"I just wanted to get advice from him." Answer Adka later.
"What advice?" Aisyah looked very curious.
"About your work? you got a problem?" Search Aisyah. Adka shook her head firmly.
"I'm sorry Brother Aisyah, this is just a possible man's talk." Adka lowered her face.
"Yes, stop. It's up to you. Let's wait for Bram to get up and get off. Looks like he's got no plans for nowhere today." Aisyah looks hesitant for a moment when pouring a cup of tea.
She remembered her obligation as a wife to serve her husband, ever since he was lawful as a wife. Sipping tea on his own felt strange now to him.
"I'll wake up Bram's mas first..." Aisyah stood up and paid a farewell to the two people who were just gawking at her disappearance back up, while carrying a cup of sweet tea.
...***...
Aisyah sat soundlessly on the edge of the bed, staring at the man who appeared to be sound asleep there. Haru tingling, he never expected a match with Bram, the man who was told abah, crying bitterly in front of abah for regretting his sin.
"It is better that a thousand times a sinner repenteth nasuha than a good man but consider himself truer than others." Abah's words were still clearly ringing in his ears.
"Hey...Good morning love."Bram suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Aisyah gently, surprising Aisyah who was still looking at Bram's face while daydreaming on the edge of the bed. The tea in the cup he was holding almost fell.
"There's no need to admire me like that, your husband is indeed gallant and mighty." that sleepy heavy voice made Aisyah blush in embarrassment.
"Mas is awake?"Aisyah wavered and misbehaved, trying to divert Bram's conversation.
"Still asleep, baby and still want to stay in bed with you all day..."Bram replied as he rolled closer to Aisyah.
"Mas not hungry?"
"I'm hungry for you..."
"Akh, mas Bram." Ayesha's cheeks met red.
"I'm not hungry. Just seeing you feels full." Bram smiled to himself, pulling his body against the pillow.
"That's for me?" He asked while frowning his forehead.
"Yes." Yeah." Aisyah pushed the tea in her hand timidly.
Bram took it while kissing Aisyah's forehead.
"Akh, this tea..." Bram said as he sipped his tea, the flow was strangely linked.
"Why the tea?" Aisyah glared tensely.
"Rose." Bram shook his head.
"Astaqfirullah, forgive Ayesha, mas, did not check if the sugar was right." Aisyah bit her lip about to take back the tea from Bram's hand.
"The tea is fine just tasteless, because the sweetness runs out on you."
"Lick!"
Aisyah was completely misbehaved by Bram's behavior.
"Buck!"Aisyah said, her lips were washed away in such a way.
