Faraz stared at Aisyah and Bram's face alternately, his hands trembling holding the iron stick that Bram had bought for him to replace his wooden stick which was out of nowhere after he collapsed and was taken to the hospital, three days ago.
"We're going to meet your mother here?" Faraz's eyes stared doubtfully at Aisyah while staring at the large writing in front of the high wall that was "THE MENTAL REHABILITATION PANTI RUH SIHIYA"
He had been wearing a neat clean shirt with black peci that Aisyah bought, looking much better than his appearance when he first met Aisyah.
Aisyah nodded her head while pressing the bell attached to the wall.
"Atifa's here?" Ask me nervously.
Aisyah did not answer, Bram just kept quiet, she did not want to precede Aisha in any case to explain what happened.
A few minutes later they entered a hallway after the door was opened by an officer who looked so familiar with Aisyah.
"Dad, ten years ago..." Aisyah stood in front of the door of a room with a frozen face.
"Father has left mother in a place with her memories, and.mother never went from the same place and time. He's still waiting there, in the place where I promised he'd come back." Say it sadly.
Faraz stared at Aisyah as she tried to feel the girl's intentions.
"From yesterday I asked about your mother, but you answered nothing."
"Because I don't know what to answer." Aisyah Sahut.
"If you see mom today, I really hope you come back and end all the waiting. I don't know what's going on, I really hope you're going to restore mom's memory."
Aisyah slowly opened the doorknob and there, and the first scene in the room that was not how big it was, Atifa was sitting on a chair facing the window, her body upright with her head staring straight out, looking at the afternoon sky.
Atifa with her black veil was like someone in mourning.
"Mother..." Call Aisyah, break the silence.
The body didn't shake, as if it didn't hear anything.
"Assalammualaikum Ibu, this is Isah..." Aisyah walked up to the mother's chair, leaned over and kissed the mannequin-like hand.
"Someone whom I was waiting for, ten years ago, came to see my mother." Bisik Aisyah with a raucous voice.
Atifa stared for a moment at Aisyah before staring back at the window, expressionless.
Slowly, Aisyah turned the wooden chair that her mother was sitting on, Atifa's body was not heavy, because her body was slimmer than Aisyah.
Faraz was still standing in front of the door with Bram, Faraz's body trembling as he stared blankly at Atifa.
"Sir...?" Call Faraz timidly. But the one called did not respond.
"What's wrong with you, brother?" He asked in a loud voice, between crying and fear.
Atifa stared at Faraz for so long, barely blinking, her lips tightly clenched.
"Mother? Do you remember him?" Aisyah asked as she hugged her mother's neck, tears falling on her mother's jet-black veil.
Atifa did not answer, her eyes were pounded straight at Faraz, the eyes were glittering like glass, as if stunned.
"He's the father, who I always wait for day and night." The whisper of Aisyah Parau in her mother's ear.
"I...Ishaaah? I...Your mom?" Faraz approached, with short steps and one-on-one.
"Mom lost her memory after I left her." Aisyah tried to say that sentence stoically.
"Mother only knows waiting for father, she becomes oblivious to herself. Even we. We have lost Faiq."
"Pha..Faiq?"
"Faiq is a child that I left without having seen his face because he was still in the womb. He's my brother, a special, handsome boy. He has gone first to heaven."
"As...how can it be?"
"Mother threw him through the window for losing his memory."
Faraz fell down at the feet of Atifa who was sitting unmoved. His cry broke, with his back trembling with tears, his head almost touching the floor in unspeakable regret and sorrow. He could not deny feeling that he had killed his own son through the hands of his wife, Atifa.
Atifa wouldn't have done it if it weren't for her actions. Faraz was completely in shock, his body was shaking, his life felt dead in regret.
Atifa's hand slowly stretched out, touching Faraz's shoulder.
"Sister..." Atifa's voice was heard for the first time.
Faraz loosened his head, along with Aisyah who was stunned as if he could not believe what she saw.
"Sir Sharif..." Call him, caressing Faraz' cheek. Aisyah immediately as in his disappointment, his mother did not know his father but saw Faraz as the figure of his brother.
"Sir Sharif, tell Brother Faraz..." He said with a smile that grew strangely like a person who was enduring pain while a speck of clear water fell in the corner of his eyes as if a speck of consciousness had appeared but he was still lost in his own mind.
"I'm tired of waiting..." Whisper raucous.
"Atifa.this is me.This is Faraz." Faraz wept wailing at Atifa's feet, he can no longer remember if he was a man.
"Forgive me, brother.please forgive me.please..." Faraz howled, he never dreamed that his one mistake had made Atifa's life so ruined that even a child became a victim of his actions, a sin that he only shouldered, he shouldered, his entire family was a suffering victim.
"Sir Sharif, you are right, brother, I have paid dearly for my love for Faraz. Just tell him, I'm sincere, don't ever come back."
Those words sounded so pitiful in the ears, as normal people would say but those eyes did not blink blankly.
"Toooh..." Atifa turned to Aisyah, those eyes looking at Aisha with a different look.
"Mom's tired, I want to sleep..." He got up and stood up and without anyone to help, he went to his wooden bed.
Lying against the wall. Without moving again.
No one knew what happened to Atifa, she was completely as if closing the door to her own consciousness. He no longer looked at everyone.
Aisyah sat on the floor, her legs trembling just looking at her father who continued to cry in regret, she never thought that her past actions had made Atifa suffer for life.
