Mathelina
Chapter 13

Fate meet with you

Almost every woman is happy when she is blessed with a baby in her womb. Perhaps only a few were like Elina, who locked herself in the room, weeping over an unexpected misfortune.

This baby isn't wrong, but he doesn't want it! The thought is of a shattered future, and his mother who may have gone back to pain after learning of this pregnancy.

Elina wiped her tears, stunned as a thought flashed. Raima's idea at that time .. What should this pregnancy be told to Matthew?

Nah! He has committed to bear the consequences of this alone, without involving the man's life. After all, the man would definitely refuse responsibility, let alone Elina sleeping with him because of Matthew's friends who hired him.

If think of “how next?” elina's tears were flowing non-stop and it was hard to think.

Certainty has not been obtained, so Elina lived her life as usual without arousing suspicion, working during the day and directly entering the room to be alone. However, all that does not mean forever does not cause peculiarities.

“Elina, said you want to go back to college?” mother asked one morning, when it was quiet buyers and Frasya had left for school.

Elina was clumsy, and lowered her head while stirring the rice. “Iya. I think Elin wants to work first. Anyway, Frasya wants to graduate school. The money wants me to make Frasya go to college.”

“How do you want?”

“Cut again, maybe a year.” Elina smiled. “Let's go, Mom. Elin just give it up.”

Although Elina did not look at him, from the corner of her eyes, Elina could see the anxious expression that was drawn on the wrinkled face of the mother. Elina returned grim, but was not clearly seen by Mother because she was down.

Ah, nausea again! Without saying anything, Elina put the dishes on the table then rushed to the bathroom. I don't know, is that when my mother's suspicions arose, or at dinner two days later?

Frasya glanced at her brother's plate, then glanced at Mother with a meaningful look. The food on Elina's plate was very little, and since then it was just stirred. Thought Mom might not have a good meal, even if it wasn't so. It was the phrase that finally spoke up.

“Kak, you sick?”

Elina gasps. “Hm? No, I'm fine.”

Frasya. Strange, why did Elina answer that stammer? Then, he responded, “Oh.”

Mother noticed Elina's expression; whether Elina realized it, I noticed a fleeting nervous feeling behind Elina's calm demeanor. That's where I started to wonder.

Mom and Frasya turned their heads when they heard the voice of “huek” from Elina. The girl closed her mouth.

“Why you? Pain?” mother asked worriedly and immediately approached Elina.

While smothering her mouth, Elina shook her head. However, her nausea appeared again without a sound, and Elina rushed to the bathroom. Elina spewed out all the food that had come in and cleaned it.

Tap water from the sink is allowed to come out. Elina stood there, biting her lower lip, anxious. That one, did you suspect him? What if it does? Ah, her life has been fucked up. The attitude he took, and taking decisions for too long made his secret almost exposed.

Until that night, Elina locked herself in the room and started thinking. Raima, who had not seen him for almost a week, contacted him while he was walking back and forth in his room.

“Halo,” reply Elina.

“Lin, how are you? Why say? Don't you miss me?” seloroh Raima, interspersed with a small laugh.

Raima could always make Elina's smile grow. “Gue good. What's up?”

“Yes, have fun first cake.”

But it was so, Elina very rarely made small talk. “Lo not working?” ask after glancing at the clock.

“Work,” sahut Raima directly, “but I want to chat with lo bentaaaar aja. Want to?”

Raima, I'm like a boyfriend who talks about it. But indeed Raima like that just wanted to comfort Elina. Who he had left to share his story, if he did not want his two most beloved people to hear his suffering.

As there was no word from Elina, Raima spoke again, but in a more serious tone. “Lo what again? How's it? Did you think of your decision?”

I don't know Raima. Elina in her heart. Confused, dead-end, that's all he had in his brain. It was as if all the solution doors were closed to him. Only, there was one that had crossed, and was still considered by him.

“Ima,” said after being silent for a while. "Gue couldn't tell Frasya and her mother about this pregnancy. I also can't hold Matthew—” accountable

Raima frowned and held her breath as the remark hung. But he also could not stand being overwhelmed by curiosity, so he urged. “Terus?”

“Gue will abort my content.”

Is this really Elina? Raima froze with her mouth open, not believing Elina's mind was as dead end as it was. Elina is like a heartless wicked woman. In fact, it was he who used to hate such heinous crimes the most, when they watched the news about the topic on TV.

“Lin, don't you hate abortion? Mending you think in another way. I don't agree with you!”

“How else do you want?” hatch Elina. “That's the only way I can think of. I can't bear it if mom and Frasya face the scorn of neighbors and friends Frasya.” He started sobbing and said softly, “Gue does not want mom sick anymore.”

Raima. She knew very well that Elina was worried about them. But still ... “Lin, abortion is very risky. Tina said, you can lose your life, or you can not get pregnant again.” Raima's voice swallowed.

Elina fell silent. On that matter, he already knew and thought about it. “Yes, but I don't care. Even if I can't carry a baby for life, I won't regret it. Anyway, I just want to spend the rest of my life with mom—not married either.”

Bitter, poignant, that's what Raima heard from every word Elina said. Raima understood, that was also what she had chosen, as her determination was unanimous to enter that black world. They both experienced cruel lives in this world. “There is no other option”, only that word appears, when they are faced by a problem that they cannot overcome.

Raima can't force it either. If Elina wanted it, she would no longer need to try to change her mind. “So, what are your plans now?”

“Gue will live apart from mom and Frasya, find a job, and—if you already have money—gue will abortion.”

-;-;-;-

Monika Kristalia Jonathan, it's a name before she got married. A smart, graceful-looking woman, looking gentle with a friendly smile hanging on her lips. Married to a man, she had a handsome son named Justin Satria Adisudibyo.

She comes to a helper and caregiver foundation, carrying justin in her cradle. Then, he met the employee who takes care of this foundation, wanted to hire a baby sitter.

“We have 3 people. You can choose the person,” said the employee, who then ordered the colleague next to him to call the trained caregivers.

Three women in pink nanny uniforms entered along with fellow employees of the foundation. Women differ in expression, age and appearance; one is hijab-wearing, the other two are not.

Monika is attracted to a woman who is attractive, has a gentle gaze, and occasionally looks down. The girl seemed obedient. And he often smiles at Justin's adorable behavior.

“Justin, do you like that big brother?” he asked, pointing at the girl.

The foundation employee looked towards Monika with a smile. “Name Elina. You can see the data here.”

The written data is not so clear—some data there are unallocated—but he is quite satisfied to know that this girl is not troubled, clearly in status, and is quite well educated—SMA. All that is actually not so important, as long as the girl is able to nurture Justin well. He smiled just because he wanted to show the foundation employees that he had read and understood the data.

Monika hands Justin over to Elina's sling, after all the babysitter-rental process is complete. He was so happy, the girl of his choice turned out to be right for Justin. Elina was familiar with her son. Justin was so happy to play with Elina, during the trip to his mother's house.

During her 3 days as a caregiver, Elina was happy because there were not many obstacles there, except nausea, which sometimes appeared. He was very welcome in that family. Just like the other maids, Elina felt lucky working there.

“One more bribe, Justin. Aaaa,” Elina opened her mouth, while feeding a spoonful of porridge into Justin's mouth. Then, he smiled and rewarded the boy for finishing his meal. “Justin smart boy.”

Justin laughed witfully while clapping like Elina.

Then, he saw Monika go down with a smile of excitement, approaching the Goddess who was joking with Justin. “Bu, said he again OTW to home.”

Although it is not sure who, surely the guest is very special to the Goddess. Look at her smile, making Elina happy.

“Bi, ready for room for Mr?” monika said to the fat old lady who was cleaning the table.

“Already, Miss.” The woman nodded.

Then, Monika leads to her son. “Justin, soon when you come.”

Om?

When Elina first came to this house, she saw a large, whole-framed family portrait in the living room. There was Dewi and her husband who paraded bule, then a pair of teenage boys and girls. Must be the person in question is Monika's sister.

Elina didn't know much about this family, because she didn't ask. But, she knew from the maid here, that Dewi and her husband had divorced.

Justin cried along with the doorbell. Monika wants to open the door because she can't wait to meet her sister. But Justin just wanted to be carried by her, not Elina.

“I'm the one who opened the door, Madam,” said Elina offered.

Monika nods and takes Justin to her room, while Elina opens the door. “Got patient,” murmured when the bell rang again.

There was no premonition whatsoever, but instead it was destined to meet. Elina looked back at the figure of the man when the door opened. Matthew and Elina were both stunned for a long time, staring, dissolved in each other's thoughts and feelings.

In fact, he used to say that there was no more meeting between himself and the man. What's your plan, God? Why were they found? Is it because of this kid?

Unknowingly, Elina stroked her stomach, and Matthew saw her despite not understanding her meaning. Looking at the woman again, there was a feeling of pleasure as well as relief, or what— that he himself could not explain.

“Elina.” His lips spoke, as if it were a dream. Then, Matthew hugged his tiny body unavoidably. Elina was shocked, but did not refuse. Let it go, and also dissolve in the warmth of the deck, without realizing that Monika saw the scene.

“Matthew!” exciting Monika.

Matthew jerks. Whatisthis? Just delusion? His position with Elina was close, but they just stood and stared at each other, not hugging like before. Now Elina was looking at Monika who was crying out to welcome her sister.

“What are you doing there? Elina, that's my sister. Get him in!” said Monika.

Elina nodded awkwardly, then gave way to Matthew to get inside the house. Monika immediately wrapped her arm around Matthew's arm, taking him to meet the Goddess who was in the kitchen.

“Elina, please give milk to Justin, keep sleeping in him, yes?” Monika delivers a fully loaded bottle of milk, which Elina takes to the upper room.

At that time, Matthew's eyes never separated from Elina who was climbing the stairs. Monika caught him, smiled and patted him on the shoulder to aghast.

“That's her name Elina, Justin's governess,” said Monika, putting a glass of orange juice in front of Matthew.

A nanny? Matthew frowning. “Since when did he start work?”

“Udah three days.”

Matthew gulped down his juice, before saying: “That's what Big Brother told his nanny? So, brother wants to hire him until the trial is over?”

“Em. Nyari nanny who fits Justin hard—although Justin son easily close to anyone aja—but I like the cooperation of Elina,” replied Monika. “Elina very dear Justin. So, I'm defending him.”

Matthew smiled silently. So, she likes kids? He was amazed by the new nature of Elina.

Monika looked up, saw Matthew and smiled ignorantly. “People are beautiful, yes?”

Matthew glances. Actually, he almost ate pranks Monika and had groggy. But he hid it under the pretext of taking a glass of juice and drinking it. Then, he responded to Monika, trying to look calm:

“Yes, beautiful. She is a girl. Ganteng time.”

Monika sneered at him with a nod of her head. “Yes too, huh?”

Then, the Goddess came from the direction of the top floor, exclaiming to welcome her son with a warm embrace. Dewi was very excited to prepare a favorite food Matthew, which he cooked himself specifically for him.

The three of them ate and talked. Dewi was so happy to talk about the move of Matthew who stayed long in Jakarta. Finally, he could be with his children again.

Elina accidentally steals the hearing when she returns to the kitchen to put the empty milk bottle. His heart skipped a beat of anxiety: if Matthew stayed here, it meant that their meetings would happen frequently. He wanted to avoid that man.

“Elina, has Justin slept?” call Monika, when you notice Elina's presence.

But Elina did not come forward, too preoccupied with her thoughts, instead washing Justin's milk bottle.

“Elina!” Monika called back in a rather loud voice.

Elina flinched and turned to Monika, Matthew also spontaneously glanced at the girl. “Iya, Mistress?” elina sahut after waking up.

Monika sighed, astonished. “So I was the same you.”

“Oh, about Justin? Yes, already sleeping.”

This was the first time Monika saw the girl unfocused. What was on his mind? And now, his gaze was shifted to Matthew who glanced at Elina silently. In his mind another question arose.

The bottle had been washed, and now Elina had returned to the upper room to clean up the toys. Matthew had also finished his meal, then got out of the chair.

“Ma, Brother Monik, I'm tired, want to rest first,” said Matthew.

The goddess nodded, and Monika directly helped the Goddess clean up Matthew's eating marks, after the man had passed.

-;-;-;-

Elina took a breath. Justin is like a king, all the toys in the store must have been bought by his parents. Toys of various types splattered on the spacious upstairs terrace. He was quite overwhelmed to clean it up. The box to store all this seems to need to be added because of the number of rankings.

Sweat that felt pouring on the forehead rubbed with the back of his hand. Containing one fetus makes him tired quickly. Fortunately, the child he was raising did not make it difficult.

One little box was full, and Elina would pick it up and take it to Justin's room. But suddenly his hand held him up and almost fell if someone did not hold the box.

Elina looks up. His eyes immediately met with sharp blue eyes but stored a softness there, belonging to a man.

“Your body is small, don't force yourself to lift that heavy,” said Matthew, who then snatched the box and took it to Justin's room.

Another speck of attention, which made his heart feel warm. Elina looked at Matthew long ago, still dumbfounded. The feeling that once came up again. Why like this? Since that night, the night after, and now, why has the man mastered his feelings and thoughts?[]
