[Season 2] CHAPTER TWENTY NINE PART 1

Anna's eyes were round, astonished to see Jonathan's family had been sitting opposite his father. Her mother glanced and grabbed her arm.

Anna simply shook her head in response. Eventually, neither Logan nor his parents told him.

Elina turned her head towards him as soon as she realized his arrival. He smiled, then glanced at his son. "Logan, bring Anna here."

Logan was dumbfounded for a moment, rising from the chair clumsily. He approached Anna, then reached out to her, as soon as he got in front of her.

"Come, come with me" he said half-heartedly.

Anna looked at the hand in confusion. However, he accepted it anyway, and let the man take him to a sofa to sit beside him.

Her mother was sitting next to her father at the time. "Tasya, please make some tea."

Tasya glanced at her brother for a moment, smiling, before walking towards the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, we came without any prior notice" Matthew began.

Dad smiled awkwardly. "It's okay. But, may we know what it means to have you here?"

"Previous, I'm Matthew. This is my wife, Elina. And there's my son, Logan," Matthew said, pointing. "We came here to propose to Anna for our son, Logan."

Unexpectedly, Anna and Logan are shocked. This plan seemed unknown to the man. Mom and Dad were shocked, but then smiled, even though they were confused.

"I don't care about this. I leave all the decisions to Anna," replied the father, glancing at Anna.

Anna simply smiled forcefully, then turned her face away while grumbling inwardly. What decision? Be married? Didn't he tell Elina and Matthew?

It's good news, my mom's smile is so wide. "How's Anna? Do you want to take it?"

"Em ...," Anna muttered confusedly, thinking hard.

At that time, Tasya came with a tray containing tea. Adnan followed while carrying three jars of cookies, which were then served on the table.

"No problem." Elina smiled, grabbing the teacup.

Her guests sipped tea with delicacy, except for Logan. It felt hard to swallow anything, even just a mouthful of water.

"Sorry, before Anna answers, we want to tell you something" Matthew said, after putting the cup to the table. "There's one other problem that's quite holding them back."

"Logan and Anna have different beliefs" explains Elina.

Father and mother were getting more and more stunned while staring. Anna looked a little, seeing their reaction.

"Please think again" said Elina. "The thing is, it's for our good. Anna's pregnant with Logan's child."

Anna looked up, her puffy eyes staring at the woman. He wiped his tears, replying with the rest of the sobbing, "Mrs and Master are not at all wrong. Anything else covers it up, it will eventually be revealed as well."[]
