Mathelina
Chapter 2's

Oh, Please!

“You're crazy, huh?” snapped a handsome man, gasping for breath, sitting beside Elina who was looking at him with her two rounded eyes.

Austin, suddenly ran towards Elina who had almost fallen from the bridge. He jumped up and grabbed Elina's hand, then pulled her back to the side of the bridge. Austin sat down, catching Elina's body in his arms.

Why did Austin save her? They've broken up, and his feelings for Austin have died—all that's left is hatred. But why does Austin still care? Is his love for Elina still there?

Nah! Why was Elina's brain still spewed by such thoughts? The principle, once discarded, will not be seen again.

Then he stood up, shaking his hands against his clothes and pants from the dust. Without saying anything and without even glancing at Austin in the slightest, he left that place.

“Elina!” call Austin, prevent his move from getting further away.

Elina closed her eyes. What else do you want? Not enough to understand him with the word “break” he uttered last week? He himself was content to hear all his explanations, which showed that he did not love Elina. He's so selfish. He did not want to be harmed and risked his good name if he helped Elina from the bullying at that time. How could Elina understand and give a second chance? The more he listened to it, the more unreasonable excuses there were. Just make the heart ache even more.

So too this time. Elina turned around, seeing the man walking slowly towards her. He snorted, really did not want to see his face that was clear.

“Elina, i..”.

“Thank you for helping me earlier,” serobot Elina lowered her head, then hurried to turn around. “I excuse—”

“Lin!” Before Elina could fully turn her back, Austin grabbed and held Elina's hand. “Please, I want to say.”

Elina took a breath. So narrow the chest cavity when the wound re-opened and tears immediately blocked on the eye fertilizers. Why was she born to be such a weak woman? Just a little bit of the eyes had runny, and were easily withered by the man's speech.

“Nothing needs to be talked about,” said Elina slowly but firmly. Slowly release Austin's hand. “I don't like to talk to strangers.”

Austin's gasp sounded frustrated. Had to use a way especially so that Elina would turn a little to him. During the week of separation, only today there is a chance to meet. Wherever possible, he will miss it, because everything must be clarified, and their relationship can improve again.

“Listen to me for a moment..,” the door is clear.

“If you just want to say an excuse, I won't listen to it,” timpal Elina sharp.

“Elina, don't be like this..”.

Elina started to grow furious, and immediately turned around. The adoring gaze that Austin often saw, turned cold. The figure of Elina he knew had changed.

“What? Oh, do you feel guilty now that we broke up badly?” sela Elina quipped. “Alright, I forgive you. Now, you can breathe a sigh of relief and move on with your life. Can I go now?”

Austin was almost desperate to hear such a cold and hateful remark from Elina. But she won't do anything stupid anymore, Elina won't let go. She held onto both of Elina's shoulders, forcing her to look at her face with those beautiful eyes.

“I can't let you go. I know I'm selfish. But I've realized that ... I can't live without you.”

Elina bellowed, blatantly showing her cynical smile at the man. “You can't live without me? The theory is, you can't live if you don't eat and drink, nor do you breathe with oxygen.” he replied sarcastically. “If you use the stale term or the rhyme of Khalil Gibran to seduce me, it will not work. There I want to vomit hear it.”

Austin gaped, his hands beginning to loosen. The old Elina was completely lost. There was no gentle gaze, but a stare full of humiliation. Elina's tough attitude dashed her hopes of being able to hold her hand, hug her, or even feel the warmth of love just for her.

Elina walks away, just as love goes away and will never come back. This hand can only reach, but it cannot reach the girl.

This is the end, painful love. Elina leaves while wiping away her tears, confirming that life is still going on without love. Losing love may be better than loving but hurting.

Just like her mother.

The journey to the house feels heavy. His feet stepped reluctantly down the alley into the narrow alley. He just got home from work at the mall. In addition, he also went around the place to meet his acquaintances.

For most of the day around, not getting any results. He intended to borrow money, but they could not give it away for various reasons. They also need money for personal use.

Elina could only understand. After all, 30 million money is not a small amount. Can't owe just one person to make that kind of money.

He looked up. The sky was almost dark. The sun is already tilting west. In about 3 hours, he will return to work. An hour, maybe enough time to rest after getting better.

As he was about to enter the alley towards his house, he heard a loud cry. He peeked a little; he saw two thugs standing in front of his house banging on the door.

Elina hurriedly hid. Ah, there's-there's just. Why in times like this does trouble arise?

“Elina! If it doesn't open too, we'll break through this door!” exclaim bald and fattened thugs.

Skinny thugs and long-haired chiming, “Iya, right! So, quickly open the door!”

A short and fat woman, wearing a green negligee came over to them. He reprimanded with a loud booming voice, until the two thugs had shuddered.

“Whispering! Don't see what, it wants Maghrib?”

The two thugs glanced at each other, dumbfounded to see the woman nagging at them. Although they look scary, their guts are shriveled as well. They said a little quietly, because mothers are usually more violent when angry.

“Sorry, Mom. We have the same business of the owner of the house,” replied the skinny man.

The woman looked towards the back of the two thugs. “Eh, want to get your hair gray too, the door will not open. Don't see what, the door is padlocked?”

Padlocked? The two men glared, immediately looking back. Aye! Why is it that big, but it's a small brain? Then, they turned back to face the woman while grinning in shame.

The woman distracted their attention. As long as they hadn't noticed it, Elina had to rush out of here.

He walked slowly without a sound. Unfortunately, the bald man looked at Elina, then exclaimed while patting her friend's shoulder and pointing at Elina.

Elina shuddered. Without turning his head, he immediately ran as fast as he could, out of nowhere this leg took him. From alley to alley, he ran. This was advantageous, the two men had a hard time chasing after him because many people were passing by in this alley.

However, before reaching the end of the alley, Elina's breath was already decapitated. His feet were tired of running. His running pace was getting slower, while the two men were almost getting closer. Even so, Elina was unwilling to give up, she ran as hard as she could hoping for help to come.

When he almost exited the alley, suddenly a white motorbike flashed. Elina and the driver were shocked. Elina was almost hit.

Elina was also stunned for a moment. Hearing the screams of the two men, without a second thought, he rode on the woman's motorcycle in a panic.

“Sketan, Ima!”

“But why?” the woman asked, looking in the same direction as Elina.

“Udah, just walk! My name is storyain.”

Although somewhat confused, the woman nodded and immediately started her motor engine. Eventually, Elina was temporarily freed from those people. They were unable to run the bike, and today they were forced to go home without successfully carrying out the duties of their boss.

Raima Delila, the sexy woman is Elina's best friend since she moved to this city. She's a really nice woman, but a little chatty. Just look, while walking to get two glasses of cold water for her and Elina, she did not stop raving.

A glass of cold water was placed on the table, close to Elina's seat. Raima sat down beside Elina, chugging the refreshing cold water into her throat. Then, continue the conversation.

“What amount, anyway, Bokap lo debt?”

Elina looked down, bitterly answering. “Ten million plus flowers. So, twenty million.”

Raima placed her glass on the table of light brown teak wood with a tight, making a sound that was quite surprising to Elina. “Crazy! Really, yeah, it's rentiernir! Kayak leeches! Anyway, why does Edi owe him? Must be gambling again? Hadeuh! Why a kind Sri mother can marry the same om Edi, anyway.”.

Raima gasped after glancing at Elina. He cursed and hit his mouth softly that likes the origin of the sound and can not be brake if it has spoken.

Elina chuckled, but could not hide that bitter reality. Raima was right, why would God pair a good woman with an irresponsible man like her father? Are you blinded by love? Couldn't this be punishment? Her mother was a woman who always kept her honor and attitude. Then what happened? He often heard that women are good for good men. But the truth is different. With the various examples of stories and experiences she saw, made Elina's belief in God even more shaky.

Raima who felt bad said, “Sori, Lin—”

“Nothing,” between Elina weave, then reach for a glass filled with cold water.

Silence occurred as long as Elina gulped down half a glass of cold water. Raima who still feels guilty, does not know what to say. Any remarks could not comfort Elina at this moment. Perhaps letting her calm down until her sadness wanes is the right course of action.

But this kind of situation feels strange. Elina did not want to torture Raima in regret. He smiled, nudging Raima's downed arm.

“Udahlah. Why think try? I never entered your talk into the heart. To the ears just do not enter, especially to the heart?” jest.

Raima's eyes were rounded. “Masa? So all this time, you never heard my talk?”

Elina shakes.

“Resek, lo! Not tired of talking mulu?”

“Emang I told you by the way?” seductive Elina, then laughed.

“Oh, yes, Lin. So, what's your plan now?” asked Raima then, after her laughter had subsided.

Elina glanced in the other direction and fell silent. That's what he thought too. Earning 50 million dollars overnight, is that possible? Repayment time range at least until the day after tomorrow. Borrowing money is something that can be done.

Now, the glint of his eyes was pointing at Raima. It was hard to owe Raima a debt, but it was doubtful. Raima had absolutely no problem lending her money. It's just, 50 million ... does he have?

“Em .. I think you want to minjem money, nih?” guess Raima's origin, who realized the intent of Elina's glance. “Quiet, I pinjemin. But only 5 million. I want to send money to my parents. It's okay, right?”

“No need, Ima.” Elina prevents Raima from getting out of her chair.

During her stay in Jakarta, Raima worked as a prostitute for the medical expenses of her ailing mother and her school-age bontot sister. Both do not know, that the money was obtained in a way that is not halal. Raima said the money sent was the result of her efforts while working as a secretary in a small company.

Elina did not want to trouble Raima. The woman also needs money, although Raima has no objection to helping her.

Raima looked at him in wonder. “Why?”

“Em .. lo know not a job vacancy whose salary is good enough?” asked Elina to divert.

“Lo intends to find a job to pay your mother's operating costs? Kelama.”

Indeed, but rather than borrow money to Raima? Maybe he would borrow money from his friends, even though it had been tried, and ultimately failed.

“Ya .. I'll pay money with other friends.” Elina's reply sounded discordant because she was a bit doubtful.

“Yakin?” asked Raima, who seemed to have understood from Elina's words and expression.

“Em .. Yes!” elina answered, trying to look convincing. However, before Raima offended him again, she hurriedly shifted the subject. “So, you know the work that the salary is big, no?”

“Create what? You already have two jobs, right?”

“Emang, but make a backup. You see, the money was to pay the debt.” Elina responded quickly. “Lo know, right, I don't like to owe? My life is not calm, if not quickly behindin.”

Raima clenched her mouth, then got out of the chair. He walked back and forth to think, putting his hand on his chin. Elina, meanwhile, watched him until Raima answered him.

“Not there, anyway? But ...” Raima glanced at Elina, doubtful. “Ah, not so!”

“Why? Say aja!” urged Elina, as soon as Raima sat back down. “There's work, right?”

“But, Lin...”.

“What work will I do, halal origin.”

When he heard the word “halal”, Raima was more hesitant. He fell silent, despite how hard Elina pressed him. But in the end, he gave up. Perhaps this idea was bad; and for whatever sake, he did not intend to lead Elina astray in the wrong direction.

“So, what's the work, Ima?” ask Elina again.

Raima glanced doubtfully. His breath was restrained, then exhaled before saying, “Her work .. sell virginity.”[]
