[Season 2] CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Kenan watched Anna and Logan in turn, frowning full of question marks.

"What's this about? Why are you guys lyrically so?" chirps.

Logan and Anna nodded and threw each other away.

"I'm sorry" said Logan, nervous.

"OK," said Kenan, smiling.

Anna just kept quiet not seeing it. However, as soon as Logan walked away, Anna noticed the man's back, muttering inwardly:

What happened that night was an accidental accident. My life won't be ruined just because of it. Time went on, and I had to move on, including, "after that, he turned to Kenan who was smiling, "trying to accept others."

Anna's smile flashed, making Kenan's smile wider. "I can't promise this afternoon."

"It's okay, no problem" said Kenan. "How about dinner?"

"Alright," Anna replied as she nodded.

Yup! Kenan's heart seemed to jump with excitement. Things like this alone made him very happy. A good start. He doesn't want to hope for anything now, let it all go.

Because of dinner, Kenan took the initiative to pick up Anna. His presence in front of the office entrance, let alone seeing himself together with Anna, invited the attention and gossip of the other employees. Anna was also angry.

"Anna, come!" said.

"Neither your car?" ask Anna.

"Yes dong."

"How about my bike?"

Both of Kenan's hands were put in his pockets, smiling as he said casually, "Love your address and your motor key. My driver's gonna take her home."

Anna was skeptical of the idea. Is he trustworthy? What if the bike was taken away? To make it ugly, the bike is still useful.

Kenan answered Anna's doubts by saying, "Take it easy, my driver can be trusted."

"Nr ..." Anna pursed her lips. "All right." He took the motor key in his bag, then gave it to Kenan.

Kenan receives the key, then takes Anna to where her car is parked. There, a man in a driver's uniform was standing near the car.

So, Kenan gave the key to the driver. "Sir, please take the motorbike down there to Miss Anna's house."

The middle-aged man nodded, and began to pull out his phone, which was then given to Anna. The girl also typed her home address in an application note from the driver's phone.

Kenan stretched out his arms to let Anna into his car. Smiling, Anna greeted him. Just then, Logan appeared from a distance, looking at the scene.

His phone rang, and Logan picked it up. "Hello. Is there any news?" He listened to the words said by the caller. "good. Later, come to my villa."

🍀

"Where do you like to eat food? China, Japan, or Korea?" asked Kenan, when he drove his car out of the office. "Now, it's Halyu wave time. You must like Japanese cuisine, right?"

Anna laughed a little. Men like Kenan may not know about halyu wave. He must have deliberately wanted to melt the atmosphere alone.

"Can. How about we just order some spaghetti, or some kimbab?" Anna chimed in with a slur as well.

Kenan laughed. "You're smart to get back at me too, aren't you?" His laughter subsided, and he again said, "Okay, okay. Now, this is a serious question. What do you want to eat?"

"Should have been, the one who decided was the one who invited dong to eat." Anna finely insinuated.

"Hmm ... right too, huh?" muttered Kenan, nodding. "But if I'm the one who chooses, you're afraid you don't like it."

"It's just that if you follow my taste, you don't like it, even" Anna said. "So of course, my taste is kampungan."

Kenan turned his head for a moment, saying quickly, "How much is your taste buds anyway? Fried rice? Meatballs? Chicken noodles? Or the light of the moon? All that food was my favorite since high school, you know."

Anna chuckled for a moment. "OK ... how about eating satay padang?"

Anna pointed out the direction in which there was a satay paddocks shop most delicious subscription. Kenan was only stunned when he entered the simple stall that was quite crowded. Anna smiled amusedly at him. Looks like Kenan was here for the first time.

"full. Where do we eat?" ask Kenan, worried.

Who says there is no empty space? With her sharp eyes, Anna found a place that fit only for her and Kenan.

"We're sitting there!" anna exclaimed as she pointed at a long table, where there was an empty seat at the end.

They sit facing. Kenan was still looking around, as if not used to this kind of atmosphere. A question came from Anna.

"Are you uncomfortable eating in such a crowded place?"

Kenan looked over, smiling widely. "No. I haven't eaten in a place like this in a long time. Because it's checked by the western culture of the times, huh?"

Anna held her chin up, smilingly looking at Kenan. Such an attractive guy with a pretty funny innocent speech.

"Not really. But because you don't have time to travel to places other than the Mall" Anna's circus.

"Waw, you're pretty brave too, huh?" exclaim Kenan, instead of praising.

Kenan is supple and funny, enough to tickle Anna's heart to get closer to her. Or perhaps, Kenan could indeed conquer a bit of Anna's heart? Kenan is good at making Anna smile fluffy by her words.

While chewing and staring at Kenan, he muttered inwardly. "For the first impression I got from Kenan ... 'Lumayan'."

A file consisting of several sheets of paper was given by a young man who looked quite intelligent. She was Logan's secretary.

Logan took the file and read it with a frowning forehead. Then, he looked at the man standing near his desk. "Are you sure this is the original report?"

"Of course, sir," the man replied firmly. "Miss Anna is indeed placed in room 101, while your room is at number 201."

Logan pondered and muttered, "No way. I was delivered by the waiter...." Suddenly, he was stunned.

If it was the wrong room, the maid could not possibly have the same key, unless she had bad intentions and was wearing a spare key.

Logan held his chin up, and let out a long sigh. "If so? What's the motive for doing that?"

"I mean, Mister?" asked his secretary, frowning in wonder.

Logan gasp. "Sir Evan, I want to see the CCTV footage I requested."

Evan reaches into his suit pocket, takes out a flash disk, which is then handed to Logan. Without wasting time, Logan plays CCTV footage the night he gets drunk and walks into Anna's room.

The footage is very clear, but Logan still hasn't found anything suspicious. The waiter's face was not visible on CCTV because it took a position so that his face was not recorded. The waiter was too smart to be investigated.

Logan hits his desk, growling in annoyance. His forehead was massaged while leaning on the back of the chair. "In this case, how can we find that servant?" mumbled riled.

Evan thought for a moment. "Did you remember how the maid's face and name were?"

So, he moved closer to Logan, opened some sheets, and stopped at a document "Data of employees on duty" on that day.

"Try you find them here" said Evan again.

Logan looks for the appearance of the waiter from various photos and the identity of the person. A moment later, he sighed, desperate.

"Nothing," he murmured disappointed.

"If his name?" ask Evan.

Her name? It was a little difficult, because he was drunk. However, he tried to remember it again until his forehead shrunk.

His eyes closed tightly, reciting the name on the maid's name tag. "Sep ..ti .. tian Ha. Yep! Septian Halim!" Suddenly opened his eyes, exclaimed, then looked at Evan.

"Septian Halim," repeated Evan, rushing to find the name on the document. After meeting, he pointed to a photo. "Is he the one?"

"No," Logan answered, looking at a picture of a man with a tapered cheek, narrow eyes and an adorable.

The two men were getting confused. Why is it like this? Did Logan misremember the maid's name? Or the....

Logan squinted. Quickly, his gaze turned to Evan. "Sir Evan, please investigate that man named Septian Halim!"[]
