Mathelina
[Season 2] CHAPTER LIMABELAS

Brak!

The rickety wooden door was opened tightly, standing a silhouette that quickly entered into the dark room, approaching the teak cabinet whose color had faded.

The figure's breathing was hunting, putting the origin of some clothes and valuables in a bag. He was stunned when he heard the sound of the door being forcefully opened. The more he panicked, speeding up his work, and left the other door.

A few seconds later, the door of this house opened, several men in black suits came inside and started to search this house.

"Not anywhere, sir," a man told his boss after he finished searching.

"Mean, he has run away," muttered the big-bodied, thick-moustached boss. "Quick, search outside! Chances are, he hasn't run away from here yet!"

The order was immediately executed. They are huddled looking in a narrow alley in the suburbs of the capital. The scorching sun burned their spirits in search of Septian Halim.

The man they were looking for was running with his pale face on a football field filled with children playing.

One of the men in uniform managed to find him, and followed him there. "Don't run!" he shouted, until the children on the field turned to him.

The man he hunted was getting tighter while tightly holding the black bag on his chest. Therefore, the man in uniform pulled out a gun and shot it up.

Suddenly, not only the man, but the people who heard him turned a deaf ear. The man squatted down, closed his eyes tightly and trembled.

As the man in uniform approached him, Septian Halim muttered in fear, "Please, forgive me ... I don't know anything, sir. Please don't shoot me...."

Both of Septian's hands were bent and tied by the uniformed man.

"Sir, I've bent Septian Halim" the man reported by telephone.

"Great work! Later your other friends will follow, then take him to the car," said the boss.

"Good, sir."

Anna pondered, letting the copy machine copy a paper. The ringing tone of his phone broke the daydream, a phone came in from Kenan.

"Hello."

"I'll pick you up, okay?" kenan.

"No need, sir. I'll take the bike," Anna refused, after sighing.

"Rejected again" complained Kenan, but still sounded a cheerful tone. "So, when can we go home and eat together again? Can we get closer?"

Maybe not for now, Anna thought. But he won't reveal it. Hence, he fell silent for a while to look for the right word.

"Em—"

"Don't tell me next time, will you?" sela Kenan, then chuckled. "The creative dong."

"I don't want to say that" said Anna, not admitting that it was what she really wanted to say.

"Em, okay. So, what do you want to say?" teased the man with a scornful tone.

Anna pursed her lips tightly. "Dine, give me some time to get to know you. Can you?"

There's no sound across there. Anna was worried that the man would become disappointed. However, unlike his thoughts, Kenan's laughter sounded later.

"of course. I'll be patiently waiting for you, Anna" said Kenan as if blowing a fresh breeze that relieved Anna's heart. "But I want to be honest with you."

Anna smiled. "Honest about what?"

"From the beginning, I liked you."

What is this taste? Anna's cheeks flushed red, and her heart felt warm hearing the love statements she often heard from other men. Really, he's lost his word.

"Okay, it's a long time ago, yeah. Careful home." Kenan added. "Don't daydream. On this, don't think about it, okay?"

Don't think? After Anna hung up the phone, the words rang in her ears. Less work consumption.

Is Anna starting to like that guy?

Rather than thinking about it, it was better for Anna to grab a document to finish. However, he was pensive again while holding his chin.

"Wine is good, but—"

"Anna!" yell at someone who made him jump.

"Yes!" sahut Anna, look straight at me. "Eh, Gita."

"Bengong. Not home?"

"Aah!" Anna immediately glanced at her watch— already at 5 pm. Hurry up once a day to pick up dusk.

"Yes, I sorted out first, yeah," said Anna, collecting some files, turning off the computer, and putting her things in the bag.

"Yes, already. I go down first, yes," said Gita, going up.

"Wait for me dong."

Gita stopped and looked a little. "Gue wants to be with Jojo."

"Jojo?" anna muttered in surprise, her forehead frowning. "Isn't he just breaking up? Don't tell me, you're turning him back on?"

Anna once taught her that turning back the former would be a toxic relationship and a foolish decision. However, Gita has another strong belief in her love.

And so, he replied to Anna with a slightly clear tone. "Silent or not, he deserves a second chance."

"But he's gonna hurt you again, Gita Asmarani."

"Hurt heart? Face it. After all, that's a love risk. I'm not a coward, you know! Just because of the heartache. At most, just cry for a moment, keep forgetting."

Gita's smile was reassuring, but Anna remained worried. The girl left, and Anna watched her until her figure disappeared from view.

"It's also Gita, too" Anna said. "Gue is too cowardly to lose heartache."

Anna's out of the office. The atmosphere of the parking lot is very quiet, there are only a few vehicles. Her feelings were ordinary, not thinking something would happen to her.

He did not heed the sound of steps behind him. He thought, there was an employee who just left the office. However, suddenly Anna's hand was grasping and pulling her violently.

Anna looked quickly. "Hey!" His eyes widened, then stupefied. "Sir Logan?"

"Follow me! Here!" sergeant Logan pulls Anna.

"Sorry, Sir. But can it be fine?" Ronta Anna's.

"Women like you, don't have to talk well."

"What do you mean, Father?" asked Anna, frowning in annoyance.

"Don't ask too many questions!"

Logan drags her along, no matter how hard Anna breaks away from the man's clutches. Anna was forced into a car.

"Ouch!" Anna grimaced as her body was violently flung down. "Sir! If you still want to ask for an explanation about the incident that night, I will still answer: I am also the victim, and you raped me!"

Logan was bored and annoyed to hear it. Whatever answer Anna says, it will be useless because Logan only trusts his own theory.

"I know what kind of woman you are" he growled. "You're gonna do everything, even do disgusting scenarios for the sake of making money."

Anna shook her head in despair. What more must be said for the man to believe him?

Logan feels victorious with Anna's silence. Her face was brought close to Anna's face, so the girl inched back in intimidation. Moreover, the man grinned, further making him tremble.

"Look! To unmask someone, I need bait. And I've caught anyone who can reveal your true guise."[]
