Mathelina

Mathelina
[Season 2] Part THIRTY SEVEN

A cup of warm tea is served on the dining table. Logan grabbed it and sipped it slowly bitterly. Anna sat beside him, looking pity but saying nothing. This incident must have made Logan sad.

"You must be asking, why is my mom like that?" logan said as he put down his teacup.

Indeed indeed. "If I asked, you would say: 'not your business. You're a nobody!', that's it, right?"

Logan squinted. Oh, he understands, Anna must want to be recognized, right? "You're the daughter-in-law of this family, your last name is now 'Jonathan'."

"No. My last name remains 'binti Ali Syarif'" Anna said.

Does Anna not understand that Logan actually wants to say that she is now the wife of Logan Jonathan? Ah, whatever. Logan sipped his tea again by soaking his rage.

"Lunch, yuk!" anna said after being silent for a while.

"I don't have appetite."

Anna knows, but she can't let Logan's stomach empty. Could hurt him later. "Come on! The baby asked his father to eat with his mother."

Logan smiled cynically. "It doesn't make sense, make a child an excuse?"

Anna nodded, then blushed. "Just don't believe it. Others cravings even stranger."

Still, Logan took it as a joke. Even so, Anna still did not give up on persuading him.

"Yes, already. Don't mistake me, if this baby was born with drool that keeps dripping."

Logan doesn't know this absurd thing is a threat or not. "alright. Prepare food!"

Anna smiled widely, moving to the kitchen table to prepare food that had been cooked with the help of the waiter.

Elina felt better the next day. Anna came to the room to bring him breakfast. He realized Anna was standing in the doorway. He smiled, then said, "Come in, Anna."

Anna approached. A tray of fried rice and milk was placed on the nightstand. "Where is Mama?"

"It's better. Yesterday, you must have been surprised?"

"Yes, anyway."

Elina looked at Anna while weighing a decision. Can he tell his bitter past to his son-in-law?

"The woman" said Elina, pensively. "It's Morgan's killer, my son."

Anna raised her face, stunned. He finds out that the family has a son other than Logan.

"Twenty-five years ago, when Morgan was 5 years old, there was a woman who claimed to be a waiter and picked him up early from school" Elina told the publication. "My husband and I were panicking, sending guards to find Morgan. About 5 hours later, the kidnapper called us."

"My heart aches," sobbed Elina, then sighed. "Heard the sound of Morgan's shivering. He calls me constantly .. Just for a moment."

"But the kidnapper was still unwilling to release Morgan, until my husband acted to investigate the kidnapper. Even though we've found the containment location, unfortunately .. We're already late…."

Elina's cry grew, Anna immediately hugged him and said softly, "Udah, Ma. Don't continue."

Anna was also unable to make Elina reveal her old wounds that were so bitter. He let Elina let out her cries, until she was tired.

Although there was still a slight huff, Anna waited for the cry to subside. Then, he said, "Ma, would you like me to have breakfast? Eat a little, yeah."

"What did my grandson ask for?"

Anna nodded uncertainly while smiling. Elina luluh's. The food that Anna was delivering was brought by her to the kitchen so they could eat together.

Even though Anna had breakfast earlier, this was how to persuade the woman to eat. Because, from last night Elina only ate a little, Anna was worried if it could affect her health.

A middle-aged woman in a bule manner, enters Logan's office. However, what he was looking for was not the man, but someone whose position was more important than his.

As he arrived at the man's room, the secretary who was outside the room immediately intercepted him. "You who? Sorry, you can't go straight in" the bespectacled young man said.

The woman opened her glasses, looking at the man lightly. "Surge! I need to meet Matthew!"

"Have you made an appointment?"

"I don't have to make any appointments to meet him. Move over!"

With her fingertips, the woman pushed the secretary. However, the man still tried to intercept him, causing a commotion in front of the room.

The woman was very stubborn, and was finally able to barge into Matthew's room.

Matthew looked up, surprised for a moment, then his gaze was cold. His secretary paled, then apologized to Matthew for failing to prevent the woman from entering.

The smiling woman won. "Do you remember me, Matthew?"[]
