Mathelina

Mathelina
Chapter 47's

People say, all brides are queens a day. The woman will be the most beautiful woman on her happy day, in a beautiful white dress.

Elina smiled. The makeup results from a makeup artist, turning her into like a prettiest queen with her magical hands and equipment. The makeup artist was so satisfied with the results of her makeup.

"You are so beautiful" she said. "Are you happy with the result? Or is there less?"

Elina shook her head, glancing at her interlocutor from the reflection of the glass. "No, I really like her make up.

The makeup artist turned around, tidied up her equipment before leaving. However, he had a glance at Elina who was massaging her forehead, accompanied by a hissing sound.

"You sick?"

"No" answered Elina. "I just feel dizzy."

While putting a brush into her make up box, she teases Elina. "Maybe because you're nervous. Soon, you'll be a wife."

Elina just smiled blandly. The pain won't make her laugh at the makeup artist's jokes.

"Would I get you something? Medicine and water?" The woman offered.

"No. I'll just sit here. Who knows, the pain is gone."

But even though the makeup artist had left 5 minutes ago, her dizziness was unbearable. Elina got out of the chair and went out of the room to the kitchen. The glass he took from the dish rack was filled with water until it was full, then he was dipped in it along with a headache reliever.

He sighs. Hopefully this drug reacts quickly, so that the wedding ceremony will not become chaotic. A second later, he was pensive. Imagining himself and Matthew making a solemn promise, witnessed by God, the universe, and the invited guests. His smile was bright if he imagined it.

The glass was placed in the sink, and he would walk out of the kitchen.

Without realizing it, someone entered the kitchen area through the back door whose keys had been sabotaged, without the slightest sound. The person whose face was covered by that mask, approached Elina.

Before Elina reached the kitchen doorstep, the man rushed to smother Elina's mouth with a white handkerchief that had been drugged. Elina tried to rebel and scream, but the attempt failed. That person's hand was too strong to hold his body, and his voice was inaudible from being smothered.

Within seconds, the medicine showed its reaction, Elina was unconscious. Before anyone saw them, the man carried Elina on his shoulder, leaving the place through the back door.

-;-;-;-

Frasya sobbed to tell Matthew the incident, while Mother fainted, upon hearing of Elina's disappearance, and was taken to the room.

Matthew stood his back, squeezing the end of the chair until his hands turned white. He growled. Who is the mastermind behind Elina's kidnapping? And what's the motive? He can't leave it like this! He got out of the house, turned his car as fast as he could. He'll find out where Elina is.

Kevin, Fritz, and Franz go after Matthew. But unfortunately, the man had driven his car. The three of them looked at each other.

-;-;-;-

Matthew entered the police station. He immediately made a report, before the policeman finished his question. The whole incident was told in detail, even until he urged to look for Elina now.

However, the reply from the police infuriated him. He kicked down the table, cursing while pointing at the man in the brown uniform.

"Why wait 24 hours! My boyfriend couldn't escape. She's kidnapped!" At the last word, Matthew said it with great emphasis.

"Please be patient, sir," the police said. "It is better to look for du...."

How can he be patient! The police sayings fed him up, and decided to get out of the police station. It's free to ask them for help. He can, he can find it himself.

The sound of his phone located on the dashboard rang, not long after the car left the police station.

"Hello, Kevin?"

"Where are you? We'll go look for him" Kevin said.

"I want to see my dad."

"Isn't he back in England?"

Matthew snorted.that must be just the reason for William's secretary. He was sure that his father was the mastermind behind Elina's abduction. Anyway, he'll find the old man, even if he has to break through the security guards at the airport.

"But, Matt.." said Kevin who was surprised to hear Matthew's words.

Kevin was disappointed, his phone was closed by Matthew. Frans and Fritz waited for him to speak.

Kevin shook his head. "He's gonna follow William to the airport.

Monika approached Kevin asking for the truth she had heard earlier. "What's? Is he sure that my papa kidnapped me?"

"Although the evidence does not yet exist, but he believes that it was William who kidnapped Elina."

Monika sighed. I hope nothing bad happens. He hoped, Elina would return soon, to calm the hearts of all those who were worried about her.

-;-;-;-

The man entered the airport with his secretary. His smile was like someone who was happy. It had been a month he was in Jakarta - maybe he missed his young wife, so he felt good to see her again.

"William!"

That loud cry obliterated her sweet smile, and ruined her happiness. The dissident's son was disrespectful to call upon the man who had given him a little of his blood in order to live in this world. He looked irritated, just for a moment, after which his smile grew.

But his smile was a mockery to Matthew. William saw the embers of great anger in the eyes of his youngest son. Instantly, his heart shrunk, unable to widen the tip of his lips like before.

"Where's Elina?" matthew asked, still holding back.

"Elina?" William's voice sounded somewhat shaky. "Let's go, how do I know. As her lover, you should be"

Enough of his bullshit, Matthew has lost his temper. He grabbed William by the collar, then he snapped, "WHERE'S ELINA!"

Cold sweat is getting worse. William's eyes were pale. His secretary swiftly separated Matthew from William, but Matthew gave him a rude blow until he fell over.

William turned his gaze back to Matthew. "I don't know."

The grip on William's collar was tightened, Matthew raised his body, his clenched right hand held up. But the sound of the cell phone stopped his movement. William's body was nearly knocked down, and Matthew picked up the phone.

"Matt, someone saw the car that was carrying Elina" Kevin said.

-;-;-;-

The pounding headache pain made him realize. His body feels floppy. Sunlight pierced his eyes, he squinted at him then turned his face away. He felt helpless now, weak from an imperfect consciousness. He felt his hands unable to move, constrained by a rope, just like his feet. He wanted to make a sound, but no words came out because his mouth was covered with black duct tape.

He looked around, panicking. He realized that he was in the trunk of a sedan car, which was driving somewhere.

Again, he screamed. Still no sound. The restraint ropes he tried to remove, but it was difficult. Matthew, Matthew, that's the name in his heart. Wiry, desperate, frightened, accompanied by a sob.

There were two men chatting behind the wheel of a car. Not a single sound from them sounded familiar in his ears. They are the kidnappers. But why was Elina kidnapped by them?

"Bos says where does this girl want to be found?"

"No idea. Anyway, look in a place no one will know."

A dark-skinned man, speaking after smoking a deep cigarette. "There-there's, boss. Time to kidnap a bride?"

"Let's go! Most importantly, we've got money." Then they laughed, which sounded creepy to Elina.

He's getting confused. Her marriage plans are in danger of failing. Matthew, Mother, and the others must have been anxious, searching for her whereabouts.

It felt like crying, but it was not the right time to despair like that. He tried to get up, reaching to the rear window of the car. He looked up, trying to look outside.

The car was driving on a single track without a barrier. To his right and left lay several acres of rice fields - there were only a few houses - and grasses. From a distance to the West, seen rows of new buildings that look like apartments. The more the wheels of the car rotate in its lane, the clearer the final place of this car stop. Wharfs.

-;-;-;-

Matthew runs towards Kevin, Fritz, Franz, and a man who witnesses Elina's abduction.

The man, who is in his 30s, said he saw a man whose face was covered by a mask, holding a woman in a white wedding dress.

He was about to line up while exclaiming, but the car had sped up. It is located right near a meadow, which is not so far from Elina's house. Since it was still early in the morning and not many people had woken up, no one was aware of the abduction.

"Do you know what the license plate number is?" matthew held back his anger.

The man glanced upwards, trying to remember. "Yes, I remember!"

After taking down the license plate number, the impatient Matthew rushed to the police station. He pleaded with her to trace the license plate.

The owner of the car changed. In fact, the car had been stolen from its original owner, after investigation. But the police did not stop there. They restore Matthew's hope, by seeking a search in several places installed by CCTV.

The kidnappers were ingenious, they went through a road that CCTV did not reach. Matthew is smarter.

Before he reached the police station, he ordered his secretary to prepare some men. He sent out a license plate to investigate and search for her whereabouts. Just soon!

Just as the police declared his incompetence, Matthew's phone rang. One of his men reported the search they were conducting.

Matthew listened seriously without interrupting and looked serious. For a long time the water of his face changed, and he frowned and cried out in surprise:

"What's? The dock?"

Kevin, Fritz, and Frans looked at each other, curious. They cringed in wonder. Why would the kidnappers take Elina to the dock? Don't tell me that....

Their appalling conjecture has not been revealed to Matthew. The man hurriedly left the police station, after hanging up his phone.[]
