Matthew opened his glasses. A sharp and unwelcome look led to Austin, who warned: "Don't approach my woman!"
Austin looked up for a moment, then said hesitantly in confusion and disbelief, "Prewedding photo?"
"Yes. I mean not just her, but she'll take a picture with me, her future husband," replied Matthew quickly, next staring at the friendly Elina.
Elina was astonished. What the fuck? Elina's face flushed with it, blushing to listen to Matthew's confession in front of Austin, too.
"Oh, so?" austin said clumsily, then spread out his right hand. "Come on, come on in."
The shoulder that Matthew embraced why it felt uncomfortable, huh? Did Matthew mean to do this to make it look so friendly? But Elina felt this was too much.
Matthew looked straight at one object, and that was Austin. Elina thought, maybe Matthew was jealous? If you think about it, be amused yourself. Why be jealous if he always says that "i belong to him"? No one will take Elina from you, Matthew!
Austin led them to a table, with two female employees sitting behind him. They smiled friendly. Meanwhile, he walked towards the stairs, which led towards the upper floor.
"Can I help you, Mom and Dad?" ask an officer, from
on her right chest is her name, Helena.
"We've made an appointment for a prewedding photo" replied Matthew, who subconsciously, his smile had fascinated the woman. And Elina knows it.
Upon awakening, the woman flipped through the pages of a book clumsily. "Ah, yes! Mr Matthew Jonathan, huh? Go upstairs, the photographer's waiting."
"All right."
Matthew gently sighed Elina's body to walk first in front of him. They climbed the stairs on the right side near the entrance.
They were surprised to see only Austin there, turning their backs to them while checking his camera. Is he the photographer?
Austin looked over and smiled. But in Matthew's eyes, that smile was only on Elina. And so, he pulled Elina's waist, tightened it against her body.
"Okay, Mr. Matthew and Miss Elina. Please change clothes first, while some of my assistants prepare the background" said Austin.
"Lho's? I asked for his background in an open space" Matthew protested. Somehow, since then Elina felt Matthew look sewot continues.
"Right," said Austin, walking over. "But we took a photo for the wedding invitation cover, that was Monika's mother's message earlier."
All right, Matthew's giving up. He stood unwillingly as well as irritated, walking towards the changing room. While Elina who felt bad for Austin after the treatment of Matthew earlier, she immediately apologized to him.
Matthew's aggressive nature comes out, as they pose in front of the camera. Elina felt strange and uncomfortable. The photo results so look contrived, although not everyone will realize it.
The next shoot was carried out near an artificial lake in his family's villa, at Matthew's request. The afternoon sun, with a beautiful orange sky, makes the lake water like a jewel hiding in the water, sparkling.
Matthew and Elina had changed clothes, but not the wedding dress, but the clothes of the English people in the 18th century. Elina wore a long blue dress, her hair curled and stroked. While Matthew, dashingly wearing a shirt coated by a white vest and a long coat of black, also matching colored trousers. They look like Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennet.
Seeing Elina wearing the dress, Matthew admired her even more. She is very beautiful, despite wearing any clothes she still looks beautiful.
He walked over to Elina, who was looking over and smiling, as soon as he noticed her coming.
"It's like I'm seeing an English princess" Matthew praised, starting again to make Elina blush.
A glasses girl came up to them, saying that the photo shoot was about to begin. Matthew reached out his hand, and Elina received the helping hand with a big smile. They walked side by side towards a pedestal, then stood near the end of this ledge.
Matthew and Elina start posing, but Austin feels their style is less friendly. Austin approached, briefing Matthew.
At first, Matthew felt fine as the man began to show some poses. However, as soon as Austin touched Elina's hand to put her on Matthew's waist, let alone the man shifting his position and demonstrating the pose along with Elina, it was exhausted of Matthew's patience.
Who wants prewedding photos? Why would Austin, who was standing in front of Elina, put his hand on the man's waist, and hug the waist of the woman who would belong to Matthew?
Matthew sighed Austin's body violently, keeping him away from Elina. "Don't touch my wife!"
Elina was stunned, then her face flushed red. What he heard wasn't wrong, was it? Wife? They just did a prewedding session, how can you say that? But even though it was a bit embarrassing, Elina was quite happy to hear it.
Austin who felt shocked and unwell apologized. "I don't mean to fuck around. I'm just telling you his style."
"Omong empty!"
As Matthew grew angry, Elina came forward and tried to calm Matthew down. He held her arm, gently rebuking her.
"Matthew, please. Okay, huh?"
"What did that mean? You like my wife?" accuse Matthew. "She is beautiful, but you should know that she already has ME!"
"Yes, I'm sorry but I...."
"What?" cut Matthew sharp. "If you want to show me the pose, you just tell me. Don't you look at him and touch him."
Matthew's getting hot, he's not even listening to Elina. Matthew's voice grew even higher, there Elina stood slightly to the center and broke up. But what happened, Matthew shook Elina's hand rather strongly. As a result, Elina staggered, and as the high-heeled end of her shoe tripped, she lost her balance and fell into the lake.
The two men looked over and were surprised.
"ELINA!" matthew cried out in panic.
He rushes, opens his coat, and jumps into the water to help Elina. The water in the lake was not deep, so Elina did not drown. Only, the dress was too long making it difficult to reach the mainland.
Matthew walked up to him, then carried him back to the titian. Seeing Elina shivering, Matthew immediately put on the coat he was wearing and hugged her.
"Come, we'll go to the villa." Matthew shuddered from the cold as well.
Elina nodded. Matthew held her, then walked past Austin, who in the depths of his heart felt somewhat jealous of them. Honestly, yes! She still likes Elina.
Matthew exclaimed for a maid, as soon as he entered the villa. He orders the fat middle-aged woman to make warm water for a bath and a warm drink, while he takes Elina to the room.
About half an hour later, after Matthew took a warm bath and changed his clothes, he went to Elina's room. The door was slapped, and it was opened after an invitation from Elina.
Matthew grew even more fearless, when the woman's face did not show any expression. The catch is, the woman must be angry.
His hands clasped tightly onto the glass that contained warm ginger milk. He began to wobble and refused to step. But when is it like that? It is impossible to allow this milk to be cold and undrinkable. Really, this woman made him weak!
"Here, ginger milk. Drink up" said Matthew, standing next to Elina.
Elina took the milk from Matthew's hand, then placed it on the nightstand. "Thank you." After that, he looked back at Matthew.
Being stared at like that, naturally made him even more awkward. Elina was annoyed to see him like that. Make what flinch there, with speech held on the tongue, as if what he was facing was a fierce teacher carrying a long ruler. That was what Elina thought of the man now.
"Matthew." Elina patted the empty space at the side of her bed.
Is this a sign that Elina is not angry? And again, the lady smiled faintly. Matthew so did not hesitate anymore to come to him and sit on the empty side. He was relieved, now the word could be spoken without hesitation.
"Matthew, do you doubt me?" elina asked, soft but serious.
Why should I ask that? Matthew hurriedly grabbed Elina's hand and grasped it. "Absolutely not."
Elina was silent for a moment, staring at the man's long-goals that could be seen from her sincere answer. Yet.... He took a deep breath and breathed a long one.
"Austin was my ex-boyfriend, before we met."
The word was stuck in his throat because doubt had slipped in his mind. He waited tensely. I don't know what kind of reaction that's going to show on that guy's face.
"Before we slept together in a hotel 2 and a half years ago?" matthew asked clearly, and Elina nodded in response.
There was a bit of relief - at least, Elina had forgotten about Austin and loved him now. But Austin, maybe there's still a taste in Elina. Worth it!
Seeing Matthew turn his face with a huffed expression, Elina concluded that honesty even more messed up. But if it is not explained, the misunderstanding is even widened.
His grasp was tightened, successfully making Matthew turn back to him. "I didn't mean to hide it from you. It's just, I didn't find the right time to say it."
There was nothing more he could say. Matthew simply smiled blandly, then turned his face away again. Right now, his feelings are quite hurt. Elina understood that, it was bitter to know this kind of reality. However everything must be explained, no one can be covered up. Moreover, their marriage was only counting days.
"We've discussed this before, that love...."
"It must be based on trust" Matthew said.
"Yes," said Elina, smiling. "If everyone points to you that you're wrong, then I won't doubt you, unless I see the evidence. That's love."
Matthew was silent for a moment, pondering back before Elina again said:
"It's up to them to say I'm blind, stupid, or something. The only one who really knows your love is me."
And who knows how sincere Elina's love is Matthew himself. Oh really, he feels guilty. Being too blinded by jealousy, she became afraid that Elina would leave her side and be snatched away by the man. Because of that too, he made his loved ones wretched.
"I'm sorry, Elina." Matthews. "I'm jealous. I was too angry because that man was trying to get your attention. You saw him touch you!"
Elina smiled gently. "Natural jealousy, Matthew. But if you believe in my love, there will be no hint of jealousy. That's even better. Because I prefer Matthew who is gentle, than Matthew who is angry."
Elina's laughter rubbed off on Matthew. It feels a little better now. They fell silent after, then looked at each other. Matthew grabbed Elina's forehead and kissed her gently.
Ah, the woman who sometimes weakens him, also sometimes gives him strength. Elina is fragile, but why would you make this grumpy guy go down?
"Drink milk. It will be cold" Matthew said afterwards.
"Yes." Yeah."
It was almost cold milk. Elina quickly finished her milk, then gave her glass to Matthew.
Matthew's out of the room, letting Elina rest tonight. Actually, he wanted to make out and sleep with her. But because of the incident earlier, he should not bother him first.
A few steps after leaving Elina's room, Matthew runs into Austin. He ignored it and continued walking. However, Austin stopped in front of him and called out to him.
"Please don't get me wrong" Austin said. "Actually, I don't mean to...."
"Not to be explained" Matthew said, cold. "Elina told me. Tomorrow, please take another picture of us there. And I'll have my maid prepare a room for you and your assistant."
Austin was flattered. A good man. He murmured in his heart. As Matthew walked past him, he said, "No, I...."
Matthew looked over his shoulder. "Riding at night is dangerous. Anyway, we're still wearing your services. So, just stay overnight, and make preparations for tomorrow's shoot."
Austin nodded. But Matthew did not return to his steps, he said with a smile, "I'm very happy for Elina's marriage with you." Then he pondered, smiling bitterly at the flash of past memories that flashed for a moment. "Elina will love someone she chooses. But when his heart is hurt, there will be no place for that person in his heart."
Matthew didn't say a word. Whether what happened to the relationship Austin and Elina first, if from the look and the meaning of his words, Austin wants to tell Matthew to always take care of Elina's heart. Of course, he received the message. He replied with a smile, then turned around and walked away.
Austin kept looking at the man, until he finally vanished into the room next door. A feeling of happiness and relief crept into his heart. Genuine smile. Although now there is a little regret, he will let go of Elina and pray for her to always be happy with her love.
-;-;-;-
Frasya leaped up excitedly from her chair, after seeing herself so beautiful after having been groomed. Her knee-length green dress that Elina bought so matched her.
It's not because that makes him happy. Today, her sister is getting married! He can't wait to be herding his bride.
Because of his impatience, he wanted to meet his brother who was in the room. Perhaps, at this moment Elina was finished. Half-running he went to Elina's room, knocking on her door while crying.
"Sister! Brother! Can I come in?" he shouted, then prepare the camera on his phone. He'll take a photo with Elina.
But really, no answer? Bizarrely. He tried to knock on the door again and cried out louder. He opened the door, looking for answers to the bad conjecture he had thought of earlier.
It wasn't that Elina was fainting or in the bathroom that made her dislike Frasya, that she wasn't anywhere. Elina's missing![]
