Johan's Confession

His initial intention that said he could only accompany Arsenio on vacation between three days increased to be longer. Johan had been in Jakarta for a week and he did it because he had promised Amanda that he would help Amanda find out what was really going on with someone named Alan.

Johan, who knew that Rizal could help him, chose to be honest with Rizal. "Pa, haven't slept?" he said he went into Rizal's office.

"What about you? Why aren't you asleep?" rizal asked Johan back, but still focused on staring at his laptop.

"There's something I want to talk to Papa about" he replied.

"Amanda and your children are asleep?" rizal asked again looking at Johan at a glance who nodded his head.

Johan hesitates, but for the sake of himself and Amanda, Johan tries to calm down and dispose of all his doubts. "I want to ask Papa for help" he said, shifting Rizal's focus to Johan.

Rizal, who initially focused on his work, closed his laptop and sat in front of his son who was already sitting on the sofa available in his study. "What's wrong?" tanyanya was curious to see the look on Johan's serious face.

"There's something you don't know about us" Johan said nervously.

Rizal just kept waiting for Johan's explanation. "Me and Amanda have not been as close as husband and wife. We're still friends as early as I used to say, but lately I've been feeling something different. The friendship is no longer just an ordinary friend, it seems like my heart has accepted the existence of Manda in my life and Arsenio," Johan said for the first time frankly about his feelings other than Vani.

Although initially surprised, but the smile on Rizal's face they heard his son's confession. Hearing Johan's words made Rizal feel very happy when finally the son was able to open his heart to other women besides Vani.

"Papa's happy to hear that, Jo. That's what you've been expecting all this time." Rizal couldn't help but feel his pleasure, he got up close to Johan and hugged him.

Seeing his son manage to get out of the shackles of the past makes Rizal so grateful when it turns out that God did not punish his son like he who without anyone knowing still harbors deep feelings for the late ex-wife who hurt him.

"But I don't know if this can be called love, I just feel good about it" Johan said.

"Let's know, I haven't been able to decide or talk much about it, Pa. What is clear is that I can only decide after I know the clarity of Alan's status," Johan said again making Rizal speech confused to hear it.

"What does this have to do with Alan?" tanyanya's confused.

"This is the main reason I want to ask Papa for help. I want Papa to ask papa's man to find out about Alan, whether he's alive or really dead" Johan replied.

"Yesterday Amanda saw a man who looked a lot like Alan. Manda is sure it's Alan," continued Johan understand if Rizal has not understood his point.

Rizal was still silent. The middle-aged lung man tried to digest all of his son's explanations. "Life or gone Alan, what does that have to do with you? Papa doesn't understand."

"Amanda was very sad to think about it all. He always slumped every time he remembered Alan and got worse after yesterday seeing someone similar to Alan. He even went to Alan's parents' house just to turn it all off but what was obtained was precisely insults and mockery. I felt sick and could not accept that Manda was treated that way and that day I realized that I was accepting Manda's presence in my life. I don't want anyone to make her sad or hurt her."

"Then?" ask Rizal again.

"I want to find out if Alan's really alive, how does Amanda feel about Alan? If Amanda still loves Alan, it means that our relationship will only be limited to friends. However, if Amanda no longer loves Alan, in the sense of just wanting to solve his past that can be said to be complicated and unclear, then after all revealed, after Manda completes her past, Manda, I'll ask Manda to seriously marry me. Starting things off like a real marriage," Johan replied again making Rizal smile at hearing that.

"What if he loves that man and prefers him?" johan asked continuously to test the changes and maturity of her son.

"If she loves Alan and wants to come back with him, then I will help her towards that happiness. I just want the people around me to be happy" replied Johan increasingly making Rizal proud of him who had changed for the better.

"So, Papa can help me, right?" asked Johan again touching Rizal's hand.
