A few days passed. Vani's life is back as usual, even without Johan's presence again in his life.

Vani is really a strong woman, it does not take long for Vani to be able to control himself without having to cry again Johan figure.

Vani realizes, crying over Johan will only hurt himself. Like Johan who easily let go of Vani, Vani will also easily let go of the love he has for Johan.

Vani does not want her love to torture let alone destroy her life. Vani is determined to get up and live a better life than before.

"Pa, Mama. Your prayers are still with me, aren't they?" murmured Vani stared at the sky from the balcony of his new apartment.

New apartment? Yes, Vani decides to throw away and leave all the memories of Johan out of his life. The first step Vani takes is to sell the old apartment and move to the new apartment he currently occupies. Although much smaller, but Vani is happy to be able to get a unit next to his friend–Esi.

Vani has removed all traces of Johan from his life.

The sound of a bell roused Vani from her daydream. Vani quickly stepped out of the room.

Vani breathes a long breath before finally opening the door, when the door is opened, Vani is shocked to see the whereabouts of his old friend, his childhood friend whose house is not far from Vani's parents' house.

"Hi is beautiful" said the beautiful woman smiling, then hugging Vani who still did not expect her presence.

"Karin."

"Yes, it's me. I miss you" said the woman named Karina. "Can I come in?" continued.

"of course. Come inside!" take Vani to sit on the sofa there.

"When did you come back? Why not tell me? Me and Esi can pick you up" asked Vani.

Karina was silent. She felt both happy and sad to see the firmness of her best friend, Karina had heard everything that happened to Vani from Esi. Karina and Esi get to know each other through Vani who often makes video calls with Karina. Karina plans to return home next month from Germany, but after hearing the story from Esi, the German girl decides to return soon.

Both Karina and Esi always admire the figure of Vani who can always face everything calmly. Shouldn't today be the worst day of Vani's life? Because today is the day the man she loves gets married.

"Hey, there's no need to apologize. It's all my destiny. I'm fine, don't blame yourself for what happened to me." Vani smiled gently rubbing Karina's hand.

"You got an invitation from him?" asked Vani whom Karina responded with a nod of her head.

"We don't have to come if you don't want to go there. I'll stay here with you. Esi too," said Karina holding Vani's hand.

"It's okay, Rin. We must come to pray for the happiness of Johan and his wife. I'm not okay, we're not a match," Vani replied smiling as if showing that she was okay.

"Please don't try hard in front of me.

I know that your heart is very broken right now. Take all your complaints out, Van. I'm here with you" said Karina, who could not help but cry at Vani's stubbornness.

"Don't cry. I have cried enough to let go of all my burdens, disappointments, and pains in the past few days. And after crying, I promised I would never cry again.

Like you said before. A soul mate, sustenance, death, someone has arranged it. I believe everything you say. I need your support, not your cries. So stop crying." Vani wiped Karina's tears and hugged her.

"I always wish you all the best, you are a strong woman. I've always been proud to be your friend, Van."

The sound of the bell coming back made the embrace of the two come off. Those who already knew who had come, rushed to open the door.

"Are you sure you're going to attend Johan's wedding reception?" asked Esi a while after they were already in Vani's room.

"certain. They invited me. So I will be there to pray for him, as well as strengthen my heart if he really is not mine anymore" replied Vani calmly.

And hope tonight is the last night we meet. Vani continued in his heart

"alright. Later that night we gather here and come together there. We will not leave you alone" Esi looked at Vani and Karina who nodded her head in agreement.
