What's Really Happening

Fifteen minutes before the office hours ended, Juna had already arrived at Vani's office parking lot working. If Arjuna used to always use a driver, now Juna chose to drive his own car just to be able to spend time with Vani. 

The man smiled when he saw that Vani was out of the office and had already walked up to him. However, a moment later the smile on Arjuna's face changed to a cold face when he saw a man approaching Vani.

Very quickly Juna got out of the car, approached Vani and wrapped his hands around Vani's waist which he was a little surprised to make, but when he realized it was Juna, he was, Vani smiles because everything Juna does does does does not look strange anymore he thinks.

"Dear, who?" juna asked as if he did not know the middle-aged man who was currently standing before them.

Vani answered. "He's Rizal's uncle, Johan's father!"

"Uncle, what's wrong?" tanya Vani tries to calm down to face her former uncle and former future father-in-law.

"Someone you want to talk to, do you have time?" Rizal asks Vani while keeping a close eye on Vani's face, making Vani feel a little awkward as this is the first time they have met in person.

"No. We have business." It was not Vani, but Arjuna who answered.

"Are you engaged?" asked Rizal again seeing the closeness of the two.

"Yes, we're getting married soon. So, please tell your beloved son to stay away from my future wife. Aware of her married position and aware of Vani's position who is my future wife. Between Vani and her there's no connection anymore, so stop chasing my future wife."  Without hesitation, Arjuna very firmly said all that.

Although Arjuna spoke to him, Rizal's gaze was still on Vani and it really made Arjuna feel annoyed and jealous. Arjuna would not willing any man to stare at Vani for so long like that, seeing that, Arjuna slowly pulled Vani's hand to stand behind him, closing Rizal's gaze to stop staring at Vani.

"Don't tell me you like my women too" Arjuna said very closely.

"Vani is very similar to my late ex-wife" Rizal said with a sad face. Rizal's eyes even looked filled with guilt and it made Vani who saw him again stand next to Arjuna.

"Uncle is okay?" Vani asks while touching Rizal's arm, and it all makes Rizal's feelings more erratic, so does Arjuna who quickly pulls Vani's hand that touches Rizal and re-embraces Vani to just stick to him.

Without saying anything, Rizal chose to leave from there as Rizal himself grew increasingly confused by his feelings. "I'm sorry, Ren!" he said after being in the car.

"Eitherway. You see for yourself I haven't even got an answer from him" Vani replied as he first stepped towards Juna's car, as Vani realized some people were watching them.

"Darling, what's wrong with her? Why does he look sad? And about the words he said ex-wife. Whatdoes thatmean? She was married before Johan's mother?" ask Arjuna again when they are in the car.

"Your men are not careful, if you do not know the answer," Vani sibir laughed softly.

"Papa has a beloved sister named Irene and Rizal's uncle is my aunt's ex-husband" Vani replied. Vani who was cheerful at that time looked moody and it made Arjuna even more curious. Because what Vani says is true if the man does not provide more detailed information. In fact, Arjuna was the one who did not really hear the explanation of his men other than just about Vani.

"What's really going on? Why did he say your face looks like his ex-wife?" ask Juna again.

"That's right, because we're so similar, many say my face looks a lot like Irene's aunt. My aunt died the day I was born. Before I died my aunt always took care of my mother and loved me very much, my own aunt asked me to give me the name Stevani, as her name Irene Stevani. Mama said before she died she said she loved me as much as her own daughter." Vani involuntarily shed tears recounting an incident that only he had heard from his mother's explanation.

"Died? It hurt?" ask Juna again.

"Auntie was depressed after uncle Rizal cheated on her and it turned out that it had happened long enough. Aunt only found out about it after 2 years uncle had an affair.  Even the uncle had married secretly and had a son, Johan. My aunt chose to end her life. Mama said aunt also said if she's happy I'm here to replace her. At that time no one thought bad about the words of aunty who often messed up when crying. But that night her aunt was found dead, with an apology letter in her hand," Vani replied trying to stop her tears from flowing out as if she could feel what her late aunt was feeling.

Arjuna who heard that also felt the sadness that Vani felt, Arjuna understood the reason the Johan and Vani families did not mutually approve of Vani and Johan's relationship, because there has been a story in the past that holds a lot of suffering.

"Dear, forget everything. All has passed, we pray that Iren's aunt will always be happy up there." Arjuna took Vani into his arms, gently rubbed Vani's back, trying to calm her down.

"Oh, yeah. I have a surprise for you. Let's go before it's too late!" arjuna said, diverting the conversation.

"What surprise?" asked Vani to stop her crying, looking at Arjuna.

"named surprise. You'll see, now let's get ready first!" arjuna started driving his car.
