While everyone was sleeping peacefully, Amanda was still awake. Manda had already turned her body staring at Johan who for the first time was on the same bed as her after they got married.
Manda realizes their marriage started due to a misunderstanding, but all of that has passed and their relationship is going well. Guilt sometimes approaches Manda, especially when she sleeps with the man who is her husband, but her mind occasionally thinks of Alan, even asking her husband to help solve her problems.
'Don't know what our relationship is called, Jo. On the one hand I feel comfortable living with you, but on the other hand my heart still wants to find out about Al. And could not accept the fact that his family said because it all stuck in my heart. What would happen if I went back to Alan, Jo? Will you let me go? Will you let me go with another man?' Questions that only Manda could say in his heart.
As a woman, Amanda admits that Johan looks perfect. The man who became her husband had a good physique, a beautiful face and well-established. Johan was also a good man, never did Johan hurt or offend Amanda after they got married. Since they agreed to be friends, Johan really treated Amanda very well which sometimes also not infrequently made Amanda carried away feelings.
'If we like each other, complement each other and be a couple like any other couple, it looks like it would be perfect, Jo. Everyone will envy our relationship, but unfortunately that is not possible when another woman's name is in your heart.
Manda twisted her body lying on her back staring at the ceiling of the room she was in. Angan Manda begins to bring her memories with Alan, other than Alan, none of the Alan family is kind to her, all of that is very different from Johan and the people around Johan. Being next to Johan made Amanda very respectable and very well appreciated by almost everyone. Thinking about it all made Amanda even more confused in making a decision.
'What do you expect from Alan, Nda? If he's really alive why isn't he looking for you? Why should you think of someone who doesn't think of you?' Manda's inner voice seemed to give a difficult question for Manda to answer.
Moments after Manda fell asleep. Johan opened his eyes. Manda's previous movements were staring at him after waking up Johan's sleep, but the man kept his eyes closed so that Manda did not feel embarrassed because he had been caught staring at him.
Johan raised his head, making his hand as a rebuttal as Johan wanted to stare at Amanda who was lying next to him. Other than Vani, Johan never looked at women for so long as he did Manda. A smile rose on his handsome face as he looked at the beautiful face of the woman beside him, the woman who held the status of his wife.
"I don't know what's special about you, Nda, so your presence is slowly able to make me forget about Vani. But surely I feel grateful to meet you and have absolutely no regrets about marrying you," said Johan softly with one hand tucked the hair that covered the beautiful face behind Manda's ear.
I don't know when it all started, but the more days Johan felt their relationship was getting closer as well as his heart, and all that the more Johan felt at the tomb. Seeing Amanda grieving was very torturing to her and seeing Manda smiling was a joy in itself for her, therefore Johan promised himself to always make Manda smile even if later had to release Manda if Alan was the choice of Manda in the end, even though in his heart he really hopes Manda will age with him.
"Sleep my wife, sleep well" Johan said, consciously peeling Manda's forehead gently, before closing his eyes.
