Invitation for Dinner

Vani stretched his muscles after he finished his work, today became a busy day for him because there was a lot of work, more than usual. Vani looked at the clock that had shown at half-six, for that Vani rushed home.

Vani came home alone, because Esi had already returned home picked up by his lover. The girl smiled when she remembered Johan always picked her up at work, but now everything was different.

No, Van. Don't remember it anymore. Forget that! His words inwardly brushed off every memory that came to his mind.

Just as Vani exits his office building, the man Vani tries to forget is actually there, acting innocent, smiling while standing next to his car, just like he used to whenever he picked up Vani.

Vani passes Johan without any intention of greeting him, Johan who sees it rushes after Vani. "Don't you dare touch me!" vani snapped as Johan almost touched her hand.

"Dear, I'm sorry. Come back like before, I love you so much" said the man made Vani feel disgusted to hear it.

"Seeing your attitude like this makes me feel even more stupid for ever loving a man like you." So coldly Vani said.

"Johannes. If you really love me, please stop harassing me. Please let me live in peace. It's enough you've hurt me, please don't make my life harder with the insults of those who would accuse me of being a snatcher of people's husbands. I beg! Let me live quietly" said Vani again before finally getting into the taxi that had just stopped in front of him.

Johan who heard all of Vani's words could only fall silent. What Vani says is true, but to let go and forget Vani, he cannot do it.

"How do I make up for all my mistakes, Van?" johan was frustrated.

Vani arrived at his apartment at exactly 6 pm. The distance of his office and his new residence is not so far away, because it only takes a few minutes for Vani to arrive at the apartment.

Just now Vani's laying her body on the couch. The sound of the bell rang and forced Vani to get back up to see who was coming.

"Sorry, who are you?" vani asked in surprise because she did not know the man who was currently standing in front of her, but also felt like he had met somewhere.

"Sorry to bother Miss. I'm Dika," said Dika sounding nervous.

"I'm Vani. Can I help you, Mr Dika?" ask Vani.

"Look, Miss Vani. My boss is a new resident here. He asked me to invite the occupants of this building to eat kalam at his residence as a greeting. Hopefully his presence, Miss," said Dika directly to the point on Vani.

"Okay, okay. Thanks for the invitation, sir, I will try to come. I just got home from work, maybe it'll be a little late" replied Vani trying to smile, though he felt really tired and wanted to rest.

It's just fitting that Mr. Juna likes it. This woman is beautiful, soft and has its own charm. Dika commented inwardly fascinated by Vani's smile.

"Master!" Call Vani wave her hand in front of Dika resuscitating Dika from her admiration

"Yes, I'm sorry Miss. Then excuse me." Dika quickly left with his shame because he was caught staring at Vani.

If Mr. Juna finds out I admire his woman, I can finish my history.. Inner Dika shuddered in horror imagining it.

"There's no harm in me coming, after all I'm also a new resident of this building, and he's right in front of me. At least I can get to know the other residents here, too" Vani murmured as she stepped inside the bathroom.

In his place, Arjuna looks relaxed even though he really feels nervous. The feeling of nervousness that he had never felt before, even while working on a big project Arjuna was never this big.

Dika gaped at the question of his superior. Arjuna had never talked about anything about personal life, all that came out of his lips was about work and always about work. When hearing Arjuna's question, of course, Dika was surprised. Admittedly if his master's attitude lately is very different than usual, but to fall in love, Dika has not thought in that direction. He thinks his boss is only interested in Vani, but he hears Arjuna's question, as if confirming that Arjuna does not just like Vani.

"You want to be silent forever? I'm asking you!" snapped Arjuna was upset when Dika did not answer his question

"Sorry, Sir. No." Dika answered flatly because all of that was true. A brilliant career has been the goal of Dika so far that he has no time to think about the business of love

"What do people feel when they fall in love? Do you know?" arjuna asked again with serious eyes waiting for Dika's answer, although he had heard that Dika had never been in love.

"Huh? What, Mister?"

"You, Deaf? Do I need to repeat it?" Dika returned to upset Arjuna.

"No, Mister. Excuse me. From what I hear, when I fall in love, of course people will feel happy. Feel life becomes more vibrant and meaningful. Always misses even though we meet often. It was nice to see him smiling and sad when he saw him sad.

Having a partner makes life feel more colorful. Whatever and whenever it is, he is always the first person who is always present in our minds. Just remembering it can make you smile, just imagining it can ease your emotions. When something important happens in life, he is always the first person we want to tell and share. When we see something beautiful, we hope to enjoy that beauty with it!

Whatever he does, even the most ridiculous thing in the world, we can still smile and accept it.

With him we understand what patience is! No matter how busy we are, we will always set aside time to be with him.

"Where do you know all that?" ask Arjuna again, because almost everything Dika said Arjuna had felt since meeting Vani.

"From an article I read as a teenager. Is Mr Juna in love?" tanya Dika made sure even though she knew her question would not be answered honestly by Arjuna.

"No," replied Juna quickly stepped inside his room.

Oh God. Mr. Juna's face blushed. The cold man seemed to be able to look ridiculous like that. Inner Dika chuckled.

Assisted by some of the servants he brought. Dika starts preparing a romantic dinner for Vani and Arjuna. Although Arjuna will not acknowledge his feelings, but from the way his superiors ask Dika to create a romantic atmosphere, answer all questions Dika.

"Not just interested, but, Mr. Juna is really in love," muttered Dika.

A while later, after all the preparations had been completed. He asked the servants to go home.

The sound of knocking on the door rang out, Dika quickly approached Arjuna.

"Master, it seems Miss Vani has arrived. I go home" said Dika from outside the door of Arjuna's room when he heard bell's voice.

"Please enter Miss Vani." He let Vani in. After Vani enters, Dika goes out of there leaving Arjuna and Vani both.

It is certain that Miss Vani will return upset and argue with Mr. Juna when she finds out that the new residents there are Mr. Juna, moreover, there are only them there. It's not like I said if my boss invited all the apartment dwellers. Haha
