Neighbor's Blanket

Neighbor's Blanket
Chapter 49

"Sa, I have nothing to do with Mr. Agam." I answered without daring to look into Mr. Airlangga's eyes. I don't know why Mr. Airlangga could ask me that.

It seems impossible if Mas Agam tells us about our relationship. Moreover, I am still the wife of Mas Dirga. Mr. Airlangga will definitely hate me a lot and look at me as a cheap woman. I'm sure Mas Agam won't make me look bad in his Papa's eyes.

"You two are the same." Mr. Airlangga snorted in annoyance. He seemed dissatisfied with my answer.

"If you love each other, why avoid it." His speech. Now I understand why Mr. Airlangga calls me and Mas Agam the same. Apparently Mas Agam also denied there was any relationship between us.

To be honest I felt a little sick about it, but I knew Mas Agam was doing all that to cover my status. Besides, I'm still someone else's wife, and Mas Agam doesn't introduce anyone else's wife to his parents.

"Sorry sir, but I and Mr. Agam have nothing to do but a job relationship." Once again I made it clear there was no connection between me and Mas Agam.

"Then why Agam refused an arranged marriage with my business partner's son." Mr. Airlangga looked frowned.

"I want to see my son happy by marrying a good woman. I also want to have a grandchild."

"Please help me persuade Agam to accept this match.".Her request.

For a moment I was silent, there was a tightness in the chest that just burst out.

How can I ask Mas Agam to accept the match, while I have feelings for him.

"Well sir, I will try to persuade Mr. Agam." I forced a smile amid the stifling feeling.

...*****...

I returned to work after reporting to Mr. Airlangga. The footrest feels floating, my mood has been chaotic since I was in Mr. Airlangga's room. I walked to my desk.

"You why Bi.?" Mas Agam rebuked me.

I, who was struggling with my heart and mind, just turned and shook my head briefly. Of course while carving a smile to cover the anxiety of my heart at this moment.

"Don't lie." Seriously assertive. Apparently Mas Agam doesn't believe that I'm okay.

"Did Papa complain about your work.?" Mas Agam looked curiously.

I shook my head in response.

"Not at all. Mr. Airlangga received my work well." I'm honest about it, but I don't dare to say anything about the other chatter about Mas Agam's matchmaking.

...****...

At 4 pm I and Mas Agam left the room. 1 hour ago I had informed Mbak Sita that I would come directly to his house after returning from the office.

"I'll take you Bi, don't try to resist again.!" Firmly Mas Agam with his deep voice. His facial expression showed that he did not want to be rebutted again.

"But Mas, what if my friend is suspicious to see me get off the luxury car Mas Agam.?"

"She couldn't believe that I was coming by taxi online." Say worry. Considering the Mas Agam car is quite luxurious, it is certain Mbak Sita and the others will not believe if I say using an online taxi.

I think back and consider it. But again Mas Agam urged me that I want to be carried away by him.

In the end I obeyed Mas Agam's words by getting into his car.

I brought souvenirs typical of Bandung that I deliberately brought to the branch office when leaving for work.

"We stopped by the cake shop for a while. Bia want to buy additional souvenirs from Bandung just a little." My word. Mas Agam turned his head at a glance while nodding his head and small wheezing.

Mobil Mas Agam stopped in front of the famous A cake shop in Jakarta. When I was about to go down, Mas Agam even prevented me.

"You just wait here, let me buy it." Said with a firm eye. I don't protest because I'm afraid of another debate. What else Mas Agam immediately rushed out of the car and into the cake shop.

No more than 10 minutes, Mas Agam has returned with 5 large paper bags in both hands.

The guy won't even want to when I'm going to change the money.

...*****...

"Geez Dek Bianca, it's getting pretty." Sita hugged me as soon as she opened the door. I hugged her back.

"I miss the same mother." My voice was almost gone because it was stuck. It feels like I want to spill the burden of my thoughts and household problems on Ms. Sita.

But somehow I prefer to keep quiet and keep all these problems alone.

Not long ago, Mbak Nilam and Mbak Weny came to the house of Mbak Sita. It just so happens that Sita's husband is out of town, so we can freely chat and vent here after a few months of not gathering the four.

"So you actually work Dek.?" Ask Mbak Nilam while siphoning off the cake I brought.

"I thought it was just a joke. Your husband never wanted you to work. Is Dirga's salary less Deck.?" Nilam spoke with a mouth full of cake.

"Telen first Lam, later if the sprain smell tau tau rasa.!" Catch Madam Weny. But he also went along to eat the cake while talking.

"Here, you're the same Wen.!" Sita's mother reprimanded. Although they spoke in a cynical tone, no one was offended. They even giggled and made me laugh.

"Yes, I haven't been working long. The boss at home is nothing. Tau myself I don't have a neighbor who can be talked to the streets." I again complained about my new living environment which is much different from the environment here.

"The Deck, if elite housing is so." Said Weny.

"By the way, why was it down in the front block.?" Madam Weny's question made me gulp with great difficulty. I think that between the three of them no one saw me down on the front block.

"Indeed, the taxi driver did not want anterin until the front of the house.?" Sita Mbak.

"Ehh, that's Ma'am, I'm the one who asked to come down in front.because I bought a drink first at the stall." I smiled stiffly, afraid of being caught lying to them.

"Mbak anyway just a glance doang pas you again standing in the front block, because it was mbak rush. And it's not even if it's you. Just saw you here." Terang Mbak Weny's. After hearing his words, I was a little relieved. What else Weny did not ask any further. It means that Ms. Weny did not see me when she got off the luxury car Mas Agam.
