Neighbor's Blanket

Neighbor's Blanket
Chapter 52

No chatter during dinner. It happened because I chose to shut up after 2 hours ago I snapped at Mas Dirga. Since then, I have been reluctant to look at her and always throw my face away whenever she looks at me.

Right now I'm going to make the decision that I've been thinking about.

I have also prepared the evidence that I will show Mas Dirga.

"Sir, what exactly are you.? Is there a mistake with you.?" Mas Dirga started the conversation as soon as we finished dinner. His facial expression looked sad. It's even been since I've been sniffing at her while cooking.

"Let's get divorced.! I want to end our marriage.!" I spoke out loud without hesitation. To hell with how I felt about Mas Dirga was still left in my heart, but the disappointment and pain he inflicted was too excruciating. Besides, I also don't want to lose Mas Agam.

Momentarily Mas Dirga's expression changed. I could see he was shocked to hear my words.

Perhaps he had never expected that this very obedient and meek wife would ask for a divorce from him.

"What are you talking about Deck.? Don't joke."

"Mas is no longer a birthday, our anniversary is also over." Mas Dirga seemed to carve out a smile, I could see him forcing that smile to cover the anxiety over my words.

"I'm not kidding. I really want to end this marriage full of lies.!!"

"It's been enough for these few months that I pretended to be stupid and turned a blind eye to your affair.!!" I shouted, looking at Mas Dirga with eyes full of anger.

My confession is able to make the handsome face of Mas Dirga look even more shocked.

"What do you mean Deck.? I never cheated." Mas Dirga got up from his seat and walked up to me. I immediately shook off his hand as he was about to touch my shoulder.

"Do I need to drag the woman and the boy into this house so that Mas will admit it.?!!" Stomach me with increasingly uncontrollable emotions. Chest pain and heat when remembering all the lies done by Mas Dirga. Especially considering when Mas Dirga went with the woman and visited her home.

"What do you mean Deck.? I don't understand."

I smiled wryly looking at Mas Dirga who was reluctant to admit it.

"Don't pretend to be.!" Sentakku. I got out of my chair, picked up my phone and the vanilla perfume I had been putting on the corner of the dining table.

"See this.!!" I showed my phone screen in front of Mas Dirga's face. The photo of Mas Agam and the video I took every time I caught Mas Dirga, I showed it all in front of him.

You can imagine how surprised Mas Dirga was after seeing all the evidence I had.

"Sir, where did you get it,,"

"Why.? I'm surprised I have proof of this.?!!" I cut her words while smiling wryly.

"Proof this I took with my own cell phone Mas.!! I caught you with that woman and chose silence all this time.!"

"I thought that one day Mas would explain it to me, but in fact you are currently trying to dodge Mas.!!" My eyes are reddening. I wanted to feel like I was crying, but I was reluctant to look sad in front of Mas Dirga.

"And this perfume.?!!" I picked up the vanilla perfume that Mas Dirga had bought for a long time.

"The scent of vanilla perfume attached to your shirt also belongs to that woman right Mas.?!! But you made me look like a fool by saying your office friend sold this perfume.!!" I pushed Mas Dirga's chest full of anger. Totally inexhaustible with what he's done to me the last few months.

"That's why I'm not wearing this perfume.!!" I screamed and at that moment I immediately slammed the perfume into the wall until it broke into pieces and the smell of vanilla immediately poured out in the kitchen.

Dirga looked surprised to see me slamming the perfume. Because it's the first time I've done that in front of Mas Dirga, even in my entire life.

Had Mas Dirga not started, none of this would have happened. I will not be close to Mas Agam, let alone asking for divorce from Mas Dirga.

"Dek, sorry Mas," Mas Dirga's voice was choked, his facial expression looking very frustrated. He tried to pull me in his arms, but soon I was patted.

The apology that came out of Mas Dirga's mouth I consider as an indirect recognition that everything is true about the relationship of Mas Dirga and the woman.

"I'm sorry this time it doesn't mean anything to me Mas.!!"

"I'll deal with our divorce.!!" My atonement. I soon passed from before Mas Dirga, but he managed to hold me back.

The man who was over 6 years old I knew, was now kneeling at my feet holding both my hands.

"Mas doesn't want to divorce you Dek. It's not what you imagined. Mas and Ziva never had a relationship."

I smiled wryly hearing Mas Dirga deny and mention the name of the woman.

"Mas thinks I believe.?!!"

"Right now answer.!! How many times did Mas go with the woman and come to her house.?!!"

"Even when going to Jakarta, Mas took the woman.! Aren't you.?!!"

"Bak Sita saw you in the mall the same woman and child Mas.!! You still want to say you have nothing to do.?!!" I stomped the rough grip of Mas Dirga's hand.

"I'm not a kid who can still be lied to Mas.!!" I'm elapsed. I can't stand my tears anymore. I want to cry without being seen by Mas Dirga.

"Sir, please listen to Mas's explanation first." Dirga came back to prevent me. His face looks messed up.

"She used to be a student when she was in college. Her husband just died almost 3 months ago, she's alone here Dek. I can't bear it, let alone see his son who keeps looking for his Papa."

"Mas knows this is wrong. I have no intention of hiding this from you Dek. For whatever reason, I don't have more of a relationship with him." Mas Dirga's explanation didn't make me believe it at all. The lies that Mas Dirga often did had taken away my trust in him. I assume all his words are lies.!

"Mas does not have the same heart as other people, but the same wife herself.!!" I stared cynically.

"Don't blame me for ending our marriage.!"

"There have been too many lies that Mas Dirga did to me. I can never trust you again.!"

"Maybe we got here our soul mate. Now Mas Dirga is free to relate to that woman." I went into the guest room and locked it.

Some of my clothes and personal belongings I had moved to the guest room before Mas Dirga came home. I was planning to split up the room. And maybe in the next few days I'll find a new place to live.

I ignored the sound of the door banging and the call of Mas Dirga who continued to beg.

My decision to end this marriage is already unanimous.
