As Mas Dirga had said this morning that he was going home at night, it seemed like he was really going to be home at night. So late in the night, I even got sleepy waiting for Mas Dirga who did not come home because it was 11 pm.
His phone was off, last time he sent a message at 8 p.m. He said there was still a lot to do. Mas Dirga also advised that I do not need to wait for him to come home and sleep first.
But since I thought Mas Dirga would be home at 9 or 10, I decided to stay waiting for him without telling Mas Dirga.
"Oh my goodness, you worry me," I spoke to myself as I kept trying to dial the dormant Mas Dirga number.
If you know one day it will be like this, I should keep one of Mas Dirga's coworker numbers in order to contact him when Mas Dirga's phone is not active.
I don't have Mas Dirga's office number at all. Even Marissa's mobile number alone I don't have, even though several times we have met and chatted.
I decided to go out and sit on the terrace. Though already very sleepy, but it feels unlikely to be able to sleep before Mas Dirga home.
Almost 15 minutes outside, the long cardigan I was wearing could no longer provide the warmth of the cold night breeze. Crossing my hands across my chest, I hugged my own body which felt like it would shiver in a moment.
"Why sit outside these nights.?" Mas Agam's rebuke made me turn my head.
"Eh, i, that's Mas," I'm confused as to what to answer. It's a shame to say that I deliberately sat outside this late at night waiting for Mas Dirga to come home.
"Dirga hasn't come home yet.? What's out of town.?" Guess after Mas Agam's eyes were fixed on my empty carport.
I had to nod because Mas Agam had already guessed it.
"Yes not home yet." I'm lirih.
"Why not wait in Dalem aja.? Outside of the cold Bia, anyways the danger of sitting alone these malems." His word.
"Danger why Mas.? Can be safe, in front of the cluster there is a guard guard. There can't be any robbers coming in, right.?" I asked who was more interested in the last words of Mas Agam. If it's a cold problem I already know, because I've been feeling it since. Wind gusts to the point of piercing the legs that are not wrapped anything.
"It's not about the robbers, it's the invisible." Answer Mas Agam quickly. I suddenly rounded my eyes, became tense because I was afraid because Mas Agam was talking about something invisible.
To be honest, I was very timid and would at least like to talk about such a thing because it would make me not dare to be alone in the house.
All this time I was calm alone at home because there was no discussion about subtle creatures before.
"Don't kidut-nakutin dong Mas, later I parno alone at home." My petitions.
"I'm a coward, so don't have a weird story." I got out of my chair and went into the house. Instead of Mas Agam speaking strangely, I better just go in.
"I'm not nakuti-nakutin. After all, the visible is not always related to the same horror." Answer Mas Agam. I stopped because I did not understand what he meant, but because I was already afraid, I chose to ignore him and hurriedly entered the house.
Last night I remember falling asleep on the living room couch while waiting for Mas Dirga to come home. But this morning when I opened my eyes, I was already on the bed with big hands belonging to Mas Dirga that were coiled around my waist. Dirga hugged me from behind. His regular breaths seemed to sweep my nape.
I don't know what time Dirga got home. But I'm sure it's over at 12 p.m.
I carefully put away Mas Dirga's hand. I have to make breakfast because it's 7 in the morning.
"Where'd you go on Deck.? Sleep again," said Mas Dirga with a hoarse voice while holding me tighter.
"Well, 7 o'clock, I'll make breakfast." I answered but did not try to get rid of Mas Dirga's hand again.
"Later Dek, besides Mas is also a holiday. It doesn't matter if breakfast is a little late."
I kept quiet without responding to Mas Dirga's words. Because actually I really want to ask Mas Dirga what time he came home and why he could get home that late. While this dive Mas Dirga never came home late at night.
"Every night the phone died, I forgot to bring a charger. Sorry if I made you worry." Mas Dirga spoke softly after a while we fell silent.
I took a deep breath. Actually a bit disappointed because Mas Dirga let his phone stay dead. He could have borrowed a charger from his friend. I'm sure of the many coworkers in his office, someone must have brought a charger to the office.
"Not only make you worry, but make me think the same as Mas Dirga."
"Lately I've often come home late at night, not usually loh Mas come home at night during Mas work." My complaint. Although annoyed, I still talk casually without a high tone.
Some moments of silence, there was no response from Mas Dirga.
"Mas.? Dirga, I didn't say what.?" I turned around to look at her.
"I,iiya Dek Denger, I'm so sleepy to not focus." Dirga looked nervous to answer. Or maybe it was going to sleep again, so surprised when I suddenly turned around.
"Yes, I slept again. I'm gonna cook and clean up." I got out of bed when Mas Dirga no longer hugged me.
"Dek," Call Mas Dirga lirih. I stopped my steps and turned around.
"Yes, why.?" I looked at the face of Mas Dirga who seemed hesitant to talk to me.
"Aren't you angry, are you.?" The question came from his lips. Sleek, yet full of worry in the look of his eyes. Is it Dirga's worry that I'm mad at him.? Or maybe Mas Dirga was worried about something else.?
I'm shaking.
"You know I've never been angry this whole time." I then smiled and went into the kitchen.
