1. Accident

A car accident occurred on one of the roads that was not too crowded. Inside there are two middle-aged lovers who are unconscious with blood on their faces and bodies. They are Surti, a housemaid and her husband Anton, a driver at the same place in an elite housing estate in the city.

Surti and Anton borrowed their employer's car that day to drive their sick child to the health center. On the way home, Surti and Anton argue about their child's education. Surti wants little Rico to start school in kindergarten because he doesn't have much time to teach his son to learn, while Anton wants little Rico to immediately enter elementary school in the next year because of economic constraints that are not possible.

"Money can be found, sir. After all, spending money on our children's education won't make us poor."

"The boy's garden is mostly playing than learning, Mom. If you want to play, at home Mr. Irfan can also. The yard there is so vast for Rico to play."

So one of the sentences that Surti and Anton debated when they were in the car on the way home.

That difference of opinion is what makes the two people quarrel and not focus on the night streets around them. And what happened at that time, a truck that has no lights on the front speeding up made Anton surprised and accidentally turned the wheel so that the car he was carrying hit the truck on the rear body.

Surti screamed loudly, but the screams did not last long because they had already bounced and were unconscious. Little Rico who was sleeping in the passenger seat cried loudly as the accident progressed. Like a miracle from God, little Rico who participated in the terrible incident apparently did not hurt at all.

Several vehicles passing through the street and seeing Anton's car bouncing suddenly stopped and slowly approached. The sound of little Rico's cry made them stir and rushed to save the little man.

"Gosh, there's a little kid."

"The child survived. No injury at all, my God."

"Pity that little boy."

"Have your parents survived?"

"Come quickly call an ambulance. The blood's getting out more and more."

"Yes, call an ambulance."

So excited was the location of the accident and more and more people stopped their vehicles because they were curious about what had happened.

The ambulance was contacted and it was not until half an hour that the siren sound of the emergency car was heard in the ears of the people there. A middle-aged couple carrying a private car followed the ambulance from behind with little Rico with them. While Anton's employer's car and its contents have been secured by the police because indeed after contacting the ambulance earlier, there was a middle-aged woman who called her husband who was a local police officer.

Little Rico kept crying all the way to the hospital. Made a middle-aged pair that overwhelmed him. They continued to calm little Rico patiently until the ambulance in front of them stopped at a nearby hospital. The middle-aged couple ran after the gurney carrying Rico's parents, as they held the little boy who was still crying.

Elsewhere, a middle-aged woman named Santi looked astonished when she saw a police car entering her area. Santi who was on the balcony of his room then moved from his seat and approached the husband who was in the room to tell what he had just seen.

"Pa, there's a cop outside. Did Papa call them here?" santi asked her husband, Irfan.

Irfan moved from his seat to see the situation in his yard from the balcony of the room. As soon as he saw a police car that had just stopped in his yard, Irfan immediately invited his wife to come down with various questions in his head.

When he was about to go down the stairs, one of his household assistants had run up the stairs to tell him about the police presence. Irfan raised his hand, gave the code if he already knew the information and asked him to leave. The house assistant nodded and went back down to return to the kitchen.

Buy the door sounds when Irfan and Santi are already at the bottom of the stairs. They walked towards the door and opened it with an unstoppable curiosity.

"Excuse me, with Mr Irfan Renaldi?" ask the police after the door opens.

"Yes, right. What's up, sir?" ask Irfan.

"Can we talk inside?"

Without a second thought, Irfan agreed and stepped into his house first.

"Please" said Irfan asking the policeman to sit on the sofa in front of him.

After they all sat on the sofa facing each other, one of the three policemen took out some stuff wrapped in plastic clips.

Irfan and Santi were very surprised to see the items placed on the table. They still can't guess what the police's arrival meant by the plastic-wrapped items.

"Sorry before. What needs do you have to come to our house? And this," Irfan pointed to the items that were on the table, "whose things are these?"

"Pa, Mama seems to know the keys to the car."

Santi spoke first before the police there answered Irfan's question. And when he heard his wife's words, Irfan scrunched his forehead in wonder.

Then when Santi took one piece of plastic containing the car keys, they widened their eyes. They looked at each other with frightening possibilities in their minds.

"This is the key to my husband's car, which is used by the driver and our maid, sir," Santi exclaimed with trembling lips.

His premonition as a woman was fixed on something very bad, so that made his eyes could not stop glazed. And when one of the policemen said that the car in question had been in an accident, one drop of water fell on the middle-aged woman's face.

Santi turned towards her husband slowly, they looked at each other for a moment until the police said that if Surti and Anton did not survive, Santi immediately fell unconscious in the arms of her husband. Irfan who was no less surprised than his wife, let alone see his wife who fainted, making him unable to do anything but silence while hugging the slender body of his wife.

Surti and Anton reportedly lost their lives when doctors were just about to treat the victim. Because it was their condition that was quite severe and lost a lot of blood, no one could blame anyone for this sad news.

Moments of letting them off with a sense of surprise, the police immediately resuscitated Irfan and helped him to bring Santi lying on the sofa.
