109. Surprise ll

Just then the door of the room was knocked from outside and a waiter appeared who had accidentally spilled hot food towards Rico. The waiter came to give Rico a clean shirt to change his dirty clothes. Although only his cheap shirt that can not change the clothes branded Rico, but did not make Rico patronize him. He even thanked her for at least being willing to take responsibility for her negligence. Even the waiter brought ointment to treat his burns.

Thomas, who at that time knew that the waiter was the one who made his son almost exposed to hot food, now impacting his son-in-law to scold the waiter. Thomas is a perfectionist man, this kind of negligence he would not allow if it happened to his employees. So no wonder if he does not like the negligence of the servant that makes family members become victims.

But because Rico did not want to prolong the problem, he finally tried to give understanding to his father-in-law.

"She didn't do that on purpose. Rico is okay, anyway."

"Although not intentionally, but he was negligent in his duties, Co."

"Pa, stop. At least he wants to be responsible for his negligence, don't extend it."

Now Zara also spoke because she felt that the servant had accidentally made this mistake.

Thomas, who had heard his wife speak, fell silent. He was actually about to answer Zara's words because he was still annoyed with the servant who was working inappropriately, but it seemed like he had to give up for now. Not willing to argue and also it seems that the wound on Rico's back is not so severe either.

With a still upset feeling to the servant, Thomas sat down again and ignored the service that was still there. 

"Sir, Madam, forgive me once again" said the maid, bowing her head with a deep sense of guilt. He only realized that the person who had just been hit by the food spill that he brought earlier was not an arbitrary person. Now he is afraid that his negligence will be a threat to his work in this restaurant.

"That's it. You can go" Rico said later.

After the service was gone from there, Alina took over the ointment given by the maid and applied it to Rico's back. 

"Hold on for a moment" said Alina as her husband hissed with a sting on his back touched by her hand.

Rico nodded obediently, though a little sore, but he had to hold it back so as not to make his wife and family worried.

After the ointment that Alina put on Rico's back dried, Alina asked her husband to immediately wear the shirt that was given by the restaurant waiter. After that their family resumed their delayed dinner with Alina and Rico who also ate with them. While enjoying the food that some have just come, they also fill the atmosphere with chatter that they have not had time to talk about. Moreover, they still do not believe that Alina and Rico are now home from their vacation

"Darling, why are you so quick to go home? Shouldn't you still be in Norway? And why are you asking us to come together? Louis said you were gonna call to say something important? What'sthat?" santi asked in succession. 

Just like the others, he also still did not expect that currently their two children were already in front of him.

"We deliberately want to surprise you," said Alina. 

"You guys, why surprise like this. We won't be able to pick you up at the airport" Thomas said later. 

"Yes, we're not going to be able to pick you up at the airport" said Santi, who agreed at the time. 

"No papa, Ma, Pa. We deliberately want to give you a surprise, so we ask you to gather," said Rico a little explained without telling the real surprise they will give to his family. 

"Alright, your surprise worked" Santi said.

"Well, you guys did it. Successfully surprised us with the return and also the incident on Rico's back" Thomas said.

"Father, we don't know what will happen either. Who would want his back exposed to hot food like this" Alina told her papa.

"Yes, don't talk about it anymore. Honey, how's your honeymoon? Did you enjoy it?" ask Zara then to her two children. Instead of talking about something unpleasant, they should talk about something pleasant.

Alina and Rico looked at each other with a smile. Seen from the look on his face, it looks like the two children liked their honeymoon time in Europe. It also makes everyone who is there happy because of it.

"So how, did you come home with the happy news?"

Everyone looked towards Santi. The chirps managed to make other family members also wonder. They just realized that is Alina coming home because it will bring happy news for them?

Alina and Rico smiled meaningfully when they heard her mother's words. As they suspected, this time it is true if the reason Alina came home early because she wanted to give happy news to her family which is where she is currently two-bodied. But Alina and Rico who had not opened their voices made the family still filled with curiosity. Is it true what they think about this?

Alina and Rico smiled again.

"You're right."

"What exactly?" santi asked to cut the words of her daughter-in-law.

"Ma, Pa, actually the reason for our return sooner, is none other than because it really wants to give you happy news."

Hearing that short sentence, everything that was there I, especially Santi and Zara, was so very excited. They began to believe his guess if Alina was currently pregnant with her first child.

"Darling, is it true that you're pregnant right now?" ask Santi who is now moving closer to his daughter.

"Yes, Ma, Alina is currently pregnant. Said the doctor who brought Louis yesterday, Alina's gestational age only entered about 3 weeks."

"Have you not checked into the hospital yet?" ask Zara.

"Yet, Ma. The plan is tomorrow we will go to the hospital" said Alina. 

"Well, tomorrow we go together to the hospital, baby," said Santi who was very excited about the pregnancy of her first child.

For someone who does not have children, when the man he considers as his child will soon have children, it is clear that Santi is very excited about it. Although the child conceived by Alina is not her biological grandchild, but she and Irfan will still consider the child as the grandson of the Renaldi family.

"Hey, why are you cheating so much?"

Everyone stared at Morgan who suddenly made a sound. The man who had been silent since then finally opened his voice as well. 

"Lack what?" ask Alina wonder.

"Why don't you tell me that you meant your return to surprise you about your pregnancy." 

"Not all secrets you should know. Brother knowing our return alone it has made me upset," Alina told her brother.

"Morgan, do you know that Alina's coming back to Indonesia today?" ask Thomas about his son.

From the tone of Thomas' voice, everyone who was there was now suspicious that Thomas and Morgan would return to fight like Tom and Jerry. But unfortunately this time they ignore it because their focus at this time only to the words of Morgan who turned out to have known the return of Alina and Rivo before them.

"Last afternoon I tracked down the location on Alina's phone." Morgan pressed his shoulders. "But who would have thought that I managed to find out if Alina and Rico were already here."

"If you already know, why don't you tell us?" said Thomas again. 

"Alina, would you like to surprise me, why would I tell you?" morgan said without burden.

"At least you told Papa even though Alina would give a surprise. We can act to pretend to be surprised."

Morgan was about to say the words of his father but Alina first spoke.

"Papa, why should acting anyway. Instead Alina will be sad if you pretend to be surprised, even though you already know it."

"Yes, Pa. Mama will also be upset if Papa pretends to be happy in front of Mama. Never mind, what Morgan did was right, he kept the Alina Islands a secret because he wanted to help his sister to give us a surprise" said Zara later who agreed to the words of her two children.

"Dengerin tuh, Pa, what I did was right" said Morgan then with a slanted smile, mocking his papa for being defended by his sister and mother.

Again Thomas could not dwell if his wife and youngest child had spoken. He fell silent and did not intend to continue his protest.

An hour into the room, they decided to go home. Rico and Alina will return home to Santi and Irfan because they did live there before finding a home for them to occupy temporarily. 

Dinner at night makes everyone there very happy, especially after hearing the happy news that Rico and Alina convey.
