20. Help Rena

Arriving at the cake shop, Alina gets out of the car alone to buy a cake, while Alfian waits in the car. He watched his sister who went in and out of the cake shop for about fifteen minutes. On exiting the cake shop, Alfian looked astonished as he looked at his sister who was walking in a different direction.

"Alina," called Alfian a little loudly, but did not make Alina look at him.

Alfian was very surprised where his sister's footsteps were headed, but even so he still did not move from his seat, just monitoring where his sister went from in the car. Until Alina stops in front of two young men/i who are seen fighting, Alfian immediately gets out of the car. Seeing the figure of a man who behaved violently with his woman, made Alfian very afraid if his beloved sister was involved in trouble because she had interfered.

Initially Alfian was still walking normally, but he immediately ran when he saw the man almost slapped his sister. Fortunately at that time Alina managed to fend off the man's hand, so that her beautiful face was not hit by the coarse man's hand stamp.

The violent actions of the unknown man were not enough to get there. Because of Alina trying to fight him, the man violently pushed Alina's body backwards. Making him almost fall if Alfian did not catch him quickly.

"Abang," muttered Alina.

The man who pushed Alina also stared at Alfian, as well as the woman who was still in his grip.

That woman is Rena. Yes, when out of the cake shop earlier, Alina accidentally saw Rena who came out of the hotel while running. He who was already suspicious of the circumstances of the woman then approached her without a second thought. Moreover, seeing the man who was with him at that time was the same man when a few days ago he met at the restaurant in front of the cafe where he worked. At that time Alina also had a hunch that Rena was not okay with the man.

When Alina approached her, Rena seemed to have shed her tears. He was about to take Rena with him, but the man did not allow it and instead snapped at her. Until the moment Alina fought back and snapped, the man immediately raised his hand to hit her. Although the punch could he be agile, but his extremely strong thrust finally pushed him backwards. Fortunately, when Alfian quickly came, if not, it was certain Alina would fall on the road barrier.

"Aren't you papa, Al?" ask Alfian.

Alina shook her head. "No papa, Bang."

Alfian's face turned crimson. Emotions began to seep out of her when she saw her beloved sister being treated harshly like that by that selfless man.

Alfian stared at the man, without making a sound he approached him and gave a raw bogem to his left cheek. His extremely powerful punch made the man fall to the floor of the road.

The screams of Alina and Rena also managed to invite the views of some people around them.

A drop of blood managed to come out from the corner of the man's lips and made the man look extremely angry at Alfian. He rose from his position while enduring the pain. "Damn." then a raw bogem he also lay to Fian.

But because Alfian who had read his attack first, finally the punch just shot out. The man could not accept seeing Alfian dodging, he tried to return his punch and again only the wind he managed to hit.

"Why? Is your martial arts training just that? Oh, or maybe you're just a street gang kid who likes brawling and doesn't know martial arts?"

Alfian smiled in ridicule. And the man who did not accept his ridicule then wanted to throw back his punch, but this time Alfian no longer dodged, but the man parried the rough man's hand with his flat face.

"You dare to hit me or the two women, I will make sure in the next few days you are already in prison" Alfian said later with a voice that sounded threatening but real. Made the man instantly speechless.

He was quite surprised to hear Alfian's threat, until a few seconds later the man thought that Alfian was just threatening him to scare him.

"Don't interfere in my business" said the man, throwing Alfian's hand, still holding his hand.

"You almost slapped my sister and made her fall, don't you think I'm gonna interfere?"

The man stared at Alina for a moment, then he looked back at Alfian.

"That's because your sister's been meddling in the affairs of–"

"I don't care for any reason. If you still want to disturb them, don't blame me if my life is ruined" Alfian sighed coldly.

"Is your hobby just threatening you?" The man smiled slantingly, as if mocking Alfian who he thought could only threaten him so that he would not dare to her.

Alfian was still with his cold gaze, then he walked closer towards the man. Getting closer until the man walked to the back to avoid Alifan's body from hitting him.

"Maybe if you want proof" he said like a whisper. "Hit one of them or me. Tomorrow morning I'll send you the proof."

The man swallowed his saliva, Alfian's voice sounded very frightening in his ears, his gaze was also like hinting if he was not messing with his words. Now he suddenly felt a fear in him of Alfian's words. Looks like Alfian wasn't joking, he thought. Not wanting to take any chances if what Alfian said was true, the man finally decided to leave.

But before leaving, the man stared at Alina for a moment. Surely Rena was not out of his sight as well, he even stared at the woman long enough to make Rena throw his gaze with a look of fear.

A man's departure Alina immediately approached Rena, while Alfian just stood looking at her sister in silence.

Rena's body looks a little shaky and sweaty. When Alina touched him, suddenly the woman slammed into his arms. She hugged Alina's body tightly, her body shaking so much and before long Alina felt wet on her shoulder.

Rena was crying in Alina's arms in a small voice. Spilling her fear of the events that had just happened to her.

Alina who did not know what was the problem between Rena and the man, as well as what made Rena cry, could only shut up. Giving Rena time to let go of the tightness in her heart while stroking her back to help calm her down.

Long enough they were in such a position, until Alfian approached them and coded his sister to leave from there because many pairs of eyes were staring at them.

Alina turned her gaze to hear this, she really did not realize that she and Rena were now a free spectacle in a public place. Alina took off her embrace slowly, and Rena who was still leaving a little bit of tears rubbed her face with her hands.

"Let me drive home" Alina said in a low voice.

It took about a minute for Rena to answer Alina's words with her who seemed to think.

"I can't go home in this condition."

Rena was silent for a moment, then shook her head. He could not go home with such chaotic conditions, it could be that his circumstances like this would make his parents worried. He also couldn't possibly go to Andi's residence. She was confused about where to go, while she had no close friends to trust to help calm herself down.

Alina who already seemed uncomfortable with their existence there which was still a spectacle of the people around, was forced to take the initiative to bring Rena to her residence. Initially Rena had refused, considering those who were not close even impressed did not get along. But because he had no other choice and Alina also seemed sincere to help him, then Rena agreed to Alina's invitation.

She followed Alina to her car not far from there. With Alfian being the driver, he sat quietly alone in the back seat. His gaze glanced at the entire room, then he stared at the steering chair. His gaze focused on Alfian who was focusing on the road ahead, he only realized the presence of the man with them after a few minutes following Alina.

From the rearview mirror of the car, Rena looked at Alfian's handsome face. The face of the man was very handsome and looked like the figure of a mixed-blooded man. Who is this guy, Rena thought.

Then his gaze looked towards Alina who was sitting beside the man. She looked at Alina and Alfian alternately in silence, she began to second-guess who the man who was with Alina was. What are Alina's close friends? What about Rico? Does Rico know about this guy? Rena began to guess with her thoughts. He who initially did not care about everything related to the figure of Alina suddenly became curious about what was in front of his eyes. I wanted to ask, but it was impossible. She was embarrassed enough to ask about the woman's personal matters, let alone all this time she had always kept her distance from Alina. He better ignore it because none of this has anything to do with him either.

It did not take long now the car that Alfian was driving had arrived in front of his sister's rented house. He turned off his car engine and got off first.

"Let's go down" said Alina as she glanced towards Rena for a moment.

Alina was about to open the car door, but her hand movements stopped as Rena made a sound.

"Thank you, Al."

Alina smiled faintly and looked back at Rena.

"Its okay. Let's get down."

Alina got out of the car first and was followed by Rena after. Rena follows Alina walking into a very small one-story house when compared to her house. His gaze skimmed through the contents of the room there, staring at every corner of the room that made him amazed because Alina wanted to live in a small place like that.

Although the contents of Alina's rented house look very neat and clean, but still small for her. He was not sure if Alina felt comfortable living there. Maybe because of economic problems that made the woman forced to live there, he thought. Subconsciously appeared a sense of concern in Rena's heart over the woman's life is very simple.

Rena was still standing beside the sofa that Alfian occupied, until Alina who had entered the room had come out with a towel and a set of clothes in her hand and melted Rena's daydreams in the house.

"Your clothes are wet. Replace it with my shirt or you'll catch a cold" Alina said as she held out the towel and clothes in her hand.

With forced Rena grabbed the clothes from Alina's hands. After that she followed Alina who showed me where the bathroom was. After Rena got into the bathroom, Alina turned to the kitchen to make two glasses of warm tea water.

As soon as the warm tea was finished he immediately brought it to the living room. Give it to Alfian and the other one to Rena who is still in the bathroom.

Alina sat her body beside Alfian by leaning her tired body on the back of the sofa. He let out a long sigh that made Alfian look astonished.

"Why?" ask her to her sister.

"My chocolate cake is ruined" he murmured without looking at the brother.

Yes, because of the man who with Rena had pushed her, the chocolate cake in Alina's hand slipped out of her hand and fell on the floor of the street. At that time he did not think about the chocolate cake he had just bought because he was too focused on Rena, but now he was very sorry for his chocolate cake which may still be on the streets there. 

Alfian who heard that only smiled faintly. He put down the cup of tea he had just shaved, then looked at the sister.

"Later tomorrow after going home from college you buy it again. Don't frown, the cake is destroyed because you helped your friend, not because of a fall on purpose" he said gently. Makes Alina sigh and say yes even though she really wants to eat chocolate cake this afternoon. But due to an unlikely situation, he was forced to wait for tomorrow.

Inside the bathroom, after cleaning her body Rena immediately changed her clothes to Alina's. Home clothes in the form of a white over size t-shirt and knee-length pants that look ordinary to him. Not expensive clothes like his, but quite comfortable in his body. It's only natural that these clothes are all Alina has, given the story of Andi who said that Alina's economy is not the same as theirs.

But Rena quite praise Alina because the woman has a fairly high taste, judging from the way her daily clothes are quite fashionable, even without having to buy expensive clothes.

After getting dressed, Rena walked out of the bathroom and approached Alina and Alfian who were sitting talking in the living room. His presence in the small room was very easy for Alina and Alfian to know, they stared at Rena and told her to sit with them.

"Drink while warm" said Alina after Rena sat her body on the sofa next to them. Glasses filled with tea was he approached before Rena so that the woman more easily reach it.

"Thank you" said Rena. Then he began to gulp Alina's warm tea slowly.

Little by little he gulped down the sweet drink as he looked towards Alina and Alfian simultaneously. Making Alina realize it was forced to introduce her brother to Rena to solve Rena's curiosity, according to what she saw.

"Em, Ren, you know, he's my brother. Her name is Alfian" said Alina after Rena finished with her drink and put the tea glass on the table.

Alfian who was introduced by his sister took the initiative to extend his hand to Rena and was immediately replied by the woman while mentioning each name.

Rena who has been curious about the figure of Alfian now looks relieved. She thinks Alfian is Alina's friend or Alina's mistress who was accidentally discovered by her, but turns out that the man is her brother. Rena is not suspicious of Alfian who she knows as Alina's brother, other than because there is no suspicious feeling also she does not matter.
