69. The Complete Package From God

"Do you think of me like that too?" ask Rico.

Alina smiles at Rico's question and her smile turns out to be confusing.

"No offense. Besides Andi, now I have two more friends, Rena and you."

"Friends? So we're just friends?" ask Rico again. "When your family asked you yesterday, you said it was just a friend. I proposed to you, right, Al."

Again the words of Rico made Alina smile amusedly.

"Geez, why are you so much this way. I'm just kidding, honey. Why would I accept your proposal if I only consider you an ordinary friend like Andi and Rena, "he said.

Although there was a little relief from Alina's answer, but now Rico's face suddenly looks serious. His hand that grasped both of Alina's hands made the woman feel astonished.

"Now I know how your family is and you know how I am in the Renaldi family. Do you still want to be in a relationship with me, Al?" 

Alina was silent for a moment while looking straight at the man in front of her. He understands very well what Rico means because Rico has always worried about this for a long time which also traumatized him from the failure of his love already. 

"Don't I tell you right from the start that I accepted you for who you are, not that you're the son of a great businessman, Irfan Renaldi."

"Are you sure of what you said, Al? Al, you realize that all this time your life has always been a treasure. All your wishes are always obtained even when you are away from your family. While me? "Why are you talking like that, Co? How many times have I told you that I accept you for who you are, even though you are not Irfan Renaldi's family."

"Co." Alina confirmed her words. Even he clasped Rico's hand tighter because of his annoyance.

Alina's eyes glazed over, her tears that were about to spill at that moment were instantly noticed by Rico.

Alina's words that sound soft but firm make Rico immediately speechless.he knows the meaning of Alina's words, but not to where it means.

He had no problem with his poor life, but he simply did not want the woman he loved to live a hard life because of it. He desperately wanted to make Alina happy by giving her all the happiness. As a man who loves his woman so much, Rico obviously does not want his beloved woman to have to live hard with her.

Rico's eyes seemed to be glazed over hearing all the words of Alina which he thought was very mature. The age of Alina who may be under him makes Rico very proud because the woman can think more mature than him. He wondered, of the many selfish people he had met, why God was so kind to bring him to a woman like Alina.

Her tears that were about to spill immediately she caress before that happened. Although she desperately wanted to cry happily, yet she did not want to look weak in front of Alina due to her tears.

"Darling, I don't know how to thank God for sending you by my side until now. I really don't know how to thank Him for all that I've gotten over the years."

Hearing Alina's words about Andi, Rico smiled amusedly.

Yes, it seems like they should thank Andi because it was through her friend that they could meet and establish a relationship like now. If only at that time he continued to refuse to be introduced to Andi's girlfriend, maybe at this time he would not feel so lucky because he had gotten a partner with a complete package from God.
