Twenty years later…

A quarrel between two lovers occurred in a restaurant in the city. A woman named Angel looks angry with her boyfriend after knowing a reality in which it turns out that the boyfriend is not the biological child of his parents at this time. He was also very surprised to find out directly from his girlfriend if the man was the son of a pair of helpers before being adopted as a child by the Renaldi family 20 years ago. Yes, that man is Rico Renaldi.

But because Irfan continued to convince her, Santi finally obeyed her husband's words.

When Irfan began to tell the story of the past, Santi was very anxious because he saw Rico's facial expression turned flat. Without making a sound, Rico left Santi and Irfan for his room.

"Pa, how's this? Rico must be disappointed. My mom told me not to tell him now."

The woman was overwhelmed with anxiety about Rico's reaction. Until the night suddenly Rico approached them in his room by himself. Unexpectedly, it turns out Rico freely accepts the reality. 

Actually, he also had an inkling of this since a few years ago when he accidentally heard the words of his father's coworkers in his study. There were no photos of him as the baby was with them, adding to Rico's suspicions. But because the affection and attention given by Santi and Irfan is very large, Rico finally tried to get rid of the suspicion.

And when what he suspected a few years ago came to light today, Rico was shocked. He pondered the reality that was in his room for a short time until his own mind and mind said that all this was the destiny of the Almighty.

Nothing has changed from Rico's attitude towards Santi or Irfan. He was very grateful to have been given a new world by his adoptive parents. But after knowing all this, Rico became more aware of himself to scatter the property that is not his. He also had to be ready if someday it would be thrown away by the wealthy family. At least the knowledge and experience he gained during becoming a successful businessman's child can be a provision for him to survive later.

If Rico's personal life is arguably very lucky, then not with his romance. The handsome man was not so lucky in love because of his status as an adopted child.

Every relationship, Rico will always be honest with all his girlfriends about his status because he does not want there to be lies in the relationship he lived. And from his honesty it was also that he had to accept all the decisions of all his girlfriends. The one where the decision always ended with Rico being left behind on the grounds, he was just an adopted son.

No doubt because all of Rico's ex-girlfriends are the sons of a businessman. Where they want a husband who comes from the family is, not an adopted child who used to be the son of a maid.

Since then Rico no longer wants to be in a relationship with a rich woman. He began to look for a simple woman with the intention that the woman could accept her flaws. But unfortunately, just two months into a relationship with the woman he chose who was none other than Angel, it turns out that the woman also did the same thing with her former boyfriend.

"I want to break up" said the boyfriend with his decision.

"Why, Ngel? Can't you accept that I'm just a foster child?" rico asked the same question as his previous girlfriend.

"You still have it? Ric, the dream of all women is to marry a rich man. You're just a foster child, what if we get married later? You will be expelled by your adoptive parents and us...? I don't want to live hard anymore, Ric. Enough of my parents are difficult, yes my husband is also a difficult person," said Angel with very painful words.

For Rico who had been used to hearing all the spicy sentences, making him not surprised anymore, although a sense of disappointment still filled the space of his heart.

"But I have experience, Ngel. I can work in a good position with my experience all this time."

Rico is still trying to persuade Angel because according to his principles, he must try to defend something first before actually deciding to let go. And if it is removed, then there is no longer a gap for him just to stare.

"Everybody has experience, Ric. But not everyone has luck. What if luck wasn't on your side? No. .. I don't want to take any chances. Anyway we broke up."

Angel got up from her seat and just passed by carrying her sling bag.

Rico who saw that was silent. He no longer stopped the woman or detained her. It was enough for him and he did not want to beg for love far from being sincere from a woman who was not worth fighting for.

Rico sighed and leaned his body against the back of the chair after Angel's departure. It was not only failure that upset him, but the reason that disappointed him. Do all women always look at a man from a mere treasure?

Rico had thought about finding a job and relinquished the position that Irfan had entrusted to him. He wants to succeed with his hard work without anyone's help, so that if one day Irfan and Santi throw him out, at least he already has his own property that he can fight for. And maybe that way he can find the woman who will accept him.

But after a moment of thought, it seemed like Rico could not do all that. The first reason, he did not want to disappoint Irfan or Santi who had been kind to him, who had given a beautiful opportunity for him as now by releasing the office that had been entrusted to him.

The second reason, he was afraid Irfan and especially Santi would be sad with his decision. Rico knew very well how unfortunately his adoptive mother was to him and he would not have the heart to make the woman sad even if at all.

And the third reason, he wanted a sincere woman. Who was willing to accept all his shortcomings, including his status as a foster child. Also who would accompany him struggled if someday he had to get out of the Renaldi family.

Although there is a lack of confidence in the heart of meeting such a woman, Rico must believe that among the billions of people in the world, he said, God will surely give at least one sincere woman who will accompany his steps towards success. With the knowledge and extensive experience he has gained, Rico believes, it is not difficult for him to find a job someday.

Rico got up from his seat. He went from the restaurant to the house of his best friend, Andi. Andi was his best friend since I was in high school. The man came from a family of being, but not comparable if juxtaposed with the Renaldi family. Long ago Andi found out that Rico was only the adopted son of the Renaldi family and he did not dispute that. Because for him, whose name is friendship can not be paid with money.

Upon arriving at Andi's house, Rico went straight into the man's room after being invited in by the housekeeper who worked there. In the room, Andi was seen sleeping on the sofa under the window. Andi woke up when she felt something about to enter her mouth. He opened his eyes and threw the tissue in any direction. When he realized Rico's presence in his room, Andi immediately cursed indistinctly.

"Oh ela, Co. Very disturbing anyway," said Andi after cleaning his face menggukan clothes that have been opened.

"Tumben's sleeping at this hour. Where are you going tonight?" ask Rico.

He was already memorized by the habits of his friend, if Andi sleeps under eleven at night, it means that the man is preparing himself to stay up late. I don't know where the guy went, which is definitely not far from the clubing or skate area.

"Not going anywhere. Sleepy, today tired because it just came back from the city, run out of new tander."

"That's tumben. Usually if there is work outside, like up to 2 days there," said Rico.

"Tomorrow my girlfriend's birthday. It will rage if I do not nemenin him," cried Andi

Rico laughed a little at that. "Basic bucin."

"Belvin. Instead of you being cut off, mending me bucin," cried Andi meredek.

Given his friend who is often cut off, Andi became curious about the relationship of the man with his lover. Rico had previously told him that he would tell his girlfriend about his status as a foster child. He wondered if the man had said it and accepted the answer?

"Eh, how's Angel? Have you told him who you really are?"

Hearing the question, Rico sighed lazily.

"Just like before" Rico replied briefly. And the short answer turned out to have made Andi understand if his friend was again cut off.

Andi got up from her comfortable position and patted Rico on the back for a glance before heading towards the bathroom.

Again Rico had to sigh at hearing that. His friend's hunch is always right. Andi often told her that the woman she was approaching would not be able to accept her. But because Rico was already interested and wanted to try, so Andi's words were just a wind past for him.

Rico laid his body on the bed, it seemed like he had to forget what a woman's name was. It also seems that no woman is willing to accept herself for who she is.

When Andi came out of the bathroom, Rico did not move with his comfortable position.

"Do you want me to know the girl?" andi suddenly said.

"No," Rico replied quickly. Without thinking, he would reject his friend's offer.

For the umpteenth time Andi tried to introduce Rico with a woman who knows who, but unfortunately Rico always refused. The reason is none other because Rico feels he can still try himself. He said he was like a man who did not do it if a woman had to be found.

"Come on, Co, just this once. Try it first, who knows you like," Andi persuaded.

"You think food, must be tried," said Rico without intending to change his position that is still lying down.

"Aiissh." Andi throws a couch cushion at Rico. He sat his body on the sofa where he slept. "It's not like that, Rico."

"Jude, Ndi. I told you not to know me as a girl. I can find it myself" said Rico.

"Find on, but never get real" Andi exclaimed. "This time please, Co, trust me. Let's meet him first. If you don't like yaudah, I won't mean you."

Rico finally got up from his comfortable position. He looked at Andi with various questions in his head. He became suspicious of his friend who was so clumsy as to introduce him to a woman he himself did not know.

"Why do you want me to know this woman?" rico asked with a frown. 

"Because I think he fits you. Simple, beautiful, the dream of men. You would be very grateful if you could get his heart because there are so many men out there who try to approach him but he does not want to," exclaim Andi explained how special the woman he wanted to introduce to his friend.

"Why not? Does he want a rich man too? Then I'll just back off from now."

Rico asked and answered the question himself. Makes Andi have to hit him because of annoyance.

"He's not like that person, so I want to know him as you, bego," he said with great annoyance.

"Well, why does he refuse all the men who approach him?" ask Rico who is starting to be curious.

"No idea, he said he had not met the right one. Anyway you met him first, chat cake or something like that. After that it's up to you to do what. It fits alhamdulillah, it doesn't fit yaudah."

"You know him very well?" ask Rico again.

It seemed like he was getting interested in discussing about this woman, unlike before who constantly refused and left if his ears felt uncomfortable discussing things that felt unimportant.

"He was my younger brother and a close friend in Oxford. Now he's still running S2 here."

"The rich man's son?" ask Rico.

"No. He got a scholarship there, savings from his side work were used to continue studying here. His parents are in the village, so he does not want to burden his parents more to continue S2 there."

"It's really good, Co. I'm sure you'll like him" continued Andi.

"From now on you praise him. Why aren't you the same then?"

Andi sighed at her hearing Rico's question.

"Are you the one he rejected as well?" ask Rico again before Andi answers his first question.

"Enak only," Andi said quickly. "It's perfect no matter what man and woman, if it doesn't grow in the heart, it can come together, Co. Alina and I have only been friends until now. Just like you and me."

"Me and you? Very amused to hear it," said Rico while smiling amusedly.

"Yes that means, friendly as now gini loh, Co." Andi clicked in annoyance with his friend who always had a rebuttal of his words.

"Okay, if I don't feel like him either, how?"

"Yaudah, how else," Andi said casually. "So how? Want to see him tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? Very rushed," said Rico astonished.

"Tomorrow weekend. The morning he was empty, because he had a side job. How's it?"

"Yaudah, tell me where it is."

"That's dong. It's hard to convince him. If gini's gonna be good. May you be a soul mate. This way, Rena won't be jealous of Alina anymore."

Rico who heard the last sentence from Andi then frowned in surprise.

"Heh, what do you mean Rena won't be jealous? You purposely named me?" ask Rico suspiciously.

Andi roared the horse. "You promised to come, Co. A man that is held is his word."

"Oh, so is that it?" Rico held back the emotions in his head. It turned out that his friend wanted to introduce him to his girlfriend because there was something behind it. With his frustration, Rico approached his friend and beat him up. He was really very upset and would not let go of the man until he was satisfied to beat him.
