94. Chased by Ghosts

One week before the wedding arrives, Rico and Alina still have not found a suitable home for them to live in after marriage. Because there was no other choice, finally Alina and Rico decided to take the house that became their last option. Although a little away from their parents' homes, it is no problem than they have to search again in a time they do not know.

Today Rico and Alina are going to the house, they've contacted the housekeeper before. When they were there, a man who took care of the sale of the house approached Rico with an unpleasant face. Rico who has bad filing trying to think positive. He thought the man only had personal problems, but when he heard the man's words afterwards, Rico and Alina were disappointed by it.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Rico, I really didn't know if anyone had bought it. Yesterday someone bought it directly from the owner of this house and the new father told me this morning, Mas. Exactly half an hour after Mas Rico called me to ask to come here."

"Why sold sir? Didn't I promise to make the decision to buy this house before the tenth, it's still the second date."

"I know, Mr. Rico, but I'm really sorry because I didn't know you sold this house to anyone else."

"That's it, Co, don't argue. We can stay at my parents' house first if you want. Later we look for others, maybe not our sustenance to have this house," said Alina who tried to give understanding.

Before this, they had doubts about buying the house. If you do not think that the wedding time is near, then they will choose another house. Perhaps this doubt also leads them to a truth which is not good if we choose something that makes our hearts doubt. 

"But I.." Rico paused his sentence that he had not spoken, then he immediately gave his breath and confirmed Alina's words.

Rico apologized for arguing with the man who intervened to buy the house. After that they immediately left from there. 

"Why all of a sudden the house was sold, even though 'we have done the agreement," said Rico who at that time while focusing on driving.

They are currently on their way home.

"Here you go, Co, it may not be our sustenance to live there. After all, the location of the house is quite far from our parents' house, let alone we have to go to the office every morning. We find a house that is located close to the office and home of parents only yes."

"alright. We'll find it again later. In the meantime, we'll just stay at my parents' house. Is it papa?" ask Rico to Alina. 

"Papa's house?"

"Yes. At your house there's Morgan and it's too crowded. Better at my parents' house alone, they'll feel lonely and will be so happy if we stay there for a while."

Alina smiled with a smile. Rico is right, Santi and Irfan will definitely feel lonely because of the loss of Rico who was the only child they had so far.

That afternoon Alina rushed out of her room, she would go to see Rico who was waiting for her in front of the office to do lunch together. Alina walked in a hurry because she did not want to make Rico wait, but because of her carelessness, Alina also accidentally hit an employee there who was holding a stack of paper in her hand. The two of them were both shocked and Alina quickly squatted down to grab the pile of paper scattered on the floor.

"I'm sorry. Sorry, I didn't mean it."

About two seconds there was no reply, but after that Alina immediately stopped her hand movements when someone mentioned her name.

Alina looked up at the voice of the man.

"Andre?" alina said with surprise.

"Hey, Al," said a man named Andre who had been hit by Alina. 

Andre is Alina's college friend who has always liked the woman. Since they were no longer in college, she had a hard time contacting Alina. The woman very rarely replied to her message, let alone her call was never answered by Alina.

Upon learning that the office he currently works in is Alina's family-owned company, Andre feels very happy that he feels he can be close to the woman he likes. But the more the day went on, he never saw Alila's presence there. His unfavorable position makes it difficult to meet his friend and boss. 

Now when he accidentally met Alina, Andre also felt very happy. Although he knew that Alina would get married in the near future, it did not make Andre lose the spirit to approach the woman. To her, before the yellow janur curved, Alina still belonged together and she would not give up so easily before Alina legitimately became the wife of a man named Rico. 

"You work here?" ask Alina.

Andre also crouched down and helped Alina to pack her fallen papers.

"Yes, I work here. My uncle is the marketing manager here, so it's not hard for me to be accepted into this company" he said, as if he had an insider working for ZW Corps.

Alina is not proud or happy, she even looks surprised because Andre can enter here because there are insiders. Whether people who recruit employees in this company can immediately hire people they know, not because the appropriate recruits as his brother means. Although he knew that Andre had an intelligent brain, something like this was definitely not justified. It seemed like Alina had to ask this to her brother when she met him later. 

Not wanting to have pleasantries with Andre and also not wanting to make Rico wait for him longer, Alina said goodbye to Andre to leave immediately.

"Wait, Al" said Andre, holding his hand. Alina who was uncomfortable with it accidentally thinned out the rough hand of Andre, making the man stupefied because of his treatment.

"Em, sorry. I have to go, my future husband is already waiting outside," Alina said unhappily. He glanced around the two people who were staring at him.

Pers3t4n with that gaze, he didn't care if anyone talked about it in his own company. He unintentionally brushed off Andre's hand and it wasn't his fault that Andre was also the one who had been disrespectful to hold his hand without permission. 

Alina immediately left from there, not caring for Andre who was still staring at her.

Alina ran small towards Rico's car, arriving in Rico's car looks astonished when she saw the woman who looks bored.

"Why are you running? Being chased by a ghost"? ask Riko with origin.

" Yes, the ghost is very attractive. Yasudah let's go, I'm already hungry" said Alina who tried to divert but chat. 

Rico, who had no intention of continuing his jokes, nodded his head and immediately continued to drive away from the office to the restaurant he had agreed with Alina.
