127. Search for Middle Name

In Alina's first pregnancy, everyone looked so excited. Although Zara had experienced something similar to her daughter-in-law, Marissa, but for this her real daughter was pregnant. She and Santi are really very excited about Alina's pregnancy. Moreover, Santi who from the beginning had no children, and when he raised Rico as his son, today his son will also soon give him a grandson.

Alina did not mind the request of her two mothers. She looks very happy to remember if the people closest to her are very loving and enthusiastic about her pregnancy.

At the age of 32 weeks of pregnancy, Alina is also no longer allowed to work. He eventually decided to resign from his job because of his family's request, as well as his promise to focus on taking care of the child rather than continuing his career. For Alina herself, there is no more meaningful job than being a good mother to her children. Alina desperately wanted to be a good mother to her children by paying full attention to her flesh and blood.

Alina was in her room. He was making a video call with Rena. Since knowing if the content is weak, his friend was not allowed to work by his family. Moreover, his personal doctor also advised to rest more so that makes Rena forced to rewind in the middle of his heyday and promised to return to career after his children were three years old. In the middle of the two women's chat, Alina's phone suddenly made a strange sound. He looks at his phone screen and shows if Rico is currently calling him. With a heavy heart Alina had to finish her chat with Rena to answer the call from her husband.

"You got a lot of rest. Follow all the words of the doctor because they will definitely try everything as best as possible. I'm sure you and your baby can survive for the next 6 months."

After Rena agreed, Alina closed her call and turned to answer the call from her husband. 

"Assalamualaikum, dear," said Rico first.

"Vaalaikumsalam. Where are you going, Mom?" alina asked when she saw her husband in the car.

"I want to go home. Have you eaten?" ask Rico.

"Yet. I just got off the phone with Rena. Maybe I'll be downstairs for a meal soon. Why did you go home? Is there no more work?"

"I purposely wanted to have lunch with you. Wait for me to come home, I will pick you up to the room," said Rico and Alina smiled assuringly.

Shortly after, Rico arrived at Wilson's residence. He went straight into the house and immediately headed to the room to approach his wife. 

"Let's get off. Are you hungry yet?" rico asked when he was in the room.

"I'm hungry already, is lunch available downstairs?" ask Alina.

"No, but there was no one at the dinner table. Where are mom and dad going?" asked Rico while helping his wife to get up from her seat.

"There's in his room. Maybe it hasn't come out yet."

Rico agreed, then they walked to the 1st floor with Rico holding his wife's hand and waist, to help him down the stairs. 

Actually Rico was very afraid to see his wife go up and down the stairs like this. But he also could not force Alina who wanted to remain in her room. His wife said he only felt comfortable in his room. 

Not wanting anything to happen with his wife, Rico and his family agreed that Alina would not leave the room if there was no him or his parents who helped him to get off or go up to the second floor. 

Alina of course obeyed the words of her family, because it was the best thing for her if she still wanted to stay in her room. Actually, Alina also did not not worry about her content when climbing or going down stairs, but somehow lately she could not sleep other than in her room which was in the residence of her parents. Alina always felt uneasy if she slept in a room other than this one. Even one month before giving birth, Alina had settled in her parents' residence and that also made Santi and Irfan feel lonely because the child and daughter-in-law were not home. 

At the dinner table, Zara and Thomas had sat there and were preparing to eat, but they had not started their lunch because they wanted to wait for their son and daughter-in-law to eat together. When he saw Alina coming down the stairs, his parents stared at him unblinkingly. His focus was on the legs and also every row of stairs passed by his daughter. They had to anticipate if the stairs that would be stepped on by his daughter there was nothing that would hinder his steps. When Alina managed to set foot on the ground floor, Zara and Thomas breathed a sigh of relief.

"Honey, Mama's really scared of you coming down the stairs like that. Move to the lower room first yes, until you give birth, after that you can go back to your room again," said Zara for the umpteenth time advising her daughter. 

"Alina ain't papa, Ma. Isn't it good that we have to walk a lot? Especially going down the stairs."

"Mama knows honey, but this is too high a ladder. Mama is worried about your condition."

"Mama take it easy, Alina will not go down alone. Alina is not comfortable sleeping in a room other than Alina's own."

"Alright, Ma. Let Alina sleep in her room. As long as he does not mess with himself, we follow his will," said Thomas then who made his wife sigh and long.

"Alright," he said resignedly. "Oh yeah, tonight Rico's parents will come here. We agreed to talk about your son's name later."

Alina scrunched her forehead hearing her mother's words. Why didn't they know about this before if they wanted to go pick a name for their son?

"You want to talk about Alina's child's name?"

"of course. Can't it?" ask Zara

"It's not like that, Ma, but we already set a name for our son a week ago" said Alina, who shocked both parents.

Sure enough, the boy had thought of a name for his granddaughter without telling them?

"Darling, why didn't you say? Though we want to participate to his name our grandson. Especially Rico's parents, you know for yourself how excited your in-laws are with their first grandchild. The one proposing to donate this name alone was him."

Alina looked at Rico unhappily. He didn't know what to do because it was two weeks before this he and Rico had already thought of a name for their son. And exactly one week ago, they had already set a name for their son later.

"Sorry, Ma, we don't know if you want to do that either."

They were silent for a few seconds, then after that Rico began to make a voice to give a proposal to his family, so that no one felt disappointed because he was not allowed to participate in the naming. 

"Actually we already have two syllables for our son's name. What if Mama and Papa gave one name to put in the middle only? Is that fair enough?" ask Rico to make sure.

Santi and Irfan looked at each other for a moment. 

"All right," he said later. "Later tonight we'll talk to your parents again."

Evening day came. After finishing his dinner, the family of Rico and Alina sit his body in a side garden. At that time Alfian and his wife were absent because Marissa was pregnant young, which Alfian did not allow his wife to go out for the night if it was not very important.

Not much ado they did, now they immediately discussed the main topic of their collection here tonight.

"So we can only give one name for the middle?" santi asked after Thomas and Zara told her about the chat this afternoon with Rico and Alina.

"Yes, Ma" said Alina.

"alright. Then, what name have you agreed on?" santi asked later which made Alina and Morgan look at each other.

Everyone who heard Rico sighed.

"Then how can we suggest a name if we don't know what your child's first and last name is?" ask Thomas.

"really. Wouldn't it be strange if the name later does not match," said Santi anyway.

"Let's be like this, Ma. How about you guys collect some middle names and let us both pick them later. How's it?" ask Alina to give her advice.

They were silent and looked at each other. It seems like what Alina suggested was a good idea. Now the parents began to nod in search of a name that has a beautiful meaning for their grandson who will come to the world in a few days. 

"What if his middle name is Nazar? Like the name of Mama's favorite young artist first," said Zara.

"Who? The dangdut singer's nazaar?" ask Morgan who made everyone laugh because of it.

Zara, who was upset, stared intently at her son. 

"His son, do you really want your nephew to be a dangdut singer?" ask him in an unfriendly tone.

"Yes if the money is a lot, why not," said Morgan again jokingly, but Zara actually responded seriously.

"No. My mom doesn't want my granddaughter to be a singer. He should be a successful businessman like their parents and also their Grandpa."

"If it turns out that his sustenance is there, Ma?" 

Now Thomas' question managed to make Zarah again feel upset. He was very surprised why the tumben once father and son of one was compact to work on him. Usually they are always arguing and he will be the mediator. But now the words of the two men sounded very annoying in his ears. 

"How about Aditya, which means the sun. Later he will be like the sun that has an important influence on everyone" Santi proposed, ending the Wilson family debate.

"Aditya is also good, Ma," said Alina.

"What about Brandon? Which means a sword, he will be a sword for his family, defending and becoming the front shield for his parents and also his sisters later."

"Cool," said Morgan responded to the words of his father who began seriously. 

"Brian is also good, which means strong and powerful. He will be a strong boy in dealing with all situations" said Zara, who now advises.

"Is there anything else besides Aditya, Brian, and Brandon?" ask Alina.

All looked at each other, if no one else wanted to suggest a name for his grandson, finally Alina and Rico took the advice of the three names mentioned earlier to become their child's middle name later.

"Well, if there's no more. Of these three names, we'll choose one to take my son's middle name" Alina told her family.

When the time has shown at 08.00 pm, now Rico immediately invite his wife to enter the room. His wife had to take care of his health by resting early.

After cleaning his face and changing clothes, Rico and Alina immediately went up to the bed. At that moment Rico looked at Alina's face intently, making his wife frown in wonder.

"Why do you see me like that?" ask Alina.

"Darling, is my son missing me right now?" rico asked who made Alina smile thinly.

"If you want to say it, do not have to give an excuse on behalf of our children," said Alina who seemed to understand her husband's intentions.

"Are you not tired?" ask Rico for a little chat.

"But I couldn't resist more, could I?" alina said, which made her husband smile. But even so, Rico does not want to be selfish and prefers to make sure if his wife is really not tired.

"I'm serious, honey. I'm afraid you're tired right now."

"I'm tired of resting. Since morning you kept telling me to rest. Sleep, eat, sleep, eat. Yes .. All my activities during this time are that's all. As long as you know, I'm tired of knowing. We're supposed to do a baby moon to get rid of my boredom, but it's not possible right now because I'm about to give birth."

"Darling, you seriously want me to get pregnant again right after giving birth to this?"

"We'll see later. No matter what God gives you, you have to accept it. But ... It took me a year to get pregnant again. I want to focus on taking care of our first child before being ready to welcome our second child, how?"

"It's okay. Whatever you want, baby. So, are we going to sleep now or …?"
