71. Dinner Two Families

One week later, the inauguration of ZW Corps will be held at a hotel. Before that day arrives, Alina and Rico plan to bring their parents together at a dinner.

Today at Alfian's residence, Alina approached her parents who were in the living room to express her intentions to take them to dinner together at a restaurant.

"Ma, Pa, aren't you busy tomorrow?" ask Alina first. 

"Nothing, darling. At most Bang Fian is the same bang Morgan who wants to see our new residence," said Thomas. 

"Is the progress still far away?" ask Alina.

"Papa doesn't know too, it seems like soon. What's wrong?"

"Em, Alina's planning to take Mama to Papa's dinner outside tomorrow. That means we are a family" said Alina.

"Bole tuh. Where's dinner going?" ask Thomas.

"At the restaurant, Pa. Alina's booking is the place."

"That's a lot, darling."

Alina smiled happily at the answers of her parents. Indeed, they are not busy because the business and the house they will occupy later has been taken care of by Alfian and Morgan. Papa and his mother are quite old and his children do prioritize the rest time of his parents rather than having to see them take care of the busyness that his children can actually do.

While at the residence of Rico, the handsome man was currently seen approaching his parents who were in the park next to his house. Both of his parents were enjoying a nice night.

When they realized that their son was walking towards them, they smiled at each other. 

"What's up, honey? Come sit here" Santi told his son. 

"Mama's with Papa why are you still outside? The night wind is getting stronger, not good for health," said Rico attention. 

"We'll be in soon, Bang. You came here, no office work taken care of or went with Alina that way?" ask Santi.

"The office construction is over and Alina also seems to be taking a break because this afternoon they just came from the house of Oma Alina and went around the city."

"When can we meet Alina's family, Bang? I can't wait to meet her parents."

Rico smiled faintly at Santi's question.

"Let's find a good time, Ma. Maybe they are still resting or traveling around the city to enjoy the atmosphere they have long lived."

"What Rico said, Ma. Just be patient, later when the time comes we will meet them. After all, we'll be attending their events one week too. Will definitely meet them too," Irfan also told his wife.

"One more week is a long time, Pa. I can't wait to see Thomas and Zara. As soon as we discussed our son's marriage to Alina."

"Prophey, Ma. Rico asks Alina when her parents can meet us."

"Can, Honey. Thanks before."

Rico smiled as he nodded his head, then he remembered his intention to meet his parents.

"Oh yes, Ma, tomorrow night Mama and Papa are busy?"

"If Mama doesn't exist, don't know that Papa is you."

"Papa is not there at night. What's up Bang?" 

"Rico wants to take Mama to Papa's dinner outside, will you?" ask Rico.

"That's tumben. What's the show?" santi asked in surprise.

His son is not the type of person who likes to eat out if he is not with his girlfriend or when there are important moments. So obviously they were astonished by Rico's invitation to dinner outside all of a sudden.

"There's no show, Ma. Just want to invite Mama and Papa to eat outside, it's been a long time ago we did not dinner outside the three," said Rico with a sweet smile. 

"That's a lot dong, darling. We haven't been dinner outside for a long time. Alright, later Mama booked the restaurant just ordinary place yes," said Santi.

"Em, no, Ma. Rico will book his place. Mama, you don't have to bother."

Santi and Irfan were even more surprised to hear the words of Rico. Tumben really his son was willing to take the initiative with an effort that they very rarely see. But because they did not want to think about anything, they finally agreed to Rico's invitation.

The next day at exactly 7 pm, Rico looks ready with his clothes attached to the body. The black shirt with long sleeves rolled up to the elbows, his face that looked fresh after the bath, and also the fragrant fragrance from the perfume that Alina liked made the man 100% ready to do dinner with Alina's family.

Santi and Irfan who saw the appearance of Rico who looked stunning then frowned. Although the appearance of his son always looks stunning every day, but somehow tonight Rico looks very different. It was like there was something special about her son tonight, but they had no idea what was different about him tonight.

"You're so weird tonight, Bang. Hem, Mama became suspicious," Santi told his son.

He was very curious because since yesterday Rico was like hiding something from him, as if there was a surprise to be given to him. Not that she intends to be confident, but Santi's instincts as a mother who has raised Rico since childhood make it very easy to guess if there is something that his son is secret.

"There's nothing, Ma. Rico was just happy to be able to have dinner with Mama and Papa outside tonight," he said, which actually sounded increasingly strange in the ears of Santi and Irfan. 

"You're really weird, Bang."

"Alright, Ma. Maybe Rico is happy today, so the aura is so radiated that we feel it" said Irfan who tried to stop his wife's suspicion. Although he was also curious about the happy look of his son, but he did not want to demand an answer from Rico who might not be ready to tell them the happy thing.

While Rico and his family were talking about his strangeness, now at Alina's residence, the woman seemed excited at the confusion of choosing the clothes she would wear tonight. His family who was almost ready to go looked surprised when they did not find Alina since 1 hour ago. Surprised by her youngest child, Zara asks Marisa to call Alina to her room.

At that moment the door to Alina's room was knocked and from inside there Alina shouted to let Marisa into her room. When the door opened, Marisa saw so many piles of clothes on the mattress and also Alina who was still wearing her tank top and shorts. The sight managed to make Marisa shake her head.

"Gosh, Al. Why are you not ready, others are waiting under the tablets" Marisa told her sister-in-law.

"Gosh, this much clothes why do you have to be dizzy, Al? You are fit to wear all levels of clothing, " said Marisa in surprise. 

"I'm really confused, brother, who wants to wear what clothes. Please pick it up" said Alina, slamming her body into the bed. He was really dizzy from almost 1 hour of sorting clothes, but did not find the right one for him to wear at night.

"Yes, just wear this shirt" said Marisa, handing a long-sleeved black dress to Alina.

Alina, who saw the dress, recalled that she had worn dinner with Rico a few months ago and it seemed like she could not wear it at their family dinner. 

"No way, I've worn clothes before."

"What if it's ever been used? Do you want to wear that disposable shirt?" marissa said in great wonder.

Alina is not the type of person who is complicated in dress. But somehow tonight her sister-in-law is very difficult for herself in choosing clothes. 

Before picking clothes for Alina again, Marissa sat her body next to Alina and looked suspiciously at her.

"Tell Brother, what are you planning, Al? You don't usually think about clothes."

Alina bit her lower lip, she looked puzzled to answer a question from Marissa. Feeling that she needed Marissa's help to choose her clothes tonight, Alina finally told her plans tonight that she would do dinner with Rico's family. 

Alina sat her body, settling Marissa in doubt.

"Sister don't tell me about mom and dad, or bang Morgan and bang Fian."

While the words of her sister-in-law, Marisa also smiled faintly. Alina kept the secret for their dinner tonight.

"Alright, tell Brother what you plan to do" said Marissa.

"Actually I want to invite my mom to meet my girlfriend's family."

Marisa frowned, not understanding what Alina meant.  Is that all? Why keep it secret, he thought. But he did not speak until Alina said everything. 

"Mama and papa are old friends of Rico's parents, so we're planning to surprise them at tonight's show. There's no way I'm wearing clothes I used to have dinner with Rico. Now choose me a dress, please," said Alina later.

"Mama's the same old man Rico?" ask Marissa who ignored her sister's words.

"Yes, Brother. Let's tell you the story later, let's pick me a shirt first. It's almost seven o'clock, later afraid Rico has gone to the restaurant first.

Feeling that time was getting faster, Marisa finally stopped to ask further and immediately chose clothes for her sister-in-law. Among all the clothes on the mattress and some still hanging in the closet, Marissa chose a black knee-length dress with short sleeves. The dress was perfect for Alina's body which was white and would be used at night.

Alina who saw the dress was silent for a moment. He seemed to think, then immediately grabbed the dress from Marisa's hand to wear it.

"Don't wait downstairs, I'll be down in fifteen minutes" Alina said as she walked into the bathroom to change her clothes.

"Alright, but don't do it for long" said Marissa.

Alina assented from inside the bathroom and Marisa also then went out of her sister-in-law's room to meet the others below. Fifteen minutes later, Alina was seen approaching her family in the living room. At that time all his family had gathered there and just waited for his arrival. As soon as they saw Alina's arrival they immediately looked in wonder at her daughter.

Alina's appearance was not ugly, but it was very beautiful. His ideal body and dress that looks right on his body, making his appearance tonight is perfect. But behind all that, they were very surprised why Alina was wearing such clothes for their dinner tonight.

Alina was wearing the clothes as if she was attending a very important event, even though they would only have dinner outside. Especially so far Alina has never worn such clothes if not at a big family event. Just like Marissa before, all of Alina's family stared in wonder at her.

"Wow, where's the biduan from."

The words that turned out to be from Morgan made everyone who was in the living room stare at him. 

"Morgan, take care of your mouth" said Alfian who first warned his sister not to harass Alina. 

Morgan smiled broadly at his brother, then he locked his mouth tightly so as not to get a tantrum from his brother. 

Alina who had already heard Morgan's words, then moved her lips.

"Bang Fian, am I such a songstress?" he asked with a confused face.

"No, you're beautiful."

"What's true, but said Bang Morgan–"

"Here, don't mind your brother. You don't seem to know her."

Thomas now stands up for Alina.

"Darling, you wear clothes like this. Usually this is your outfit at a big event, while we'll just want to eat dinner alone," Zara also told her daughter.

Alina seemed confused to answer what her mother's question was. If he could speak honestly to Marisa, but not to his parents who would be given the surprise.

"Em, you're also in really good clothes. Why can't Alina?" said Alina who tried to answer her mother's question.

"We wear it like this a long time ago. Not like you who wear modest clothes, if not forced to wear a dress and jewelry you will not want to," said Morgan who said Alina.

"Morgan, can you just shut up?" said Alfian again who now again rebuked his younger brother not to speak which would make Alina offended. 

"Alina just adapts to you guys anyway, can't she?" alina said later.

"That's a lot dong, darling. Mama was happy if you wanted to dress like this" Zara told her daughter.

Since long ago there have been many expensive clothes that he bought for Alina, but since Alina decided to study in England until now, her daughter always refused to wear expensive clothes that she bought. Precisely his daughter even always likes to wear modest clothes that even seem cheap.

"Yes, let's go now. It's past seven hours, papa is already hungry this once," said Thomas who mediated.

He got up from his seat and followed the others to immediately get into the car and go towards the restaurant that Alina had ordered earlier.
