67. Rico Overthinking

Upon returning from Alfian's house, Rico immediately searches for the whereabouts of his parents at home. Santi and Irfan who were in the room immediately came out when he heard his son calling. They look surprised when they see Rico who looks enthusiastic to see him.

"What's up, Bang. Why are you in such a hurry?" santi asked in surprise.

"Ma, Alina's back from London."

"Oh yeah? Where is he now, Bang?"

"At home bang Fian with his family, Ma."

"His family? You mean…?"

"Yes, Ma. Alina is with her family, uncle Thomas and aunt Zara are here" Rico said.

Santi stared at Irfan with a question mark on his head.

"Abang, you're not the wrong person, are you? Which Thomas do you mean?" ask Irfan then to his son.

"Rico didn't look wrong, Pa. Uncle Thomas, whose picture Rico showed Mama and Papa a few days ago. Even Rico had a chat with them."

Santi and Irfan looked at each other with shocked faces.

"Pa, is Thomas here?"

Santi opened his happy smile wide, he did not expect that their old friend had returned after so long. Santi and Irfan also look very enthusiastic to hear the news, they are so impatient to meet their old friends and family Alina.

"Where do they live, Bang?" ask Santi.

"At a housing complex near the Amanda Hotel, Ma" Rico said.

"Pa, they're here, let's go visit them, Pa. Mama has missed very much Thomas and Zara" said Santi excitedly.

"Patience, Ma. They just arrived this morning, we should arrange a good time to meet."

"What Rico said, Ma. Let them rest first, we will arrange a time to meet. Take it easy, it looks like they will settle here because they just set up their company here." 

"Oh yeah? santi asked in disbelief and was immediately asserted by Irfan. 

"The company has been running for a few days and next week they will hold an inauguration event of his company in one of the hotels. We invited them" said Irfan.

Santi looked at her husband in surprise.

"Serious papa? Why don't you tell Mama that we invited them, Pa?" ask Santi who seems to not accept if this happy news he does not know.

"Papa just got his invitation yesterday and hasn't had time to tell Mama. The plan was just to surprise, but Rico had already informed his arrival today."

Santi pushed her lips forward, she looked upset at her husband, but Irfan only looked at his wife's cute face.

"What's their company name, Pa?"  ask Rico then

"ZW corps."

Hearing the name, Rico seemed to frown. He was like no stranger to the name of the company and after a while of thought, he finally realized if ZW corps was the company where Alina would work.

"ZW corps? Alina said she got accepted to work there, Pa."

"Huh?" Rico who was originally bankrupt is now immediately realized if the ZW corps is a company owned by the Alina family. Alina looks relaxed after her graduation, it turns out she will work in her own family-owned company. Given that ZW Corps is the Alina family company, it means that Alina is really the son of a rich man.

After a brief conversation with his parents, Rico entered the room. He looks brooding over the fact that Alina is actually the son of a rich man. Somehow he thought about it, but in his heart there was something a little bumpy about their status that might be different. 

It was clearly different, where Alina came from a wealthy family, while she was only an adopted child in this family. After all this is gone, then he will return to his true self that is, an ordinary person. If all of this wealth had ended, would Alina still want to get in touch with him? That's what Rico was very afraid of because he remembered his love experience that always failed just because of material. Is Alina going to leave him like his former co-relatives?

The next day, Rico invites Alina to meet. A day of thinking about things that make him dizzy, making Rico want to immediately straighten out his negative thoughts.Maybe by asking and discussing it, can make overthinking Rico reduced.

I don't know if he himself doesn't know why knowing the truth about Alina makes it overthinking like this. 

At this time Rico was already in a restaurant, he deliberately invited Alina to meet during the day because at the same time wanted to invite her boyfriend to lunch together. Almost half an hour waiting and the food that Rico ordered had arrived, but he saw no sign of Alina there.

Feeling that it had been too long waiting, Rico finally chose to contact Alina. Who knows, his girlfriend was busy which made him late and forgot to contact her, but just now Rico was about to press the call button on his phone screen, she also sees Alina getting out of the car with Morgan.

He who intends to meet Alina because he wants to talk about serious things, now looks hesitant because Morgan is present there. He had hoped that Morgan would leave immediately after dropping off Alina and leaving her sister alone to enter the restaurant, but when he saw the man following Alina from behind, he could only sigh. If Morgan was to come with them, it meant that he could not ask Alina freely.

It seemed like he would have to wait for the right time the next day to talk about this.

Rico who can't do anything can only give up and smile when he sees his girlfriend walking up to him. 

"Hi, Co, it's been a while? I'm sorry I'm late, because I waited for the Morgan bang earlier. He really wants to come," said Alina with a bad heart because it was almost half an hour late.

*Nothing right, the food just came. Let's just eat it."

"Hey, Co.," Morgan said to Rico.

"Hi, Bang. What's up," said Rico, trying to make small talk.

"good. Sorry if you interrupted your date, I'm still at home" Morgan said.

"No papa. Haven't eaten yet, have you? Let's eat first."

Rico again called the waiter who was there to order food because the food he ordered was only enough for the two portions. After all, he did not expect that Morgan would come with them. 

"Bang, after eating later Brother came home yes. I went home with Rico alone," said Alina as the waiter Rico had called had finished taking down their orders and left.

"Well, why be upset," said Morgan who seemed not to want to go from there.

"Whatever needed?" sela Morgan was quick before Alina finished her words. 

"It takes privacy to have a chat with my girlfriend" replied Alina with a slight blink of an eye. Morgan quickly scooped up his sister's face with his palm.

"It's a centile yes you are now, use privacy-privacy everything again. Brother told me you were papa lo," threatened Morgan who turned out to have no effect on Alina.

"Had it, Alina wasn't afraid. Papa would also understand that his daughter also has privacy. It's precisely Brother that I will report the same bang Fian, will you? Let me know the feeling of having disrupted the time of dating his favorite sister," said Alina who threatened back.

Then he stuck his tongue out at Morgan as a mockery.
