34. Alina Family

Because Alina's condition is still not fully improved, Alfian was forced to stay in her sister's new apartment for several nights until Alina's condition improved. He couldn't possibly let Alina stay alone with such a condition. Especially if both of their parents find out, it could be Alfian who will be blamed. But fortunately both of their parents do not know if Alina's disease is currently relapsing.

That night in her room, Alina is seen making a video call with Rico and his parents. Alina seems happy because both Rico's parents are very attentive to her even though they can't come because today they have to attend two events at once.

As Alfian walked in, the man spoke in a soft voice and said that both of their parents were currently on the phone and wanted to talk to Alina. So happy to find out if both of her parents contacted her, Alina nodded her head and asked permission to finish her conversation with Rico's parents who were still connected.

"Auntie, Alina's parents called. Didn't papa Alina hang up for a second?" alina said with a bad heart.

"No papa, honey. Then Auntie shut it down. Don't sleep at night, take a break when you're done calling."

Alina agreed with Santi, after which they closed their respective calls.

After Alina closed her call, Alfian immediately approached her sister and sat down beside her. He turned his phone screen on the face of those who were making video calls with his family. There were both parents of Alina, her sister-in-law, and her second brother. Alina was so excited when she saw the face of her family there, she missed her family so much after not seeing each other for so long.

"Mama, Papa, Bang Morgan, Kak Ayu" Alina exclaimed excitedly.

"Hello, Alina."

The greeting from his family also sounded excited because it was said simultaneously.

"Mama, Papa, Alina is longing" Alina said with her potion.

"We all miss you too, dear. How are you doing there?" ask Mama Alina named Zara.

"Alina's healthy, Ma. Bang Fian is also healthy" Alina said as she gently pinched Alfian's waist. Giving a code so that his brother does not tell his family if he is not in good condition at this time.

"Alhamdulillah then."

"Mama and the others how are you, healthy?" ask Alina back.

"We're all healthy, honey. Oh yes, said Brother, you just moved house today?"

"Yes, Ma. He moved into his girlfriend's apartment."

It was not Alina who answered, but Alfian. She accidentally teases her sister by telling her parents that Alina already has a boyfriend. But it was not Alina who was upset, but their parents who judged her words with different views, causing negative assumptions.

"Your boyfriend's apartment? You mean you live with your girlfriend?" ask Zara in disbelief.

"Alina, what the fuck. Why do you live with a man? Alfian, why would you let your sister stay with a man? You two want to keep us here hanger huh?" papa Alina said, Thomas, with a sense of regret.

He was provoked by the emotion of hearing if his daughter lived in his girlfriend's apartment. Moreover, Alfian who did not forbid it, made papa Alina ignited emotional flames instantly.

"Al, why are you staying with your girlfriend? Are you pregnant?"

Instantly Thomas hits Morgan on the head. Making Alina and Alfian chuckle at her.

The noise sounded crowded on the speaker phone belonging to Alfian. But when they heard Alfian's next words, their family, especially their parents, then refocused on the screen of his phone.

"Pa, Ma, Alina doesn't live with her boyfriend here."

"What do you mean, Bang?" ask Thomas.

"This apartment was rented out by her boyfriend to Alina. Because the location is very close to the campus Alina. After all Alfian couldn't possibly allow Alina to stay with another man, Ma, Pa."

Hearing his eldest son's explanation, both of their parents were now breathing a sigh of relief. Alina is the only daughter they still have and love very much. Although Alina is used to living independently with her own sweat money, but as a parent, they must always consider Alina like a child who needs to be cared for all the time. 

Especially since the incident one year ago, when Alina's stomach disease relapsed, from that time until now Alfian always followed wherever his sister went. Although sometimes he had to leave his son and wife with both parents and could only meet three or six months.

"Ma, when's Mama here? Alina has missed you so much" said Alina later.

His family is planning to return to the city and he can't wait for them to stay together again.

"Prophey, honey. We'll be there soon. We're waiting for your brother to graduate from college first" said their papa.

Waiting for Morgan to pass her S3? That means one month after his graduation target.

"Yeah, so you can't come when I graduate dong," said Alina as she waved her lips.

"I'm sorry, honey. Mama and Papa really want to attend your graduation, but how else…."

Alina sighed, she must understand the situation and must not force the will. All of this was due to his own will that wanted to stay away from his parents, so don't blame them if they can't come when he graduates later.

Alina was about to resume her chat, but just then suddenly her stomach felt nauseous again. Not wanting her family there to find out if her illness recurred, Alina quickly and selflessly closed her call. It also made Alfian surprised. At the sight of his sister who was like to vomit, Alfian quickly carried Alina's body to the bathroom. She let Alina let out her entrails inside there, while she herself passed to fetch some warm water in the kitchen.

In other parts of the world, Thomas and the rest of his family seemed astonished when the call was cut off. They were about to call back his son's mobile number, but there was no answer at all even though the call had been made repeatedly. They called Alina's phone number, but the same thing happened.

This made them all very curious. It is not usual for the son and daughter to close the call without saying goodbye, let alone their number could not be reached after the call.

Two hours later, they were able to breathe a sigh of relief after Alfian sent a message and said his phone was low. Alina's phone was damaged when it fell into the water this morning.

Alfian is forced to lie because of Alina's request who doesn't want both of their parents to know if she's sick. Alfian could do nothing but comply with his sister's request. After all true said Alina, they should not make her family there worried about their condition here. Moreover, Alina's disease will be cured in a matter of days, while there is her who takes care of her sister, that is enough. He will do everything possible for the health and comfort of his sister.
