72. Meeting Old Friends

At that time Rico and his parents arrived first at the restaurant. He immediately led his parents into the VIP room behind the bar table.

The waiter who followed them immediately handed the menu book to his VIP guest. Santi and Irfan started to mention the food they were going to order first. After Santi and Irfan finished with the order, the waiter turned to Rico.

Santi and Irfan who were initially busy with their respective phones now turned their eyes towards Rico and the waitress alternately. They looked astonished when Rico mentioned so much of the food he ordered.

"Bang, you ordered a lot of food, for whom?" santi asked in surprise.

"For us, Ma" replied Rico.

"For us? Mama and Papa have already ordered, honey. Are you gonna eat all that?" ask Santi again.

"Abang, what exactly are you? Since yesterday was very strange, suddenly we are dinner outside, your face is also like a really cheerful, and now you order a lot of food. Is there something you're covering for us?" asked Irfan who was also very curious about his son.

Rico who has not been able to tell his mother about the presence of the Alina family then just smiled. He was about to lie to cover up a little more of the surprise he was about to give. After thinking what lies he was going to tell, Rico finally decided to buy time by pretending to go to the toilet.

"Ma, Pa, Rico go to the toilet for a while, yeah," Rico said goodbye.

Although he needs answers because his son looks like he is evading, Santi and Irfan agree.

Rico, who had just walked out of his room, immediately grabbed his phone in his pants pocket. He searches for Alina's contact name and immediately makes a voice call. Twice the call Rico made, there was no reply from Alina. Rico thinks that Alina is in the car with her parents, so Rico decides to send her a message that she is already at the restaurant.

After the message was successfully sent, Rico immediately put his phone back in his pocket and passed to the toilet. Inside there she just washed her hands a little longer until Alina replied to her message and said that she was almost at the restaurant. At that moment Rico immediately returned to his room where his parents had been waiting.

"Why so long, Bang?" ask Santi to Rico.

"Sorry, Ma, the toilet was full, so it had to queue" Rico said as he sat on the sofa facing his parents.

A few minutes later, the ringing of the phone on the table made Rico grab it immediately. Rico stared at the screen of his phone which was displaying a voice call from Alina. He could have guessed that Alina had already gotten there.

"Wait a minute, Ma, Alina called" Rico said as he walked out of the room with his phone.

Nearly five minutes outside, the door opened and Rico was seen coming back into the room with several people they knew.

Santi and Irfan got up from their seats when they saw Alina. Not until there was a sense of surprise, now they were again surprised by the presence of Thomas and Zara there, along with several others. Both Santi and Irfan were in disbelief. They blinked both eyes occasionally to make sure what they were currently seeing was really real.

A few minutes ago when the car that Alfian and Morgan were carrying was perfectly parked in front of a restaurant, they immediately got out of the car. The last Alina down chose to call Rico first to pick him up ahead.

It didn't take long for Rico to answer his call, now the call has been connected.

"Hello, honey," said Alina first.

"Honey, where are you? Is it still a long time?" ask Rico.

"We're up ahead, can you get me here?"

"Well, here I've walked forward."

After Alina agreed, they immediately closed the call. Morgan opened the car door and called his brother who was still inside.

"What are you doing inside, Al? Don't want to come in?" morgan asked when the door opened.

"Ah, yes it's coming down, Bang. Come on," said Alina as she moved from her seat to get down.

"Rico?" said Alfian who was surprised at the presence of the man there.

His other family was no less surprised. They look surprised by the presence of Rico there, especially when Rico approached them with a smile on his face. It's impossible if it's just a coincidence, right.

"Good night, Uncle, Auntie" Rico told Alina's parents. He greeted the middle-aged pair and then turned towards Alfian, Marissa and also Morgan.

"Night, Bang," he told Alfian first. Followed by a friendly smile as a greeting to Marissa and also a handshake to Morgan.

"You here too, Rico?" ask Thomas to Rico.

"Yes, Uncle."

"It could be a coincidence. You alone here?" ask Thomas again.

"Rico with Mama and Papa, Uncle," Rico replied.

Hearing Rico's reply, Morgan laughed loudly. Making his family look at him in wonder.

"Fix really, this is no coincidence, but it's Alina's plan to dinner with her boyfriend."

Everyone was now staring at Alina who was behind them. Undeniably, they had been suspicious from the start when they saw Alina who was very prepared with her unusual clothes.

"Al, is it true that you purposely invited Rico and his parents to dinner with us?" thomas asked his daughter, who had been silent since.

"Em, yes, Pa," replied Alina briefly.

"That's right my guess. You purposely dress like this because you want to meet your girlfriend. Basis–"

Not yet Morgan finished his words, his mouth was already closed by Alfian with his palm.

"If you're just gonna bother Alina, you better wait in the car."

Morgan revolted from his brother's hand, then he put on a sullen face.

"Yes, sorry. I'm just kidding, really serious, Bang," he said slowly.

"Either find a girlfriend there, let's not be tacky." Thomas now adds the words Alfian to Morgan.

"Papa" cried Zara who opened her eyes so that her husband would not follow.

"I'm sorry, Ma" Thomas told his wife.

"Okay, let's go in. It's not good that Rico's parents are waiting inside."

Hearing Alfian's words, they now began to enter the restaurant with Rico and Alina leading the way.

Both Thomas, his wife, and his two sons were normal when they found out Rico's parents were inside. They think Alina just wants to introduce them to her boyfriend's parents because her relationship with Rico already wants a seriousness. Moreover, his daughter has been proposed by Rico, maybe Rico wants to immediately bring their two families together to get closer to get acquainted so that the process of further relations can be carried out immediately.

When Rico opens the door, everything still looks normal. Only two of Rico's parents were in there who were shocked to see the arrival of Alina who was beside him at the time.

But as Thomas and Zara begin to enter the room, both Rico's and Alina's parents are quiet with each other. They seemed surprised by what his eyes were currently seeing.

This made their children wonder, except for Marissa, Rico and Alina who smiled at the sight.
