Only Raised Children
68. Secret Alina

After finishing his lunch, Morgan left and left his brother with Rico. Indeed his sister is now an adult and he must give freedom for her with her boyfriend. Moreover, Alina had been accustomed to living alone, she believed that Alina could take care of herself well. Rico doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who's a lot of whims. Hopefully what he entrusted to Rico didn't disappoint him by hurting his sister.

"If you want to go home just call, Al, you'll pick him up" said Morgan before stepping his feet away from there."

"Let me drive Alina home, Gan."

"Yes, Bang, let Rico take Alina home. Just go home there."

Hearing Alina who added to Rico's words, Morgan also looked at his sister.

"About the same boyfriend, his brother was expelled. We haven't seen each other in a long time" he said, sounding jealous.

Alina chuckles at Morgan's words, she knows that her brother is just joking and she doesn't want to tell him because it will be a long business.

"Yes, then you go home. Rico, please take care of my sister. Just be careful if Alina's up to why."

"You take it easy, Alina is safe with me" Rico said confidently.

Morgan nodded his head and after that he immediately left from there.

Seeing Morgan's departure, Alina stared at Rico.

"Sorry, bang Morgan so come have lunch with us."

Last night Rico said he wanted to talk to her about something. Alina knew that Rico was questioning everything she had covered up all this time, so she immediately agreed to her boyfriend's invitation to meet this afternoon. But who would have thought if Morgan suddenly wanted to come with him to see Rico.

Alina could not forbid her brother to come along because she also wanted Rico to know her family better. But when he saw the look on Rico's face that seemed to be holding something back, Alina decided to ask her brother to come home immediately. He thought if Rico felt uncomfortable discussing this in front of his brother.

"No papa. Morgan may be bored at home after a day of rest, so it's only natural that he wants to come out" Rico said.

"Thank you. Oh yeah, what are you talking about?" ask Alina later.

Hearing Alina's question, Rico sighed.

"Why haven't you heard in a week? I know you are very, very good" said Rico. His face now changed not as cheerful as before, but seemed curious and needed answers.

"Sorry, honey, my phone is left at Fian's bang house, so I can't reach you."

"Keep, why did you suddenly change the number? You lied to me, didn't you, Al?" ask Rico again with his own face. She felt that Alina was lying and did not want to be honest with her.

Alina let out a long sigh, it seemed like it was time for her to tell the truth about her true self to Rico.

Rico silently looked at his girlfriend, waiting for what Alina would tell him.

"I'm not a farmer's son. Sorry I lied to you all this time. My family has been in London and I have two brothers and one sister who died. My family is no ordinary person. Before they emigrated to London, they lived in this city as well, their hometown. They went to London because of an incident my parents had that left my first brother dead."

Alina breathed for a moment.

"I have no right to tell the story of my parents and sister Aura to anyone else, but because the incident made my mother very sad and finally decided to go to London. Stay with my grandmother and continue her business there. When I finished school, I decided to study in the UK, following in the footsteps of bang Fian when I was in college first. Although it's hard for my family to live alone there, but I insist and until finally they allow it on certain conditions."

"Short story short, I decided to continue my S2 here. Remembering my mother who is still traumatized by events decades ago, makes me want to prove to my mother that the past is just the past. I don't want you to forget your homeland and make it go away from here forever. Moreover, bang Fian always said that mama missed Aura and always felt guilty, making me really unbearable and wanted to make mama make peace with her past. It's been hard, but now I can finally get my family back to this town."

Throughout Alina's story, Rico just kept silent while looking straight at the beautiful eyes of the woman in front of him. Is that the ordeal of Alina's family so far, do both her parents know about the problems experienced by Alina's parents and her older sister? He became sad about the disaster that befell his girlfriend's family.

"You are so brave to live alone in this city unaccompanied" Rico said, indirectly praising Alina's bravery.

"I'm not really alone here. There are still grandparents and omaku, too" Alina said with a faint smile. "You know the restaurant I worked at all this time?"

"Don't tell me that…?"

Alina nodded her head. "Actually it's not my friend's restaurant but, my restaurant that was given by my omah, my mother from papa."

Hearing this, Rico smiled as he shook his head. Alina could just as much as she wanted to set her work schedule, it turned out that it was her own restaurant.

His work in the restaurant as an officer turned out to be only Alina's alibi for people to think if he lived in this city with his side job.

"Then that cafe? Is it yours too?" ask Rico.

Alina chuckles small. "It's got people. I work there because I like to sing alone, count also looking for entertainment for myself."

"Then why does bang Fian always wear a hat and mask when out of the house?" asked Riko who had long been very curious about it.

"Face of bang Fan is very similar to papa. I just don't want our closeness to get people to know who I really am."

Alina's reply made Rico frown in surprise.

"Why are you keeping a secret about who you really are?" ask Rico.

"The events that my mother experienced made me afraid to show who I really am. I'm afraid that the person who made my family members hurt recognizes me and knows where my mom is. Moreover, in this day and age, everyone will only judge us by whose office and child we really are. When they find out that my parents have everything, they will race to come to make friends or relationships that are more than that. I just want to be reunited with someone who's really sincere about being friends with me, Co, that's all. From the time I was at Oxford until now, only Andi really wanted to be my best friend with all my flaws. And it made me realize that it's true that only a few people want to be in a relationship with sincerity."

"Do you think of me like that too?"
