46. Cannot Cook

At 11:30 Rico was in the apartment to pick up Alina. As she said last night, she'll pick up Alina to lunch with her parents at home.

Rico waits for Alina in the car, before long Alina is seen exiting her apartment building with a friendly smile, greeting the guards there. Rico smiled at the small things that the woman did, besides being beautiful, Alina also had a very worthy nature and behavior to praise. Very lucky he got the complete package like this girlfriend.

As soon as Alina got in the car, Rico greeted her with a fluffy smile. A smile that not everyone gets except for those who are special in Rico's heart.

"Hey," said Rico first.

"Hey. You're from the office?" alina asked as she looked at the formal attire Rico was wearing.

"Yes" said Rico, nodding his head. "Have you eaten?"

Rico's question made Alina instantly frown in surprise.

"Wheathing? Don't we have lunch, do we?" ask Alina.

Hearing that, Rico seemed to be aware of his stupid question. Then he laughed crisply while scratching his non-itchy head.

"Yes, I forgot. You're so pretty, I'm not focused, right."

Instantly Alina smiled embarrassedly at Rico's chattering. Half a year of dating, for some reason she still felt embarrassed when Rico praised or regained her. He shouldn't have to act like that with Rico's reckless chatter he's heard so often.

He should learn to prepare to relax so that he no longer feels ashamed of the man's crush.

"Let's go, don't make your parents wait too long" Alina said.

Rico chuckles at the cute look on Alina's face, after which she agrees with her boyfriend and starts driving her car away from the apartment.

"Oh yes, dear. Last night I called Andi and we decided to go on vacation next week. Do you mind?" rico asked as they were on their way to his house.

"Next week? Is it not a joke?" ask Alina.

"If it is delayed too long, fear you will suddenly begin to enter work. We adjust to your activities. Next week our schedule is all loose, so it's just right to go" Rico explained.

Alina nodded in understanding, it would not matter if it had to be next week because in about two weeks she also had to go to attend her family events.

"alright. I'll prepare from now then."

"Not now, dear."

"Huh?"

Alina seemed confused by Rico's words. Not now? Whatdoes thatmean? Weren't they leaving next week, so why did Rico ban him from preparing now.

"Why? One more week is not long, Co," said Alina with surprise.

"Not now anyway" said Rico with a chuckle. Makes Alina curious about the man's intentions.

"Why, Co? Is the plan uncertain?" ask Alina again.

"It sure is."

"Then?"

"Just not now, right now we want to lunch with my parents. You want to cancel the lunch?" rico said with a sinless face.

Alina who heard that instantly fell silent with her mouth open. Is that the reason Rico? He did not stop thinking with the joke of his girlfriend that was beyond reason. He took very seriously Rico's words.

In a fit of annoyance, Alina hits Rico's driving arm. Making the man complain, then laugh because he could not bear to see the look on Alina's adorable face.

"That's a hell of a deal. People are serious too" said Alina as she swept her lips.

Rico still laughed amusedly at his girlfriend's reaction, it was nice to see Alina upset about her jokes.

After making it through the stinging daytime weather, finally the car driven by Rico arrived at his family's residence. They got out of the car and went into the house. Rico takes Alina to the kitchen, where her mother is. While he went to the study to meet his father who was there.

Incidentally since last night Irfan suddenly did not feel well, so this morning he could not come to the office and do everything from home.

"Auntie is so happy you came here. How are you?" santi asked as Alina approached her.

Santi is currently tasting food that has been cooked by his employees to be served at lunch.

"Alina's good, Bi. Aunt how's it going?" ask Alina back.

"A good aunt. Wanna try?"

"Aah?" Alina looks confused by Santi who offers her to taste the food there. But a second later Alina smiled and agreed.

"Where? Is there anything less?" santi asked as soon as the food went into Alina's mouth.

"I think that's enough" Alina said.

Not until there, Santi asked Alina to taste other foods to adjust her tongue. After all, Alina was his guest here. All the food that will be served is very special for him. So, all the food here should match the tongue of their special guest that is, Alina.

When the taste of all the dishes was perfect, Santi invited Alina to leave the kitchen. They sit her body on the dining table and shortly after, Rico and Irfan are seen coming out of a room believed to be Irfan's den.

As they were getting hungry, they immediately ate the lunch together. Throughout lunch, small talk is created accompanied by jokes and laughter. There is not the slightest pause for their silence because it is so cool. They really enjoyed this lunch very solemnly and happily.

"Do you like all the food, Al?" irfan asked as Alina was about to put her last mouthful into his mouth.

"Like Uncle. Thank you for inviting Alina to lunch here" he said before entering his final feed.

"Then, we must often hold a lunch or dinner with dong," said Santi suggested.

"Absolute agreement, Ma" said Rico.

"We must often lunch or dinner together. You don't mind, do you, honey?" ask Rico then to Alina.

"Can kok. Later sometime Alina who invited Uncle and Aunt to eat at Alina's house yes," said Alina.

"That's a lot, Al. Oh yeah, can you cook?" ask Santi later.

"Em, not good, Bi. Just snacks," said Alina with a stiff smile. He slightly lowered his head in shame if he was not good at cooking.

"That's okay, Al. No need to be good, it can cook it is a pride. Not like Bibi who can not really cook," said Santi by trying to understand the feelings of Alina.

"Yes, Al. Cooking is also not an obligation for a woman, so you do not have to worry. You can cook it too you are already very good, you are."

Irfan is also speaking. He added to his wife's words so as not to make Alina feel humiliated.  

Alina smiled hearing the words of Santi and Irfan.

"Thank you, Auntie, Uncle" he said. Then he looked towards Rico who was smiling at him. His face seemed to say that what his parents said was true.
