5. Alina's boyfriend

Small talk was created throughout Rico's trip to take Alina. The conversation just went without knowing who started it first. Neither Rico nor Alina realized that comfort was coming between them.

The journey that only took about ten minutes made the two people feel dissatisfied because the chat was not over. But because Rico also had to go home, so he was forced to end this meeting.

"Name, Alina. What time do you work?" ask Rico before Alina gets out of her car.

"Night" replied Alina briefly.

"Yes, what time is it?"

"Around seven o'clock. Why?"

"What do you do at that hour?" ask Rico curiously.

"What did Rico say I did?" ask Alina back.

"No."

"When it's a weekend, I like to fill out live music at the cafe. On Sunday, I work as a supervisor at a small restaurant."

"Then you went to college?" asked Rico again in surprise.

"I told you already, right. Must be smart time and you don't need to know because I'm lazy to explain."

Rico sighed and said that to the woman.

"Can I come with you for work tonight?"

Alina frowned at Rico's request. Coming with? But he just said it because it didn't matter to him. Just seeing her singing in a cafe doesn't hurt, she thought. And once again, count him down to save on the cost of the motorcycle.

"I went in first. You go home, your father will be angry if he comes home late."

"alright. Before 7 I'll be here."

Alina assures him and after he gets out of the car, Rico immediately proposes his vehicle to go home.

At the same time, Andi who was driving divided his focus to seduce Rena who did not stop sulking at him. Somehow his girlfriend was so jealous blindly to Alina, while everything was clear, if Alina was just his friend and wanted him to try to get closer to Rico. But even though it has been explained, Rena still sulked at him and silenced him throughout their journey to Rena's house.

Tired of Rena not responding, Andi finally sighed and stopped her seduction. The atmosphere was suddenly silent as none of them spoke. Arriving at Rena's house, the woman immediately got out of the car and left Andi without saying a word. And it again had to make Andi sigh.

Indeed, he really likes the type of woman like his girlfriend who is jealous, but if it is excessive like this, he becomes uncomfortable. There are limits, including jealousy. It had been said how many times if she was only friends with Alina, but Rena was still blindly jealous of her friend.

Since deciding to be in a relationship with Rena about three and a half years ago, Andi has also started to stay away from all her female friends. He did that so that Rena would not get jealous which resulted in a quarrel in their relationship. But here Alina became an exception for him to stay away because the woman had helped him a lot as long as they were friends in England.

Andi has also explained this to Rena, but her boyfriend still does not want to be in touch with any woman other than herself. Andi thought as time went by Rena would start to change and understand, but until now the woman is still with the same Rena as three years ago. The jealousy!

If you can be honest, Andi really loves Rena even with her potent nature, but here she also has the right to make friends. He does not want his relationship that is still in this stage of dating to make him far from the good people who have contributed in his life. Andi also had time to think, if God predestined him and Rena were not a match, does that mean he had to lose two people at once?

After thinking for a while, Andi finally got out of the car to catch up with Rena.

"Rena, come with me."

Andi pulled the woman's hand slowly enough not to hurt her, then carried her to the other side of the parked car.

"What the hell. Lepasin," said Rena while releasing her hand from Andi's grasp.

"Silent. I want to talk to you," exclaimed Andi with his serious face while holding back Rena's hand.

Seeing the man's expression, Rena swallowed her saliva. Already he made sure if Andi is currently not in fine mode. Rena fell silent and waited in dismay about what the man was going to say.

"Why are you so jealous of Alina, when you already knew that we would never have anything more than friends? This is my last question for you, so please answer honestly," Andi said with emphasis.

Rena scrunched her forehead.

"Alina again? Why do you keep talking about him. I don't like it, Ndi," said Rena upset.

"I'm talking about this because you started it, Renata."

Nah!

It was as if something had broken in his heart when Andi mentioned his name. Not usually Andi called him by that name, except when they were still approaching first. But now his girlfriend called him with a different call and somehow suddenly Rena felt if Andi was really angry with him.

"I can't just cut off the friendship with Alina, and you already know all the stories, but why don't you want to understand. Honestly, I'm tired of facing your jealous attitude is not clear gini," said Andi. Now her voice sounded very unfriendly in Rena's ears, even though the man said in a soft voice.

"What do you mean, Ndi?" asked Rena with trembling lips. His heart was pounding faster, as if to say if something bad was going to happen between them.

"I'm really tired, Ren. We'd better live this life alone."

Eyes that were originally just glazed, immediately began to clear the water when Andi said the sentence. His lips trembled and could not believe what the man who was still holding his hand said.

"Ka..kamu bercan–"

"I'm serious," Andi cut quickly. "I want us to break up. I really can't if you're still blind jealous like this."

"I'm jealous because I love you, I love–"

Andi shook her head with her eyes closed. He again cut off Rena's words, but this time with a tone of voice that was like snapping in Rena's ear.

"You've passed, Renata." Rena fell silent with her surprise. "Honestly, I really like you who like to be jealous of me, but this time you've crossed your line. You should know that I also have the right to be friends with anyone, including Alina."

Rena could no longer understand Andi's words. He was only silent with tears flowing down his smooth cheeks.

"For a while we got here enough. If you are still in love and want to continue to be with me, I beg you to change. It's not changing to not be jealous anymore, but I want you to control your jealousy at the right place and time."

Andi took off her hand and rubbed Rena's wet cheek with her thumb.

After saying his last word, Andi hugged the body of the woman who had accompanied him for almost 4 years. In that embrace, Rena cried a mouthful. Four years is not a short time for them to pass the day together. Rena loved the man so much with all her flaws and she did not want to break up from him. But somehow his mouth did not dare to speak, as if there was an urge from his heart to justify Andi's words.

Moments with that hug, Andi took off his embrace even though Rena was still in her tears. He looked at the woman's face and wiped his tears for a moment before passing from there with a single painful sentence.

"Happy birthday, my beautiful Renata."

Rena's cry at that time grew louder, completely toned yet without a sound.

Rena did not dare to turn around to see the man who had left her. It hurts so much to accept the unilateral decision, but he himself cannot blame Andi just like that because here he is the one who started. The profoundly poignant Renaissance cry made a middle-aged man who was on the porch of his house look at him with pity.

The man who was none other than his father, approached him and immediately hugged the body of his beloved daughter tightly. No words came out of the man's mouth, he just rubbed his son's shoulders with affection. Accompanying her only daughter who was spilling a sense of sadness that only Renata could feel.

"Pa," said Rena softly after a long cry. "Andi, Pa."

"Its okay. Cry, Papa will accompany you."

That's all her dad can say for Rena. The man who was very familiar with the spoiled nature of his daughter could not say anything because he did not want Rena to be wrong in judging what he said. It was better to let the daughter calm down first, after that she then asked him to speak.

After finishing his maghrib service, Rico hurriedly prepared to go towards Alina's contract. He looked rushed as thirty minutes more time had shown at seven. Don't let Alina be late just for waiting for her. Or else, don't let Alina go first and leave him. He should have asked for her mobile number this afternoon so he could call her.

Twenty minutes into the street fight, the car Rico drives has finally arrived in front of Alina's rented yard. Rico got out of the car and stood next to his car glancing towards the simple house.

Without knowing her cell phone number and hesitantly knocking on her door, Rico confused how she called Alina.

"Has he gone? But the contract lights are still alive" Rico murmured softly.

Rico was still sitting next to his car, when he was about to approach Alina's house, suddenly the house lights went out by themselves. And a few seconds later, Alina's figure was seen coming out from there and finally made Rico sigh. She thinks Alina left her, but she didn't.

After making sure her house was locked, Alina stared at him as she walked over. He smiled faintly which made Rico instantly smile.

"I thought you were gone" Rico said after Alina approached him.

"It should be, but I promised to wait for my new motorcycle" Alina joked.

"Sorry, the time is very tight with maghrib time."

"It's okay" Alina said casually. "Come, I'm so hungry."

Rico scrunched his forehead hearing Alina's words.

"Hungry? Do you want to sing or eat?" ask Rico wonder.

"Both. Come on, it's almost 7."

Although not understood by Alina's words, but Rico just agree because five minutes more time has shown at seven. It could've been her if Alina was going to be late tonight.

Rico who felt guilty then apologized back to Alina, but somehow the woman always said 'its okay' to him. It doesn't matter if they arrive late.

Arriving at the cafe, Rico follows Alina inside. He glanced towards his watch, it turned out that they were ten minutes late from Alina's entry hour. He follows Alina who approaches a group of men and women of different ages at a table.

"Am I late?" alina asked everyone there.

"It's never too late for an Alina. Take it easy," said one of the wave-haired men.

"Heh, Rel, look around if you want to seduce Alina. Look, he's got his girlfriend" said one of the women there, pointing at Rico.

Suddenly they all stared at Rico who was behind Alina. Likewise with Alina who was staring at him because it was a little strange with the word 'girlfriend' thrown by her friend.

"Aish, Alina's boyfriend."

"Suit well, one is handsome and one is beautiful."

"Finally Alina took out her boyfriend as well. Kirain she's really single."

Their opinions are for Alina and Rico. But the two people who were being rumored to be dating just put on a relaxed face, as if confirming the statement.

"Al, is she your boyfriend?" ask one of the men there to Alina.

Alina threw her gaze at her friend who asked.

"No. Just friends" he replied later.

Those who had been excited because they thought that Rico was Alina's boyfriend then let out a long sigh once they knew that they were just friends.

"Then it doesn't matter if I seduce Alina again, Nov?" asked Farel the man who first seduced Alina.

"That's fine. If so, I also want to seduce Alina's friend deh," said her friend named Novi.

They laughed together in response to that funny nonexistent joke.

"Heh, you two-man gatel. Mending you seduce each other, fit tuh tuh equally gatel," said another friend and avenged giggling ngik by others.

Alina and Rico just throw each other a smile hearing the interaction of the people there. I don't know what the two of them are feeling right now, which is for sure they are just enjoying the entertainment.
